    I have a 2015 and it's phenomenal. BMW makes amazing motorcycles, this bike is bullet proof, simple and rewarding when you ride it. 4th gear at 40mph and grab a hand full of throttle and hang on! 110 hp 88 ft lbs torque in a sub 500 lb bike is awesome. BUY ONE! You won't regret it.

      Appreciate the feedback. I'm really trying to figure out whether I want to consolidate to one bike and this would be it, if that were the case. So, yeah... I've got some choices mull over 🤔

    Great bike. Have 2020 model and really enjoy the ride. It is just perfect: built quality, handling, sound, everything… Not to mention that it looks amazing.

    Mate, very nice video, well done! That's themost comprehensive one that I saw at RUclips.

      Thank you. Appreciate your support. I'm heavily considering adding the R nineT to the garage. 🤔

    Hey! I thought that was you last Friday. I didn't know for sure until now. Lol. I wanted to ride the R9T but the way the rides were scheduled I didn't get a chance. That was the first time I've ever rode a BMW. I rode the R18 and the K1600. I really like the K1600. Anyways. Great videos and ride safe!

      I've rode the R18 and thought it was really nice. And the K 1600 was really impressive. I rode it last Friday, too and I'll have a video up in the near future. Next time, you'll know it's me and you can introduce yourself ✌🏽🤓

    Get one you will not regret it overall it’s an amazing fun good looking bike 😎and you don’t find many RUclipsr’s with regular video uploading have this bike👍🏽

      It's definitely on my short list. I love the look, really like the performance, and especially like how much you change up the look (if you couldn't tell by the video 😆).

    Don’t consider it. Do it. I loved mine. What else are you considering ? Have you ever tried the Discontinued Svartpillen ???

    • @thatoneguymoto
      @thatoneguymoto  2 года назад

      It's definitely on the short list. If I don't end up going the adventure bike, or electric bike route for my next bike, the R nineT will probably be the one. I love the Svartpillen. Haven't had the opportunity to ride one, but if one arises, I'll definitely go for it.

    I have one of these bikes he just can’t go wrong with a purchase I bought mine from pikes Peak motorsports in Colorado Springs they take great care of my bike and my knees for anything else that I have in motorcycle associated

      I'm surprised I don't see more on the road, because it's one of my favorites. If I can find one used with the options I like for a good value, I'll likely own in the future. It's a tad overpriced new, IMO.

    I've had six GS' over the years- 1100GS, 2- 1150GSA's, 1200GS, 1200GSA oil cooled and now a 1200GSA Water Cooled... I've put at least 30k miles on each, all trouble free, but I miss the "oil cooled" version of the 1200...in fact I even miss the "agricultural" feel of the old 1150's! As I am no longer "touring", I m thinking I might have to get a 1200 RnineT Urban- Just hoping they bring back the white color again...

      Yeah, I love the options and features on the 2022 but none of the colors or paint schemes really grab my attention. The white was really nice, and I loved the orange from '19 line-up.

      Still mulling it over. And I love my 1290 SDR, so I may stick with it.

    No mention of one of the biggest negatives on this bike - no fuel gauge WTF !!!

    • @thatoneguymoto
      @thatoneguymoto  2 года назад +2

      I rode Sportsters for years and never had a fuel gauge. It caused a bit of anxiety at first, but you get good at tracking with the trip meter. I mean, if the one of the biggest negatives on a retro-styled bike is that it doesn't have a fuel gauge, I think it's got a lot going for it. No? I do think it should have one, but I loved virtually everything else about this bike, so that wasn't something that came to mind.

    • @petermiller8634
      @petermiller8634 2 года назад

      Totally agree they are overall a great machine, so much so that I have one. Just making the point it would have been much better with a fuel gauge & being a retro bike is no excuse for not having it.

    I test rode one and my ass was numb from the seat after 30min. Otherwise great bike.

    • @thatoneguymoto

      I was in the saddle for about 1/2 hour and it still felt comfy. There are definitely options for more cushy and ergonomic seats for the R nineT, so at least there's that. 🤓

    • @petermiller8634
      @petermiller8634 2 года назад

      Agreed that the standard seat is uncomfortable after an hour. It’s annoying that for an expensive bike BMW couldn’t put a quality seat on it.

    • @dave8549
      @dave8549 2 года назад

      @@petermiller8634 True, the seat's not very good. I took the skin off mine, added a 2 cm foam pad and then re-stapled the same cover back on. It made the world of difference. It's just fine now for all day riding. Total cost, under $20. Took about 3 hours to do.
