I'm just a 25 year old California girl now living in Germany :)
I was born HIV+ and I’ve been undetectable (untransmittable) ever since I can remember. I’m here to show that HIV is no longer a big deal in order to #stopthestigma. By educating about the virus, I hope I make it easier for those who are living with HIV to feel comfortable and confident for who they really are. Remember HIV is just a part of you, it doesn’t define you !!
The journey definitely hasn’t been easy but that’s why I’m here to shed some light on what it was like growing up HIV+ and I’m ready to share my experiences, the good and the bad, and mistakes I’ve made along the way. If my advice can help and inspire at least one other person, then I know I’ve done my job.

I wanted to highlight how much progress we have made so far and the promising outlook we have regarding new medical developments and access to treatments ✨ We often forget how much we achieved!
⭐ more and more funding is going into an HIV cure (phase I clinical trials using gene therapy🧬🔬)
⭐ more and more people are gaining access to medication ⚕️(Treatment As Prevention thanks to U=U🦺)
⭐ HIV negative people can protect themselves against an infection before or after exposure (PrEP & PEP💊)

@2:32 According to that test results paper you dont even have HIV. Why didnt they discontinue the pills if theres no evidence you are HIV positive.
I know, it’s because HIV is an incredibly clever virus and hides in the tissues and reservoirs of our body / hence why it’s been so difficult to figure out ways to eradicate/cure it

My uncle and cousins died from AIDS. Before I was born but I’ve seen the pictures. Men in their late 20s turned into 80 year olds. I believe honesty is the best policy. I’d always recommend a condom.
