What a great idea to have that at your home.
Might I also suggest for the old 1970s retro amusement park / dark ride haunted house nostalgic look, you should use florescent spray paint artwork with black lights. I've recreated that kind of look in my basement arcade.

@@Epichomehaunts The paint is cheap and easy to obtain. We got ours at Walmart. Came out looking just like the 1970s haunted houses. My wife did the artwork painting the ceiling and lally column support stands. I used paint chips to make the floor glow, with black lights everywhere, so it's a home retro arcade with sort of a 70s haunted house dark ride florescent color visuals, slight outer space theme. 80s & 70s arcade games like Pacman, Asteroids and Space Invaders.

Oh man, this video is excellent and the Ghost Train Ride looks authentic to me because watching it from beginning to end, do people remember that nervous excitement you use to get in the pit of your stomach when you were queuing up for the ride as a kid, which only intensified while on the ride, just had it in bucket loads watching this video, (and a little nosebleed from the excitement but that’s middle age for you!) Even though the Ghost Train Ride was always my favourite and first go-to at funfair, (which are travelling amusement park in the U.K. that came yearly at local parks in your area,) admittedly I can honestly say I’ve been on so many Ghost Train Rides but never once with my eyes actually open, which made the ride that much more exciting for me. Now, if I had the money and a sizeable backyard, for me the ultimate Ghost Train Ride would have been combining the ride with a rollercoaster where you have the slow scary ride at the beginning with all the horror-theme pop-ups and jump-outs and finish with a fast corkscrew, loopy-loop and a terrifying drop. To the guy who created this superb Ghost Train Ride, awesome man, I ❤️ it

The funnier thing in the whole situation is the freaky fact besides your awesome home dark ride, that is much better than an original one we have in greece called treno fantasma from a legit company! Years back in the 80s-90s was working and had lots of stuff inside, but with time they left it to its misery to rot away having most of its props removed and the remaining not working at all! Ahh out there in usa you have the culture and the spirit to even do a haunted attraction your own apartment that's how awesome you are people! ;)

Man, this is so cool! I love roller coasters but nothing beats a well done dark ride. How neat that you don't have to leave your property to ride one whenever you like. This also makes me nostalgic for when I'd randomly set my room and closet as a haunted house for my parents to walk through when I was a little kid. My favorite part was tying my biggest stuffed animal up and placing him on the upper shelf of my closet and when they'd go in I'd pull on the string on the outside and it would fall off the shelf. I think the first time it got my mom really good. Anyway, great imagination sir, I especially love the TNT bit and that part really did make me think of Toad's Adventure at Disney World.

Hello my friend. First I just want to say Thank You for sharing your dark ride build video. It was awesome and you did a great job making it. I'm curious as to how long did it take you to make it? I've always loved dark rides. Yours kinda reminds me of the ones in the movies Ghoulies 2 and Funhouse from 1982. In the last 10 years or so that I've been going or fairs and carnivals in my area. I've notice that they didn't have a spook house ride. and Its really sad because you almost can't have a carnival without a spook house you know? Its kinda like a fair without a Ferris wheel or without cotton candy or popcorn or something like that. I'm not sure if its because spook houses are hard to maintain or is it because of the upkeep of them? Thank You again my friend. Have a good one.

This is truly amazing and I adore the amount of effort put into it. :D One suggestion: could he make the ride slower? It felt like it went by too fast and, if it hadn't been for the tour in the beginning, I would have missed a lot of his hard work. Themed rides at Disney (especially in Fantasy Land) are very slow so that the riders can soak in everything around them and make the ride seem longer than it is. :) The guy put in so much work and I'd want people to take it all in as much as possible.

Thanks for the kind words! I agree with you about "the Monster of Frankenstein" comment, yet when I visit Universal Studios Hollywood they have a parking lot named "Frankenstein Parking" with a picture of "The Monster of Frankenstein," so I'm okay with referring to my prop as "Frankenstein" LOL!

I love these types of rides. I am in a local haunted house and appreciate all your hard work. Coming from PA.

The ride could really use a background soundtrack. It would add to the creepy ambience and help disguise the creaking of the guide wheels.

actually for this ride I wanted to convey a "Mr Toad's Wild Ride" feel. My next Dark ride will be slower

Completely love it. I've always envisioned how I could do this and you've confirmed it can be affordably done. Awesome!

don’t understand why you don’t have more people watching your videos
Hope to one day open a fair or carnival with 2 of my friends and would be awesome for you to help build an attraction at my place and I’m doing a Halloween theme
Your videos are one of the best Halloween mazes on youtube

I imagine it takes a pretty long time since only 3-4 people can ride at a time but still very cool!!
