Here's some clarification for things that were changed or weren't explained: - As others have said Kuina fell down the stairs and died in an accident - it wasnt mentioned but the Sensei was actually Kuina's father which is why he shed a tear when he told Zoro about her death. That's also why Zoro had to ask him for permission to take her sword because the Wado Ichimonji is their family's sword. - And as a side note fun fact: the reveal that Garp is Luffy's grandfather actually wasnt revealed in the anime until the early 300s (the live action only goes up to episode 45 in terms of content). I think they brought that reveal to this part of the story so that people who have never seen it before like you guys can experience the same bomb drop we all got in the manga or anime. It definitely makes things more interesting so I really like how they handled that change. The fact that they brought Garp in this early is also really cool (he wasnt actually revealed as a character until around episode 68 in the anime).
The Grandpa Garp reveal happening so early is one of my favorite changes, for context if the Live Action kept at its current pace and kept the reveal in the same place it would not be until around the 4th or 5th season. Having more Garp and Koby is a plus.
Have you guys ever read Bridge to Terebithia? Kuina's fate reminds me of that. Even in a fantastical tale, people are still people, and we can die in the most anticlimactic of ways. The thing about Usopp using the servant corridors and Klahadore definitely not using them is that it sort of reveals him from the get-go. He _is_ a servant, but he refuses to use them because to him it's demeaning. And obviously, he's a butler, which makes him the highest ranked servant and likely not a servant that would use them frequently in most households and, I mean, obviously Kaya isn't someone who'd insist that her employees should "keep out of the way" or anything. But Klahadore barely even remembers that they exist because he never thought of himself as her employee or her servant in the first place. I thought that was a cool detail to include, personally. Also, Luffy didn't beat him near enough D: All those things he complained about having to help Kaya with was because of him. Kaya was sick and isolated _because of him_ and he has the temerity to resent her for turning to him for help. The fucking nerve!

Kuro has super-speed, but it's got some severe drawbacks. For one, he's completely unconscious while using his speed, his body kinda moves on its own. Due to this, he has very limited control over his movement. He struggles to move to precise positions unless moving a short distance. If moving a larger distance, his directions of movement become much more erratic (although he'll never accidentally run into a wall or anything like that, his body automatically avoids obstacles like this). There's a part in the anime where he tries to use his speed to slash Luffy, but he's standing a fair distance away so he accidentally runs past him and starts killing his own crewmates.
I don't think killing his crew was an accident. He told them he was going to slaughter all the witnesses, and gave up on the "pirate attack" plan because he deemed the crew too incompetent to carry it out. I think the plan was to pussyfoot blender every person there.
The Panda is a topiary in front of Kaya's mansion. It's to help you remember that the well is in front of the mansion and that Zoro gets lost on his way back to the mansion after climbing out of the well.

There are so many times Kuro could just easily cut someone up or hurt them, but everytime he either misses or he decides not to and just pushes them aside instead...
In the manga, they did say while Kuro does his catstep, he can't see. So Essentially, he's blindly swinging. It's one of the reasons why his crew in the manga get so easily caught in the crossfire.
@@cocofirebird makes sense if they explain it but it's a bit of an easy way out, once he had grabbed Kaya and Nami he was standing still and could have easily cut them up.... the whole time he tried to kill her through the walls but when she was finally in his hands he just acted creepy and threw them aside. and it isn't just Kuro of course, same with Arlong putting his sword near Luffys face and deciding not to bite his face off. Of course it makes sense for bad guys to not finish off the good guys that easily and it's fantasy but somehow it kinda stands out for me how many times they seem to throw away perfectly fine chances to finish someone off. xD I never really payed that much attention to it ( in other fiction ) before.. o well

They're at an age where girls have longer reach and more strength, but that's going to change when the boys grow. Anyone who knows much about sword fighting will know strength isn't as important as speed, which she'd still have (really she's just losing any reach advantage), but it's easy to see why a young girl is concerned about the situation.

theres a where's waldo bit going on with the one piece manga called "Pandaman" so the panda head might be a nod to that
Down the Well, Down D Stairs
School’s in session so now I’m actually early with these hahah
We need the story of how the best youtube couple met....
this video just made my night :D
i freaking love this series and i can't wait for season 2!!
Yea the Vice Admiral’s full name is Monkey D. Garp
Haha grandpa reaction was awesome
These have been so fun to watch!
Zoro going the wrong way is a thing ahahhaa hes badass but gets lost easily. 🥲 I love that detail because i suck with directions too.
No, Luffy. I, am your grandfather.
I swear, yesterday I watched part of your live GOT Lore for seasons 4. It is not to be found today. What happened to it?
Can’t wait to watch y’all’s reaction to chucky s3 trailer

Wait... there is a hidden panda in the background?! Bad enough I missed the ones in the anime...
I dunno if this has already been said but if it hasn’t, it should have been, for your guys sake 😂 all devil fruit users (the fruit luffy eats in ep 1) can’t swim and if they’re in water will sink, it’s not that that’s luffy’s weakness 🙌🏻😂
I love this episode! On rewatch I skip episode 3 just to get to it lol
Yeah, Luffy's the kind of pirate who... doesn't commit any acts of piracy... ever.
i think he might not be a pirate
Team rocket is blasting off again
kuina's death is a reality check in this world that however strong one becomes humans are still fragile creatures !!
Uso in Japanese means 'lie', Uso(pp)/liar
Zoros one of strongest characters in the anime and don’t you forget it, put some gd respect on his name
king of hell 💀👑
Lol,i just thought of something. Who would win? Luffy's gum-gum bell or Tanjiro's hard head?
If you guys ever do watch the anime or read the manga just know garp isn't actually introduced that early.
You should do reaction on Chucky Season 3 Teaser and Official.
Of course it makes sense for bad guys to not finish off the good guys that easily and it's fantasy but somehow it kinda stands out for me how many times they seem to throw away perfectly fine chances to finish someone off. xD
I never really payed that much attention to it ( in other fiction ) before.. o well
Luckily they didn’t find out how kuina really died
i can now say garps full name is Monkey D Garp and yes he is for sure luffy's grandpa... i wont say luffy's dads name yet or what he is doing but he might be shown in later seasons
I think she fell down the stairs
Down D. Stairs
“That came out of nowhere.” Well not really. She was literally stating how he would get ‘bigger, stronger, faster,” etc. all in perpituaty with him being born male. All of which are true.
she only thought those things because she heard her father talking about it behind her back, despite her *AS A CHILD* literally defeating the adults of the dojo. the live action cut out so much context
They're at an age where girls have longer reach and more strength, but that's going to change when the boys grow. Anyone who knows much about sword fighting will know strength isn't as important as speed, which she'd still have (really she's just losing any reach advantage), but it's easy to see why a young girl is concerned about the situation.
11:30 "He took advantage of you because you were of age and your parents weren't home". I got to say, the actual context of him trying to kill her is terrible but you're right, it still sounds much worse taken out of that context 🤣
Zoro has a terrible sense of direction, and no, Kuro has no devil fruit powers, he has a technique called stealth foot
