I'm glad I found your podcast! I enjoyed this episode, and I 'm looking forward to the next one too!
So glad you found the podcast and enjoyed the episode! That really means a lot to me 🧡. I’m excited to share the next one with you!
Your Darling cardi is beautiful. Its a really nice colour. I just checked out the pattern and it looks like you made it more fitted and used a lighter weight yarn. That's a talent I don't have.
Thank you! Yes, like I mentioned in the video, if I could go back, I’d start the first button a little further down, which would’ve made them closer together. I actually unpicked it stitch by stitch and redid it once already 😅 so I’m happy to leave it as is now-I can live with it!
Your cardi is lovely on you! Yes. I feel the same about buttons. The size and how many. I just bought some that are 1 inch. Black with silver glitter. I am knitting a cardigan but I dont these buttons will work for it. I think only knitters would understand wanting to find a pattern and yarn to match the buttons and then making the garment for the buttons. Feel better and happy holidays.
Thank you so much! I’m happy to know I’m not the only one who overthinks buttons! Your black buttons with silver glitter sound gorgeous-I’m sure you’ll find the perfect project for them. And you’re so right about only knitters planning a whole garment around the buttons-it gave me a good laugh because it’s just so true. Happy knitting and happy holidays!
Lovely cardigan and hat, and that colour is divine! I've been craving some pink accessories for winter, so I might have to copy that yarn combo :)
Thank you so much! Pink really does brighten up those chilly winter days. There’s something so satisfying about working with a color that makes you smile. And the yarn combo so warm and soft :)
Hi I am currently knitting the 6th Darling Cardigan. 3 have been for myself and 3 are gifts for my friends. Its such a nice and easy pattern and suits everyone. I think after finishing the current one in a colour of 1 strand red mohair and one strand of rasberry i will knit myself one in winter grey. As said i am really into this pattern of kutovakika😅
Wow, six Darling Cardigans! That’s amazing-your friends are so lucky to receive them as gifts. The red mohair and raspberry combo sounds stunning! You must be a real expert at this pattern by now. I’ve been thinking about making another one too, but in a bigger size. The one in the video has less positive ease because I wanted it to go with dresses for the warmer months, but I’d love to try one with the full positive ease like the pattern examples 😊
Such a beautiful cardigan you are wearing!
Thank you! I really enjoyed knitting it. I love the color-it’s definitely the brightest piece in my wardrobe now!
You will have plenty of yarn for your socks 😊
Ahh, that’s so good to know! I actually drove past my yarn shop today and almost went in to grab another skein. Thanks for letting me know 😊
Your sweater is beautiful. The colour looks amazing on you and, the combination of yarns adds such great dimension. I’m looking forward to seeing your husband’s finished sweater. It’s 845 on Dec 23rd where I am and I just cast on a Christmas gift for my neighbour. No pressure, right?
Thank you! I love how the color came out-it was so fun to knit. I’m cramming in some finishing touches on both gift knits too. Casting on a Christmas gift on the 23rd is bold-I have no doubt you’ll pull it off! You’ve got this, and those hands definitely deserve a well-earned rest afterward 🧡
