- His first session for John Peel recorded 1st May 1979 and first transmitted 8th May 1979.
This recording taken from the repeat on 4th June 1979.
Tracks are 'Down Di Road', 'Want Fi Goh Rave', 'Reality Poem' and 'Sonny's Lettah (Anti-sus Poem)'.
A fifth track, 'It Dread Inna Englan' is noted as having been recorded but doesn't appear to have been transmitted on first broadcast or the repeat.
The session was produced by Trevor Dann, engineered by Mike Robinson and recorded at BBC Maida Vale (Studio 4).
The musicans are noted as being the same as on the 'Forces of Victory' LP.
John Peel introduced me to LKJ,
I owe him to this day.
Reality Poem is a dream, dub, massive bass, clever clever lyrics which are still pertinent, if not more so.
