You're the best guitar tutor ever. For older beginners and self taught guitarists, this is super important.
Thanks a ton for your incredible guitar lessons 🙏🏻
Foundation and Daily Exercises are so vital.
I love how detailed your guitar pro files are. With drums and bass they are perfect for practice. Thanks so much. Some of these stretches are killing my left hand though 😂
Nice exercices, thanks !
I hear some people are born with different tendon-control in their hands and fingers. Some folks can't move their pinky without the ring finger also moving (I am definitely one of them) because (I think) the tendons aren't fully independent. Some people do have that independence (or more of it). Even if I hold my ring finger straight with my other hand, I cannot bend my pinky. I'm not sure if it's possible to "practice" your way out of this but you could certainly get more comfortable managing it.
And let’s also not forget people who have a “hitchhiker’s thumb” to deal with. I have one. It makes holding a pick a bit different because I have to grab the pick more by my thumb’s joint instead of the tip of my finger. It also sometimes makes it tricky to use my other thumb to support my fretting hand because I also need to generally use my joint since bending my thumb to use the tip is more awkward and weaker.
I’d love to hear Bernth address both of these issues - I’m sure lots of pros have some of these physical limitations, but how to they overcome them?
Thank you for this exercise, appreciate it.
Thank you my good man!
More homework to do. 🎸🤘
You're right in time, i've just started to wonder how i ever get rid of this problem that i physically can't play faster because of the many unwanted movements i do while playing. Tysm i'll try these!
Excelente
Sport- Guitar...😊
The first exercise 💰💰💰
I have worked on to do.
🔥🤘🖤
im learning cyberglass and i dont have the tabs so is really difficult, con you do a tutorial pls
Lol the look on their face lit up
Bernth, what do you do when you start to feel an onset of carpel tunnel from 20 years of poor technique? Are there any hand relaxation routines or techniques you use? Do my hands need daily ice or epsom salt baths? Please help. Musicians donʼt seem to talk about putting hand or arm relaxation exercises into their routines. Imo, it should be a thing but I havenʼt been able to find any advice on the subject from a musicianʼs perspective.
Hello Bernth, i have a question for you. How much time we must put on this practice and also how frequently we must practice them?
I am guilty of gripping the fretboard like it owes me cash. Bad habits are hard to break. Oh to be young again with the internet advantages of today. Thanks @BERNTH
Thx 🎸🤘🏽🫡
Man, I got some many of these tutorials vids😳
Wouldn't Exercise #2 cause unnecessary tension in your left hand? Any suggestions or additional instructions to combat this and prevent injury?
🎉
Should I try to play the exercises around the same tempo as the demonstration or should I try to play them as fast as possible?
Slow and accurate, at every tempo starting at 50 BPM for 8 bars, increasing 5bpm each time you make no mistakes
@@xyzyzx1253thanks
Hey guys is it right 3 notes per string up pick slanting and one 2-4 down pick Angle?
Can you demonstrate this with 2 note per string pentatonics? I cannot control the movement at speed with them , way easier with 3 notes per string
sorry for dumb question: is #161 - This Is Why You CAN'T Play FAST! - mentioned "Economy of motion package"?
AHAA this challenge i like ,thanks Bernth.
Hand tats are the secret ingredient to fast playing.
Do you do like zoom or video face to face shred teaching?
A higher action puts concreth on your fingertops!
Orange juice
...so it's basically all about economy of motion and energy conservation.
Wait... you're meant to hold your thumb behind your *middle* finger specifically??
It is a challenge?
Ohh yesss.
I would finger the chord bruv
I realized I won't ever play fast. My hands just suck from killing myself working all my 33yrs away
I can't play fast. I don't have an American Fender with Ferrari stickers or like 200k to spend on a rig, and Im not arrogant enough, and I like Dimebag Darrell, but I don't like donuts so I can check that off the list.
You just suck and don’t practice.
Honestly, not liking donuts is half of the trick.
Stop lying Berth. Everyone know that to play faster you only need Ferrari stickers on your guitar
And bracelets. Half a kg per wrist.
I'm starting to get the point: the more annoying, the more helpful it is 😂😂😂😂
Work on the annoying until it's no longer annoying 😂
This is way too hard for a beginner.
