I give you credit, most you tubers would edit that out. By leaving it in, it acts like a public service ad and shows us you're legit. Thank you for your honesty.
I know this is old but thanks for the laugh. I see many stadium chair mods but all I do is put a portable square float cushion down with scupper plugs in just the rear holes. The plastic seat clips will wear out but there are aluminum upgrades that won't.
I love your mods. I put a set of outriggers on my 15 foot canoe. Followed your instructions. They work amazing. God bless you an your family. Your new subscriber from Canada.
When I hit the water my mind told me to get out. I was thinking about snakes I guess . I got excited..😂 But I should have..Thanks for watching… God bless
Thank you so much for doing that. I wanted to see what it would do if you pulled up on one of them while you were in it. That answered my questing thanks
When he decided to make his seat sit up higher, I thought to myself, "WHY would you want that?" It surely would make it top heavy...and so he found out.
please look up what center of gravity is. by building your heavy wooden chair so high, you raised the center of gravity by a lot. now all the weight; you and all that wood are well above the water line. more weight than your very narrow and light craft needs.
what really prompted you to pull out that pin ??? especially with the extra weight you just added. don't put ideas on that kayak anymore, you are going to hurt someone by trying it.
They will know not to do it. I was going to extend the float and it flipped over with me. Don’t try it for it will flip you as you saw in video...I learn lesson......
Yes Sir, with the outriggers it’s easy to stand but you do need to be aware that you can flip it. Thanks for watching. I would not stand in this kayak without the outriggers. Maybe some day we will get bigger ones. The stand-up kind. Longer and a little more width. Thanks
@@hungrydad7537 yes Sir I was not expecting that to flip up with me. My wallet and everything was soaked.....should have had life jacket on. Thanks for your watching.
Pulling the pin flipped me when the outrigger flipped to the top of the water. But it’s not bad with the outriggers down in the water. We will do a test latter to see how much it takes to flip it,,,, son-in-law not me. Lol God bless.
This stuff is on 90 % of the ponds in our area carried by ducks. I got rid of it once, but came back a year latter. It’s called duck weed, and is good for gardens, it’s full of nitrogen. This stuff grows 25% a day once it starts. God bless have a great week.
I had that on my pond and 2 things worked real good on it, one was expensive the other cheap. Cheap is get some Blue Tilapia fish they love to eat it and then you'll love to eat the fish. The other was a chemical that's fish safe, sonar was the brand name and a small bottle was expensive but it did wipe out the duckweed.
We had to run our arms through the port holes from the back not very hard. That is if you are talking about mounting the seat down to Kayak. Thanks for watching.

Yeah I was not thinking when I pulled the pin and that float flipped out of the water ….I learn the hard way…😂…Thanks for watching. God bless…
The real deal. You're right it's hard to find videos of the mods in action. God bless you and yours. From your new subscriber in Texas
Thanks for your sub... God bless. And watching.

Thank you for sharing your message. God bless
Not a bad seat mod at all. Thanks for the safety lesson. Glad everything turned out alright!
Thanks for viewing
Great video. Why didn't you grab onto the floating kayak and pull it in?
When I hit the water my mind told me to get out. I was thinking about snakes I guess . I got excited..😂
But I should have..Thanks for watching… God bless
Thumbs up on this one! This one will be a classic! Love what your doing with modifications! Keep up the good work! God Bless!
Thank you and God bless.
Thank you so much for doing that. I wanted to see what it would do if you pulled up on one of them while you were in it. That answered my questing thanks
3 years later and still a great video. How tall did you make that box?
Around 9 inches I think...... thanks for comment
Now THAT's quality entertainment right there.
It was entertaining right into the water. Amazing how things happen when you least expect it %. Thanks for watching....!
Extend out the length of your outrigger another 12 inches. The wider span will make it more stable.
When he decided to make his seat sit up higher, I thought to myself, "WHY would you want that?" It surely would make it top heavy...and so he found out.
Yeah I did…lol. Thanks for watching….
You guys do great work, always enjoy tuning in
Thank you Sir. Never try what I did in the water by pulling pin on outrigger to adjust or it will flip.
Have a blessed day.
Thank you for showing this it happens quick.
Thank you for watching.
Man you swam like the alligator was after ya. Good learning experience. Glad it was not winter.
Ive seen big snakes in the pond, tried hard to get out.
Your videos are very educational. Good job, I hope you found your hat.
Yea I did find it when I went back out. Lost my reading glasses and wallet was soaked. Wallet 8.00$ at dollar store
His buddy sit there and filmed him! Im dieing!
Next video is gonna be how to lower your kayak seat. :-P
i’m not sure if i can build that but i’m gonna get one of those stadium seats and have my dad help me buil them
Take your tome and figure it out as you go. God bless
It was a good video my friend me and my wife liked it we're laughing hard as hell good video though props my friend
That seat is wayyyyy to high brother…please be careful!!!
How did you get the washers and nuts on those bolts?
We ran our arms through the hatch holes.
Glad your alright always wear ur pfd ya need to practice flipping the yak back over an reentry in deep water.they look pretty stable
Amen brother. You got that right.
You need to extend the floats further out or get bigger floats.
Yes you can extend them or buy bigger floats. These help out a lot. God bless
Keep up the great work. Your mods are awesome and your videos are great. Thank u
Thank you...God bless.
Yes! Great true video. Thanks. Can my wife try you're kayak?
Does the bolt on the first board have a nut on the underside?
Yes I think what you are asking it does.
please look up what center of gravity is. by building your heavy wooden chair so high, you raised the center of gravity by a lot. now all the weight; you and all that wood are well above the water line. more weight than your very narrow and light craft needs.
Yes we have taken off the box but it was not to bad. Just extra weight not really needed. But it did work. Thanks for your response. God bless.
Just hope theres no alligators in that water lol
Just a snake or 2…🏃😂
Yo my dog you forgot the kayak LOL
A few sterile carp would help eliminate that greenry on your pond.
I’ll check that out…
Keep it up man your great!
Just the wood piece would be better seat than a stock one
I agree....thanks for watching...!
Your kayak floats, you should've just grabbed onto it.
You are so right, I should have.
Well except for the gators. I expect people from those parts know to get out of the water as fast as they can. Most likely ingrained as a kid.
😂 that’s awesome, nice seat & nice video
Thanks for reply.
If you made the pontoons another foot farther out apiece, you kayak would be much more stable. Those look almost useless that close to the kayak!!!
Great video
Thanks for checking us out. God bless.

Os estabilizadores têm que ser mais afastados.
should put some silicone on the thread of the bolts
Silicone works wonders.
Nice set up but now your center of gravity is alot higher. Be careful man.

Cant swim, dont go near water....#rodneyking ✊
I don’t blame you for that. Scary thing when you can’t swim and get over your head. I done that years ago.
@@attechoutdoors5893 For real though the video is a good example for people just getting into it to see the possible pitfalls.

That’s what I thought...hehe
That damn hillbilly music...and hillbilly know how.
Thats very unstable 😆
Yes sir when you pull the pin out and try to adjust in the water. Hehe....
Way too top heavy
