Capitalism and it's influences on the self, the community, and the world at large.
On a personal level these ever increasing standards and desire to sell more product created a fake norm to make you feel like you need to fit it. Leading to personal issues like mental health, body images, eating disorders, or low self esteem in general.
On the community level by forcing a particular model for a family unit with an absurdly unrealistic expectation to healthily obtain. Designed to keep the population sectioned off into breeding units rather than voluntary associations that are focused on raising children rather than who happens to he having sex with who. These coerced family units create people trying to force it to work when it is so clearly toxic, partly because of financial dependence.
Finally on a larger level the corporate class mostly have ASPD and achieve their status either by feudalism (being born into a class higher than others, allowing for entirely different opportunities), or by manipulating and exploiting others. Many getting rich off destroying our planet. They care about the status. The race to the top to be the king or ancestor to whoever wins at real life monopoly.
There's plenty of food resources and green tech. But the capitalistic goal of getting to the top no matter what keeps people from truly caring about mass poverty, at least not enough to take issue with the system itself.
Simple Plan has real life-long messages, while a lot of other singers sing about break-up or their crush. This makes my life worth living. Yeah, they have some love-ish songs, but who cares? They're awesome! Definately one of their best songs ever!
Damn TRUE SALUTE TO SIMPLE PLAN every song they made have a big impact not only to one self but to society.

I cried while watching this. When I was a teenager I used to love this song (I was 17). Now that I'm 26 I'm still fighting against my shadows. I still try to convince myself that is okay to be a misfit, because actually, we are all misfits, the people around you who you think fit perfectly with everybody else, inside of them, they are still empty.
My e-mail literally starts with "misfitbrit". I own being an imperfect misfit in a society that expects perfection. I pray one day you own who you are, too. You're not the problem - society is.

This song show the reality of today's world. Young girls doing surgury, implants to look like a model, and become star in social media. Parents, children not having good relation, everybody only cares about money. It's a good messege in this song.

Simple plan best band
Simple Plan has been one of my favorite bands since I was eight year old. I related to their songs so much as a child and didnt really understand why. I think I do now though. It wasn't necessarily the lyrics towards myself because I was lucky enough to grow up in a good household and have a good life, but it was the fact that others don't. Simple Plan sings about actual problems and how we need to try and help fix them instead of ignore them. They can make hit songs and still be informational and so so powerful. Definitely a Lawful Good if you ask me.

It's my biggest fear that humans will never realize the damage they have done. Because of our horrible air because of the factories and things like that we will all die. All people care about is money these days. He people with the big money either give money,or take it. Or some famous people just give money to charities to become more famous. Teenagers don't notice the worlds around them and are only staring at screens all day. Poor people are starving and are begging people for food. I just hope in the future that one day people will FINALLY realize that we are the reasons all of these horrible things are happening,because if we won't very thing will eventually everything will fall apart.
I completely agree my friend, it seems people only know how to harm and destroy, im telling you if we chose to love people and look after one another like we were meant to do then this world would be a much better place, writing this message makes me a little teary eyed because its coming from my heart, i just expect so much more out of people, i know what we're capable of and i know we can heal eachother if we just gave time and effort, and lifted eachother up instead of tearing eachother down.
