I never realised that they managed to get such large jumps by having someone upside down pushing up... life changing
It's not to hard until you have to push them up so you go down:)
Even the jumping into the water is majestic...

This is perfect, a amazing Olympic team dancing to a amazing band. AC DC only have 1 original band member left and are still going super well.

Iyanu Olayimika At that time, Cliff and Brian had retired, Phil has legal issues, and Malcolm retired in 2014 and died in 2017. However, the band recently got back and recorded with the surviving Back in Black lineup, with Stevie Young in the place of Malcolm.
Has been 10 years and I still remember this epic performance every time I hear thunderstruck 💖
Fun fact, Tarren Otte was my year 4 school teacher. No one cares, but its still cool

olivia bourne We have underwater speakers, and we use scalling arms and eggbeater kick to keep us above the water :)

I swim laps and the synchro team practices at the same time and I can hear their music underwater 😂
I figured they just count and stay in time, I wouldn't have thought they'd need to hear anything, although they probably can anyway even without underwater speakers or something.
LaraD When I do a routine I count and also listen to music so I can figure out when to do things
I’m not as good but I’m on the 13-15 team and I’m 11 and do synchronized swimming
I'm 11 and I'm still novice. I did start a few months ago tho

Aren't the girls meant to be a bit more graceful when they land after those jumpy throwy cheerleady type moves? They kind of looked like they were just flopping down in the middle of a twist or whatever.

Because it fits with the music and theme of the routine. This is no graceful music!
I wish I could do that all I can do is make the Oklahoma 13-14 year olds state time in the 200 breaststroke. And I'm only 12. lol doesn't mean I can swim with them. 😂

Well if it was called trying to swim to acdc in a disappointing way then that would be fine ..but it's says.. "synchro".. plus you put to many r's on your Grr!

BUT synchronised swimming is one the hardest disciplines there is. You have to be super cardio fit, be a trained gymnast, a good swimmer, a dancer, and able to hold your breath for two lengths of the pool in training, They were actually a Grrreat (lol)team it was just too fast, and poorish choreography. Now back to the serious stuff shall I book the church?! 👰🎩💕💕🙃🧐🤨
