But the locations need to have very high foot traffic even if the machines aren't the best. Joe plans on upgrading these machines by making them into four container machines. If the route was mine, I would slowly replace the machines with better quality machines with fifty cent mechs. And sell the machines and use the money to buy more quality machines. I also think building a route is just as good or better than buying a route. It's free and helps you fine tune your pitch while placing quality machines. Now with the Coke machines, Joe was very smart to get into it with no money. He went to his local distributor in Tupelo to find out how to proceed with no cash. He found that Coke will supply the machines if he supplied the locations. He did it without cash because he didn't go down the credit rabbit hole with them where he would need credit for Coke to front him the product. Joe uses cash at the distributor to buy cases of product to fill his machines. I plan to hopefully soon go back to Tupelo and record Joe's progress in bulk vending and get more details about the exact paperwork and etc. Joe got his free Coke machines and if he has obtained more. What this guy did not tell you was Coca-Cola will give you a free machine but she has to buy their product 500 dollars every month regardless if you need it or not and if you get call using the competitors product and their machine they were confiscated from you you will lose the money that is inside a machine
I was shocked how Coke will just give you machines without a credit check or anything else. They will even deliver machines to your locations for free. Joe just drove up to the distribitor and paid cash for what he needed. Now if you do a 30 day net account, Coke does do paperwork with a credit check. But Joe pays cash and sales tax on the product whenever he needs to refill a machine. Thanks for the comment!

Good eye. It was a long time ago when I recorded this and I can’t remember if he did it because he was going to throw out the product because he just bought the route.
For the coke machines you have to buy a certain amount of product every month or quarter to keep the machine. It can be profitable but if sales goes down you are buying product just to keep the machine. If you don't have another avenue to sell the product you loose with it just sitting.
In my opinion these machines are worth investing in because of the expense to upgrade to fifty cent mechs if they are available. Also the time to modify the wheels to have the machines to dispense gumballs. Now if I could flip the machines quickly for a fast profit, I would do so. But these machines are obsolete for today's economy and the company is out of business that used to make them. Thanks for watching and commenting!
