Honored 🤜🤛 Thanks Max for riffing on my obsession with cascading gain known as the II II II II.
Why does this plugin need to have the iLok credentials? How are they handled and stored? It seems like a very bad practice even if you don't have any bad intentions.

@@p4fizzle You're clearly not understanding the issue. You're supposed to share credentials only with the application they belong to. What is happening here is you sharing your username and password with someone else. It's like if a game on Steam would require you to share your steam username and password with the developers of that game. I have other plugins that use iLok, but don't do this, so it's clearly not necessary. We don't know what is being done to the credentials. Are they being collected and stored somewhere from where they could possibly leak out and suddenly we lose all our licenses.
@@WarlonWinterheart Ok I prob did misunderstand. I'm not sure what you're talking about but when I installed it I just activated the licence and opened it up like I have with all other plugins. I didn't have to do anything different

@@MaxSoloMusic Hey Max, sorry for not replying before, I didn't notice the notification :( I got a kx500 Etched, with Fishman Modern. Just love it :) Funny thing is that I'm living in Bolivia , La Paz right now, and the place is almost 4k meters above the level. So when I arrived here, I needed to do truss rod adjustment. Congrats for the great content :)

Amp sims may be getting better, but cab sims definitely aren't. When's the next big sonic breakthrough going to come for that?
What's more to ask from irs? Have you tried some commercial ones like york audio, ownhammer and such made in the latest years? They work really good, imo
