this boss fight turned very personal to me after she said she wanted not only murder all the dragons also the baby ones I was like "dude!! how someone can hurt those lovely little ones!! this bitch is so bad shit insane!!"
The awkard thing here is that they didn't exchange any pleasantries before the battle. What made Ripto's battle so epic was that and the music and everything. Gnasty Gnorc was a weak encounter too, but at least Spyro said something "you are toast jaja!!" but here nothing. Not a single line they exchange, which is why this encounter is weak.
Gw dulu waktu msih bocil main di PS 1, kenapa setiap kali mau lwan Final Boss selalu mental ke Stage 1, kayak kereset gitu jdi ngulang dari awal lgi, malah gk jdi lwan Bossnya😭
This final battle is pretty weak and forgettable to be honest. There's no cutscenes of banter between the hero and villain, the music is a bit generic, the mechanics aren't good.
What I don't understand is why they made a cliffhanger at the end when her arm emerges from the lava, but they went ahead and made Ripto come back out of nowhere in Spyro 4.
Dark Toirtlez but Spyro 4 wasn't developed by Insomniac Games and also wasn't even a good game so that crap have no need to be considered canon. (Still Ripto survived somehow in the epilogue of Spyro 3).
This is pretty epic, come on. At least they fixed the soundtrack in the Greatest Hits version. Otherwise we'd be hearing Sunrise Spring Home AGAIN which doesn't even fit the final battle.
@@aaron_aj_knight_95 that's only the NTSC/US version, in the PAL region version; it plays Spike's Arena again, at least it fits the context of the boss

I remembered when i played this game
There's a bug that transported me to the start of the game, and autosaves, losing all your progresses also
I was like.. 8 when I played this game but I think the same happened to me =P I remember having to restart my whole game a lot.
Anton Girdeux
oh no. i am an active pirate.
I remember that bug, that happened to me like 3 times xD, i never beated that boss
Worst bug everrr! I was really angry when that happend to me 😈😈😈
it's actually not a bug.it's a pirated version of the game.Making the game reset all progress in final bossThis happened to me too...

I also found it weird and didn't like it, but... it shows that they hate each other so much that they just want each other dead.
Yea ripto was probably the best big bad
If you think this fight was underwhelming, may I introduce you to the Super Bonus World Sorceress fight?
2:15 the sound design of those energy balls shooting up then falling down exploding in waves always sounded so badass to me
In Reignited, she sounds like an actual woman when hurt. Here she sounds like an angry male demon.
Best Spyro game ever in the original trilogy in my opinion
After all these years I'm just now noticing that this fight is a bit of a copy of the Ripto boss fight. Heck she even dies by falling in lava.

That's why ripto was a better boss

@@i-work-at-enron Oh I've seen it. It's not worth going through the effort of getting all the eggs.
@@ZakariaSouini-ez5iqAnd why I prefer Ripto's Rage more than Year Of The Dragon (Either way both beat the first game by a mile)
i beat this boss
Nah such a boring boss with such a boring song, she isn't nearly as epic as ripto's boss fight.
