I'm grateful to have your optimist perspective, thank you. My first ever partner and long term relationship passed it to me. I have a lot to grieve and process because it's an action I took that made it possible for this to happen to me. it really shook me up in terms of questioning trust and communication. Imagine if it was just 20 years ago and HIV would be a death sentence. Thank you though for your positive perspective. It's good to be reminded that some people out there will be kind and understanding.
Gonna need another video for the case of a friend you do want to sleep with 😜 In all seriousness, I admired the points laid out in this video. Can’t imagine how many hours of pain of not doing things resulted in learning all of these lessons. Your stories, especially the specific details involving pills and TSA, really pulled at my heartstrings
I didn't even know travel restrictions due to HIV existed (and I'm checking out of curiosity, it is kind of common!). But if you just have to show a blood test upon entry, does that even pose a problem when your HIV is undetectable? Or do you have to declare it in your visa? Nice video, Dr. D. -- enlightening and very well thought, as usual!
I also had noooo idea because I was always traveling to places that didn't have any restrictions I guess 😄 so I don't know how it works for tourists like if they test you at the airport or check for medication in your bags buuut for permanent resident permits they do it by requiring hiv tests... (actually how my mom found out she had it..) and let's see if I can move to a certain country ;)
Thank you so much, you're amazing person. Almost 3 years living with HIV+, In the beginning of my Diagnosed my life became like nightmare 🙃 , BuT now everything gets better.🙂
We need a video on the side effects of arvs and everyday experiences whilst being on medication . Do you still get sick? Did you have counseling? I need that content please 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Hats off to those who are smiling and making others laugh. Life's purpose is to laugh and be happy. No matter what you have. And HIV is just like diabetes or any other chronic condition now a days. So don't worry about it and continue living a happy life.

I'm less than one month since testing positive. I was already feeling lonely and that I didn't have family or friends before test but now... I'm thinking I don't have anyone to tell
I understand the feeling, and even if you had loved ones around you who knew, you can still feel lonely because no one will understand what YOU are actually going through. The journey towards acceptance will be a challenge that you have to do on your own. That being said, outside support is *incredibly* helpful and much needed in my opinion so please find someone to confide in
hi Diana i was wondering if you have any social media account that i could follow? you’re an incredible person and your videos r rlly helpful and entertaining.

@@m.ktouray2360 Hey I'm not an expert but I'm not sure how common upper back pain is?? but if you took the hiv test months after the incident and they were all negative, I think you're in the clear and fine :)
Angry at her per se? No. Angry at the universe / frustrated with how unfair it was? Oh, most definitely. But not anymore. My mom unknowingly passed it on to me, so I could never be angry at something that was out of her own control
