Snehal Deb If it was 2015 I'd say no. But the situation is a little better now. Although I don't think the credit for that goes to tmc. Bengal has a well rounded intelligentsia with a powerful voice, atleast in Kolkata, who will support you. Tmc is still as ignorant as ever though.

I don't want to be shit show here but, reality is very much different. The people who running this country have gut or for sake your happiness they have power in hand. Anybody can be joke or anyone can make joke. N the people who laughing are came for entertainment and laughing only. So we can just laughing or making joke on thing(e.g. movie, cricket n politics), to which we cannot do anything. I feel pity those who think he is making sense , came to reality. That will be better for life.

VII. incitement to an offence, and
VIII. sovereignty and integrity of India.
NO , you still have A LOT of topics to touch such as -
1) Criticize the corruption in the Government in creative ways
2) The entire logic of bolywood (here you have an ocean of things to touch
3) Charsies & Ganjeries(Druggies) - Oh wait you see positive comedy done on that
4) Terrorists - Stop holding rallies in favor of them
5) Anti-India elements in society - Please do a standup on someone like Arundhiti roy etc
6) People who go against all these 8 execptions - well comedians are of same breed (so no comedy on it)

That's the joke of "Freedom of Speech." Anyone can speak about Constitution of India, no one cares a damn. But Religion, Caste, History, Politicians etc or even rights can lead you to jail.
