Does this only work for PC and not mac, because I am unable to open the .g3m file and it wont transfer text files. I bought the new CG50 but it is useless without the notes functionality.

Hi can u help me please , i have a problem in my fx-cg50 i reset my calculator by choosing initialize all so all my storge memory have no data when i enter memory and the Periodic table disappeared because there is no data in the calculator, i want to get back my storge memory files and the periodic table and the another files in th main data.
you saved my ass, works perfectly with casio fx-cg 20 if you just create the PROGRAM folder =D
works on all casio graphing calculators that have a USB output. even the ones without led screens. like in my case the fx - 9750GIII
what connection mode did you use, I don't see USB flash

This won't work with the fx 83 gt plus model since there's no external ports :-(

Is it possible to add folders? That way you can sort your text files more effectively. Tried myself but i couldn't get it to work.
No you can't, the programs folder is for programs but I just put games in it lol.

yo michael, i have windows 10 and casio fx cg 20, i connected the usb to my calculator and pc, the calculator recognized it and i pressed f1, but my pc doesnt show a new drive, just my harddrive and ssd. can you help me?
Try another computer. Or go to device manager and click on tools and scan for new hardware

I mean if you just want to add a text file to it you can use a g2e online converter and find it in e-activity when you drop it on the calculator

well since its a program, you can write them in text editors too.

I have the @mainmen folder, but not the program folder. How do I create a folder and add text file
Dina Lassere Right click and then click new, and the folder. Once the folder is created simply right click and click "new text file" like shown in the video.

Kate Spade Did you do the first step? Enter USB Flash Mode? If you did and it still is not there then try just creating the program folder and adding a text file into it.

I downloaded the fx manager from the Casio website I can write programs on there but then I don’t know how to transfer programs to the calculator

I tried it on my fx cg50 and it works fine. I did exactly as in the video only that I had to create the "PROGRAM" folder myself with the computer before adding the file. Everything else worked like in the vid.
Oh and the file name cant be longer than 8 letters I came up with by myself. @@timva895

My country has no strict regulations regarding use of calculators in exam plus the examiners in most exam hall won't even recognise if a calculator is programmable or not but only if my broke ass could afford it would be lit to take one into the exam
