To catch the underwater cheating they would need only underwater cameras. No need for splicing on the above-water action, because the swimmers don't try to harm each other above water where everyone would see it.

slumnote golf is a sport. It takes so much skill to play at the level in which the pros play. It takes so much strategy. You have to plan every shot. You have to know how hard you need to hit the ball and find where you want it to land. It is a sport.
I remember seeing that camera filming people just normal swimming during synchronised swimming training. My Dad once had to tell the guy running it to take it off charge because if the cable touched the water it could’ve electrocuted people in the pool which I was one of. 😬😬
The camera water dome does the same job.. (like gopro dome). Maybe a bigger dome like 1meter to avoid waves problems on surface... but ok if we have to put the money somewhere why not :-P

I'm watching documentary "Perfect" about Canadian Team. All they have it's an Asian coach screaming at them. They lost and concluded that they didn't win because politics of the sport. They got beaten by Spain btw.
