    The Aquamaids & The Aquanuts should be a movie. The story told about how one woman went to the other team to learn how to become a champion, how she went back home with that knowledge, just trying to imagine that conversation, "Yeah, thanks for the wins. Going home now." And that competitive friendship of two ladies through all those years... This is downright heartwarming. Somebody call Hollywood!

    I am on a synchro team and I like that people are showing the hard work it takes to be one a lot of people say it is not a sport but they have not tried it and if they did they would realize how big of a challenge it is

    You see, this is all great, but when could the US Olympic Synchro team ever beat Russia and Spain? I always wondered why on earth the US team could not excel in sychronized swimming. This sport is too concentrated in the SF Bay Area. It really, really needs to go national to recruit potential talents from the East Coast, the South, and the Midwest.

      Probably sunscreen, they spend most of their time in an outside swimmingpool. It's required for people with less melaninto use protection to avoid red burned skin.

      Zinc basically sun screen

    • @cactuscat1367
      @cactuscat1367 5 лет назад

      Sunscreen, and probably some kind of cream to protect the skin. As a synchronized swimmer myself, the chlorine and sun damage your face, so it’s probably some form of protection.

    • @oliviazhu3739
      @oliviazhu3739 3 года назад +1

      It's called zinc.
      we usually use baby rash cream because its pretty thick and it has a large percentage of zinc (which is basically sunscreen).
      the thickness of the zinc helps because it doesn't come off during the long hours of our practices.
