Riot is definitely late to the party tbh, and ML will definitely stay and both will be competing probably for a long time. ML has basically become a household name in the Philippines. If you were a filipino, theres a chance your dad your uncle, your aunt has been playing it. But even if they havent theyll definitely have heard of it, because of how popular it is in SEA region. And we all know that the main reason ML is so popular cuz again Wild Rift is late to the party, where as back then mobile gaming was popping off due to the simple fact most people had a phone, and did not have a computer. And in the philippines mostly cuz most filipinos have a love for MOBAs, (since DOTA) and trends always spread like wildfire in PH so put that two and two together and it ended up having a rip off to make lots of money. So that platform barrier was a big problem I guess. But anyways yeah thats me speaking for my country, and tbh ML can be fun, when your playing it with family, and not getting toxic teammates and toxic enemies and being hardstuck EPIC V for a year, lmao.
Yeah exactly, if wild rift was released earlier, no one would give a shit about the Chinese knockoff of it, sad that tencent actually asked riot to make a mobile version but they rejected it, until ofc they saw ml lmao
@@FISHZ16.6 If you noticed what happened, when WR was nearing its release, tons of free content were available that is very unusual for Moonton. The quality and price are so different from othr games, you need to spend like thousands to get 1 rare skin that looks really good. Those skins that they gave away because they are "generous" is because its holiday season. The whole year they gave like 1-2 skins that looks shit. That's the event you get from the game, not until wild rift is released. After i quit the the game for wild rift, they gave away fcking epics skins for the cost of 1 diamond, at least its good for the loyal players for the game, they got rewarded. To give you an idea how big it is in South East Asia, League of Legends has an average of 4.2million daily concurrent players world wide, while Mobile Legends averages 7.1million in total. The whole population of Philippines and Indonesia basically plays it.

@@lokanantazain tbf them trying to rival league in NA is like league trying to rival ML in SEA. This'll fail terribly and NA representative won't even make it to semis.
@Matt if that's the case, Wild Rift itself is doomed from the beginning. they barely maintain in SEA region because of ML and the West really hate mobile gaming that Wild Rift might not get the playerbase they wanted.
Nobody to blame but the devs themselves honestly.. they made a lot of questionable choices like implementing talents, removing the skin card system, and weird business decisions

As an ex-mlbb player, i could say that trying to market lol wild rift to Asia was really hard, especially to Indonesia and Philippines. If they finally succeed, their profit would be really big, but also, I don't think mlbb itself could just easly market their games to america and etc.So, both games have their own domination area. And they both would having a really hard time to take over the other area that has beeb dominated
Wildrift is losing players even in homd. PC gamers are not comfortable with mobile version. You will not want to play PC games in mobile. There is issues of compatibility.
@@riccardopilu4234+ a lot of players now have brand affinity. They're used to mlbb's style and speed, and are unwilling to have to adapt to wild rift's slower gameplay. Moreover, MOBA games are very much a social game to be played with friends, and if anyone in south east asia changed to wild rift most of the people they usually play with aren't following, so they end up staying in mlbb simply because thats where most of the players nearby them are. It would be pretty damn hard to pry entire friend groups off of mlbb all at once to move them to wild rift.
As an MLBB player, I kinda understand why ML is still popular. The most heroes are basically broken and can be played with minimal amount of skills while LOL is a much more complicated MOBA which will turn off casual players. Even with the amount of toxic players, it won't stop them because they know they will win at some point.
It is easier because it's not a TRUE Moba, it is more of a 5v5 battle royal, it have this same approach when you play brawl mode but the only difference is it have 3 lanes, and that is the reason why casual player, kids and noobs prefer MLBB because it is easy to play it lacks the complicated mechanics of a true Moba
You are missing the fact that in terms of gameplay mobile legends did a great job of optimizing MOBA for mobile platforms. They deserve a credit for this. Yes, stylistically it is a copy of lol, but Riot games entered the mobile market too late and their game is not that well adopted for mobile gaming with short sessions.
True, tencent ask riot to release lol on mobile. But they ignore. So tencent release KoG on china. And moonton take the chance to release mlbb on global market

Success of mobile legend and freefire in sea market showed that the game quality doesn't matter. For a game with plain ugly graphic, they are able to get attention because they are happened to be viral and have low phone spec requirement for poor users.
there is a couple more reason why people played that. Free fire is played by kids most of the time because it the easiest kind of br game. Pubgm doest give free aim assist like what they give on free fire. On ml vs others moba. The fact that ml already on the scene since the begining of mobile games(smartphone) 5 years ago make the player based already big. People played moba with friend and some people spend a lots of money for cosmetic. Changing to others so called better game(lolwr) make them need to grind back the hero and skin plus converting ur friend to played the game is a hard task. I end up playing mlbb back after 3 month playing lolwr alone without my go to squad. The gameplay pace and meta is soo different. it is easier to get snowball in lolwr because of the smaller maps(easier to gank). I preferred mlbb way of all hero is broken compare to lolwr which is u are fuck when u core shit.
@@azriqhaikalazahari7148 yeah after spending time and money on a moba its not easy to switch to a new one and start over as a beginner again unless wild rift makes some really great offers for starting players like some cheap or free starting packs I think mlbb has an advantage in that prospect also personally that I think mobas don't give the best noob friendly experience so going through all that learning phase again and being looked down on is kinda difficult until u can become actually good
In PH And Indonesia its really hard to break away the ML culture since of it's time spent and all the money invested into it. Also, why would. They switch to WR? If they switch, their friend group is still on ML and wont break until they pull each and one of them away from ML. The casual style of ML is what keeps it afloat by playing it every now and then since it's fast paced and usually ends around ~20 minutes in time.
I think the key point here is potencial. Riot is a juggernaut that could be out to dominate the market just like MLBB has done for a long time... but it has been slower than expected. Many content creators that switched right away to WR because of the foretold wave of players in this new game have now switched back to ML as the views decreased their numbers. Same with players that hoped for a similar casual experience in WR and found a slower, more calculated playstyle. After playing both games and liking them for different reasons, I can only hope for Riot to keep on their investment in the mobile MOBA market and improve their game; more champions, permanent ARAM and more. The buyer always win when companies compete for their attention and it has been long enough for ML to be without a rival (other mobile MOBAs, while good, can just dream of having the same amount of players). This goes beyond the discussion of "was MLBB a copy of LoL?" because everyone knows the answer to that and, thankfully, I can say the game has mostly grown out of that
the balls of riot games to call any moba a copy of there game and the big stinking balls to use annie as an example while literally annie is a copy of Warlock from dota what a joke lmao
most of the people i know deleted wild rift couple of months ago.. we try it for a a week but we all go back to the game we known the most we all dont give a damn about the lol experience.... we stuck with ML
God, this game is a hot mess. I played casually with my cousin on this (although he mostly played competitively in every match haha). I don't play as much anymore since my phone is busted and I'm not too eager to dip into a match with people being toxic. It's hard to establish camaraderie when almost everyone around you is saying "bobo Pharsa" while not actually doing any legwork themselves.
I love MLBB. I don't care its a shameless copy. They filled a demand for a mobile Moba. Riot only can blame themselves for taking so long. Plus now after 5 years the game feels like its own thing now.
Nope, Riot did nothing wrong. As a big company, they always have the power to take over the gaming market. By coming late, they can study the pros and cons of their compotitor and they can make a good strategy to beat the competitor. Also, if they start getting into mobile games in the beginning they would risk going into a market they never knew would work out. By letting other smaller developer building the mobile phone gaming community first, they can eliminate risk of needless failure. And now when they feel like the market is big enough, they can go into the market with solid srategy and starting to take over the market from the smaller dev.
@@Apiliar_bolapanas true that. And the proof of it is that the WR devs made Wild Rift a more player friendly game without inserting the gatcha or free to play elements found in ML. They made runes free instead of being locked through Magic Dust purchase, skins that aren't absurdly overpriced and doesn't have any of the stat attribute non-sense just like from ML and champs that can be easily bought if you played and invested long enough in Wild Rift unlike ML in which it would take you months to earn 32k BP to buy one ML hero, although the downside of WR is the long Ranked queue time for mid and high elo players.
One the reason why LOL hate MLBB is not just because of the copying but also because MLBB almost improved its skills of all LOL champion making them hard to improve their champions abilities so in other to remove that *Wall* that that making them having hard time to improve is constantly stoping MLBB for growing even more and wanted to completely nullified this *Wall* *A copy that surpassed its own original*
Biggest thing i didn't like when i tried lol: why is it so dark?! It's hard to see anything. Feels like it's always midnight. Also makes the mood and me feel so depressed.
Yeah ML started as a fangame, idk if you know supersmash bros fangames were Goku, Ichiho and naruto are included? Well ML had Po from Kung fu Panda, Dante form devil may cry, etc. Well all was a copy from other franchises lmao.
The reality most moba players just play casually during breaks from work or after work. Wildrift 's average game time is around 20-25mins meanwhile other mobas average 10-12mins. Not to mention the time for drafting. The time difference alone will turn off most of them. Like myselft, i played dota1, 2 and lol in my elem-college years and i don't have problem if the games took 1hr each but now as a working adult i just don't have the time. I felt the progress was slow when it comes to playing wildrift.
I played LoL for about 4 years (PC Version) while most of my friends played ML. And so I got interested and my friends introduced it to me. That's when I decided to quit LoL and continue ML since I just kept playing and got more interested. And then WR came out and I played a bit, it wasn't the same feeling as ML which was more relaxing and fast paced I just couldn't play LoL (WR) like before since I got so used to ML. And in my opinion Riot should've arrive earlier than Moonton in the mobile gaming market. Players nowadays will play ML more since its been years since they have played ML, plus they wont quit since they spent so much money on this game. If WR came sooner they could've destroyed ML and none of the drama could've happened. I mean the only reason why people are giving so much attention to ML because Riot released a new Moba game that's on mobile, they're only attentive now because ML grew larger than WR did and of course if you play WR you wouldn't want to see WR that has small groups of people.
I'm from Myanmar. I play both MLBB and Wild Rift. Nearly everyone plays Mobile Legends here. They know no other MOBAs than MLBB. So the community here is big. MLBB is beginner friendly, kid friendly and you can play casually. The girls who never play other games even play MLBB. You can even get a relationship playing game. For those reasons MLBB will still be the most played game in my region. Plus wildrift players are toxic. Whenever they play with new player, instead of teaching and warning, they keep insulting with strong language. It's all about community.
Ahh yes lets literally make a moba game a dating app aswell because why not? Atleast wild rift players doesnt trashtalk they're enemies when they have the upper hand
People kinda not putting in the factor that LoL mobile was requested long before ML was even a thing. Started since the release of KoG in China. We just can't get anything similar to LoL. So ML just eventually became the only option we had. Overtime, most just stuck with it like me plus with LoL (PC) fanbase keep raiding the community, a some sort of loyal fan base had been in placed ever since. The exclusivity thing tho, I heavily suggest going through What's The Meta's article as it is better documented. Edit: this comment section is more friendlier and civilised than I thought. *Sobs in happiness finally most understands the ML community feelings
Very well said my guy. Lol supporters don't understand we were forced to play mobile legends and have no idea how much different ml and lol actually are. And furthermore lol fans refuse to accept mobile legends place in The moba scene as if ml will dissappear one day..
I played the game and realized it's much more of a p2w game more than anything else. Griding champions, runes and the whole game feeling different (like having no real junglers) just make me quit. Wild rift being a really more chill and enjoyable experience
@@muff1nb0y46 I paid no attention to emblems. That's what it called. Only played as I do. The game is 5 years old and I've maxed out 3 years ago. I'm not as hard core as most did which some maxed in a year without paying anything. To call it pay to win is incorrect.
Although I'm not a big moba fan, I have played both MLBB and WR, and I got to say that I've had a better experience with MLBB. The one thing I really liked about it but I couldn't stand in WR is something as small as movement speed. In MLBB your movement speed is much faster than WR, and most characters in MLBB have some form of a dash move. This makes it to where games at most last 20 minutes with a lot of games in the higher ranks lasting only about 10-12 minutes. WR felt so slow in comparison that I got bored extremely quickly, also I didn't really like the muted colors.
You forgot to mention Wild Rift's failure in taking MLBB down or having any impact at all in the countries dominated by MLBB. Can't even name any country where WR is the top mobile MOBA since the Chinese counterparts (MLBB, HOK, AOV, etc.) are very dominating

The reason why ML is so popular in SEA is because, most of their players do not have high-end phones. To play Wild Rift, you have to have an above mid-range smartphone to completely enjoy the game whilst in ML, it can run on low-end phones and consumes less data. The matches in ML are quick, it’s easier to play and understand so it attracts casual MOBA players or even attracts people who do not even play video games, just because it’s so easy to play plus it’s fun. With all of this said, we’re all losers because we pay microtransactions in free-to-play games jk.
I don't think spec is the main core reason, it's all come to "first come, first serve" riot is way to late in the mobile market, player already spent their money in this game already and it is hard for them to change their thoughts to convert into another game
I'm an Indonesian myself, and in my country a lot of players insist on playing mobile legends because they already invested their money on that. Not to mention mobile legends gameplay is much simpler with a very unbalanced new hero that could easily do a 1v5 battle while the other 4 teammates afk-ing. I really hope Riot just topple Moonton from their seat and, hopefully, stomp them until they are aware of their place.
the "new hero is always op" is bullcrap. Lately, the new heroes (Aulus, Natan, Phoveus, & Gloo) are not that strong compared to older heroes. They have their own weakness that made them pretty much balanced (although there are so many unbalanced hero) Tapi gw setuju2 aja sih kalo LoL:WR jadi lebih rame
I've played LoL since 2014 and ML since 2016 and the reason why i still play is cause when ml released it was the only mobile MOBA back then and my PC even broke, i KNOW Moonton copied riot but ML gave me an option to play smth similar

As player of both League of Legends and MLBB (MLBB being very casually tho), I think the difference between the two games are quite significant now. I don't believe you can call MLBB a copycat anymore since their gameplay is quite different now. There is no denying that MLBB was VERY SIMILAR if not the same in the beginning (I believe, didn't really know about it when it first started), I think MLBB has made changes that makes themselves distinct, from aspects within laning, jungling, objectives, items, and teamfight. Furthermore, new released heroes are nothing like LoL heroes anymore I believe, and I am quite surprised with some of the original mechanic that they have introduced. Let's be honest, LoL in the early years feel quite similar to DoTA with how "mana" was a big deal back then, etc. However, now you feel very different gameplay between both games. I think the biggest issue was LoL started as a passion project, while MLBB started as a money maker (and it still is tbh, which is why while I can back MLBB in term of it as a game, I can't support it as a business and haven't pay a cent for the game yet)
In one of political topic here in RUclips, a quote of US defense ministry was right all along - "US companies let themselves clouded by their own achievements and success over the past few years, because of it they stop expanding, they stopped innovating, and most let others catch up behind them..." he said. This MLBB Vs LOL situation is no different albeit w/ different results depending on locations. Riot still at heart an American company despite that their shares are almost fully owned by a Chinese company. What I'm saying is they have live in a strong mantra of "If ain't broke, don't fix it.". They think PC gaming is still relevant for next year's to come, money always flows passively through their success and thinking their own self is the only ones they could beat and everything was just irrelevant topic. Their arrogance and the elitism mindset of their community (leading to keeping the good stuffs to themselves instead of expanding it in an inclusive level) is their own Trojan horse.
Tbh I play both wr and ml because they have different I guess playstyles? Ml is focused on carries where every game each team will always have at least one player that will get super strong, and wr is more focused on team fighting and farming. Kinda sus posting this video as well as thescore at the same time. Maybe because i have heard that Moonton is doing MPL qualifiers in NA hosted by a big name from Dota. Hmmmm
I'd like to talk about another MOBA that is launching on mobile: Pokemon Unite. Some people from the west didn't get why Nintendo dipped their hands on the genre, their POV is too narrow to realize that people in SEA region for example have smartphones instead of having PCs and consoles. People will spend here money to buy smartphones over consoles because it's more practical here to have a multifunctional tool like a phone over a console. Not everyone here can afford a PC right now with the current pricing and economy.

I feel like Riot hit all the right buttons for what a GREAT MOBA GAME SHOULD BE, but missed some points on what a MOBILE game should be. People want a competitive environment, that's true, but in mobile games, pacing is important. A huge chunk of mobile gamers are busy doing something else. Riot focused more on competitiveness rather than pacing. Most Wild Rift players are either teenagers, or people younger than 30. In other words, people that have a lot of time in their hands. Why? Because of the pacing. Most of the working class prefer a faster pace due to their busy schedule. I myself am a father of 2 kids, has a job as an executive assistant to the director of our company, and also host a youtube channel, Wild Rift is amazing as a game in general, but does it appeal to a wide audience? It does, but not as much as ML. A regular game in WR will take between 20 to sometimes even 40 minutes to wrap up, while ML takes between 9 to 30 minutes. You may think eh, it's just a 5 to 10 minute difference, well, imagine you only having 1 hour a day to play because of your other responsibilities, how many games can you play? Probably 1 to 2 for WR. With ML, 1 hour will get you 2 to 3 games especially when you get to the higher ranks where people focus more on strategy and winning the game fast same as how Heroes of the Storm is played. Basically what happened is, a huge chunk of the playerbase in WR are already League fans, while in ML, a lot of them were not even MOBA players to begin with. That's how perfect ML was on the mobile platform. Is ML a better game in general? Definitely NOT! Is it a fun game though? Yes it is. And let's face it, most people aren't after the bragging rights, a lot of them are just after the fun. They want to let out some steam and chip off a few minutes during their break time, or while their kids are asleep, etc. Competitively, content-wise, and quality, definitely WR is amazing! Since VG is gone, it's safe to say that this is now the best mobile MOBA, can it defeat ML in the market though? I doubt. Chances are, both games will remain for a very very long time. And who knows, in the future, Tencent might be able to finally buy Moonton(Tencent placed a bid to buy Moonton with the intent of turning it to Riot 2.0 but lost to Bytedance), and we might just have the WR x ML game that will surprise the world.
@@niklasajoh I think it has something to do with the rank, on lower to mid ranks based on my experience it is between 15 to 20 with a higher kill count, but the higher you go it tend to stretch longer. It is true that the designs and skills were almost the same from other heroes. There are heroes in LOL that copied ML? Like Rell and Leomord, because of the horse riding mode. So if LOL does it, it was inspired but if ML does it, it is a copy? i hate how biased the documentary is. Sooo good vs bad, black or white.

They're really want to have a strong foothold in SEA but forgetting other regions. For me as a player of both games, I'm happy with it. Ironically, in China Riot Games have the full backing of Tencent, Tencent will absolutely destroy Mobile Legends so their own IP can succeed, and Tencent/Riot Games still fight this vicious court battle with Monntoon in China till this day. I am happy Mobile Legends do well in many regions, Riot Games should NOT have MONOPOLY over the MOBA. Riot Games first fight will not actually be in SEA, but in China where the market there will determine the fate of both MOBAs. Mobile Legends is actually a competent MOBA, whether you like or not. It was designed and heavily improved upon, optimized as short, fast battles with responsive controls on a touchscreen.
Bytedance, the company owning tiktok bought the game and is in charge of marketing while moonton, the company that made it is still the developer so this partnership might actually have a chance to compete but wild rift is also steadily growing players so its still tough to see who is going to win in a few years from now

Wr is just destroying other peoples dedecation to the game Mobile Legends. As a philipino that has been grinding everyday it just hurts when people talk down on Ml as just a super copy of its "orginal" counter part. This is a more easier way to play a moba than wr bc there are too many technical things on wr that just wont be as fun as ml. And also. The moonton team is actually giving better service to its community, and their balancing issus got better over time. And thats all that i can say about this. Im really not that great at english so.. thank you for reading my small rant.
I've had Mobile Legends for a few years now and I can honestly say that I enjoy the game. It's a copycat of LoL, but it's just too damn fun. Sometimes copying is good. Don'tfix what's not broken.

MLBB is basically a brawl mode with 3 lanes, like a battle royal type of match. Yes MLBB is easier but not better because MLBB lacks so many mechanics like wave management, trading, CS and many more, you are used to playing 15-20 minutes brawl like matches of pure chaos and carnage while having 0 mechanics to actually play. In LOL 15-20 minutes is just the end of the laning phase. In short MLBB is a game of guess where everything Is guess due to it's lack of mechanics, if you guessed right then you are rewarded but if you guessed wrong then you are punished, that's why one good/dumb teammate have a lot of effect on flow on the match, one good teemate can carry the game all by himself while one dumb teamate can easily drag his whole team down, in LOL it doesn't matter if the player is good because he still needs items to start carrying the game, that is why it is called a 5v5 mobs because you need your team to win the game. LOL and WR is an actual chess match due to its complicated mechanics, to the point that a good placement of a single ward can mean life and death or a single minion can win you the lane and many more stuff that ML players don't understand because like I said ML is basically a brawl mode with 3 lanes they are used to that battle royal type of match, That's why MLBB is more fun for kids like you and for the noobs ones because the learning curve to actually play the game is so low compared to LOL and WR learning curve where it is steap due to its complicated mechanics.
Do you think Mobile Legends has the staying power to compete with WIld Rift or is Riot Games a few years too late to the party?
WR Has potential to win on Other Regions, not in SEA.
Riot is too late. Us who plays wild rift are just gonna be a minority now, my country is literally addicted to ml, fookin hell
I'm just happy I can play league while shitting in the toilet.
Wild rift will never be more popular than ML, at least here in SEA.

there is a couple more reason why people played that. Free fire is played by kids most of the time because it the easiest kind of br game. Pubgm doest give free aim assist like what they give on free fire.
On ml vs others moba. The fact that ml already on the scene since the begining of mobile games(smartphone) 5 years ago make the player based already big.
Even without the money spent people wont play lolwr its boooooring

Considered how much money did I spent on this game.I guess I didn't care of other mobas to begin with.

LoL (WR) like before since I got so used to ML.

For those reasons MLBB will still be the most played game in my region. Plus wildrift players are toxic. Whenever they play with new player, instead of teaching and warning, they keep insulting with strong language. It's all about community.

@@QuestionableLogic_ it's for the teen rating in China. But yes, Riot could've done a better job

So I think your the biased here because you are saying documentary is biased but your only playing ML
Yeah, but there's also heroes in ml that has a vastly different skill mechanics like gusion and fanny.
League of Legends : you can copy the form, but not the essence
Mobile Legends (Valentina style) : you think so? But no
lmao
lmfao moneyton is literally Valentina in a nutshell
Poor Mobile Legends. The only you can hear for westerners here in RUclips is only "Copying" and "Suing" or "Filing Lawsuit" issues videos. No MLBB's hero review, mechanics nor updated with their new event documentary videos. So sad :'(
Was very hoping on that but well, we are what we are
Welp atleast they got a huge playerbase
On moonton birth day in china Bytedance ceo give a speech , in that speech he said aiming for global gaming So that means you can see lot of improvements in out Sea region after M3
I hope AFTER YIN IS RELEASED NO MORE OF THIS COPYING BULLCRAP. THEY ENDED 2021 WITH A COPYCAT HERO THEY STARTED 2022 WITH A COPYCAT HERO. AFTER THAT, pls no more...
It's not only in Indonesia, moonton already did that in the Philippines with nexplay esports and among other mobile esports. They're really want to have a strong foothold in SEA but forgetting other regions. For me as a player of both games, I'm happy with it. Competition brings growth and moonton did a ton of changes with how they create heroes which is really refreshing and rito needs to step up their game if they wanna keep and bring back those league players to wildrift
Nah, Nexplay WR disbanded coz they didn't qualify for the Fall season. Check their page, I think they are recruiting for players. They even have a female team for Wild Rift.
Riot keep sueing moonton but did not make game for mobile sooner.. now they are too late to joining mobile division. Nothing can be do, I tried WR but my taste is still MLBB and plus all my friends love MLBB too
ML sure is unbalanced but it's much easier to play also it's gameplay is pretty decent

Bytedance, the company owning tiktok bought the game and is in charge of marketing while moonton, the company that made it is still the developer so this partnership might actually have a chance to compete but wild rift is also steadily growing players so its still tough to see who is going to win in a few years from now
Update: mlbb still dominant in sea and growing in other regions, while wildrift closed rheir esports outside asia and many teams in sea are leaving

I would love to see a video about Wild Rift's older brother: Arena of Valor/King of Glory/Honor of Kings.
Arena of Valor has a decent start in the Philippines but the company that took care of it in Philippines which is Garena has to minimize
@@jtaggueg Riot's action regarding Tencent creating AOV and to the extension HOK plays a bigger role why AOV fell behind and MSP server of AOV got compromised. That time, Moonton wasn't the only one who got sued by Riot, their own boss Tencent got sued as well for creating a LOL-formulated MOBA without them; because of it Riot agreed with Tencent that they give a second chance to create LOL mobile (and this is back in 2017 the same year of Moonton lawsuit) but in exchange tenceny will stop the marketing of AOV globally until WR goes fully global (except those where AOV is more popular like in Vietnam and Thailand server); that is the main reason why AOV in MSP went full silent in marketing.
@@punkmaster258 Wow, that's really sad. The game itself isn't bad, it just doesn't have much marketing and good monetization methods... Too bad Riot was the responsible for such things.

In indonesia, as a young male, playing mobile legends is basically a social point boost cheat code here. U can connect easily with anyone bcs almost everyone (children-young adult demographics) plays that game.
And as a girl, you can boost your popularity among guys just by playing mobile legends as most of them most likely plays or have played the game.
Instantly wild rift is a hit, not in the region where mlbb was already famous tho

So many great things about wr, from cheap skin price, amazing animation, beautiful ui, but to be honest, gameplay in ml is more fun than wr.
It's pay to win with their skin. That's for business, not gaming. So, it's horrible. Even their skinline is terrible. They just 'collaborate' with big franchises and lock them behind $500 gacha. i'll name a big powerhouse for Mobile Gaming:

-Brazil
-South Asia
-CIS
yet most of this region except for SEA has began developing Mobile Legends more, in fact in Brazil itself their second most played game genre is Moba and the leading is Mobile Legends for now. and no we're not gonna see the crazy hype just like in SEA in other West region, yet they can dominate the Mobile market there. also Moonton has a bigger advantage when Bytedance just acquired the company with 4 billion usd in total. in the recent NA Qualifier for M3, even slacks and cap cast that 'ripoff' game.
wildrfit will do their thing and ml will do their thing but remember dont expect the same hype ML getting after leading the mobile moba market
also fun fact, the Indo ladies tournament alone got the highest viewed game surpassing Valorant in the west. can't underestimate the game, and this creator really pointed out 'copy gonna have a hardtime beating original'. literally came from a game who copied Dota in first place

Thats why you use teamwork, ml heroes can literally 1v5 the enemies thats why wild rift is better they dont have op items and heroes/champs
@@ibangeverything902 no hero in mlbb that can 1 v 5
MLBB is basically a brawl mode with 3 lanes, like a battle royal type of match. Yes MLBB is easier but not better because MLBB lacks so many mechanics like wave management, trading, CS and many more, you are used to playing 15-20 minutes brawl like matches of pure chaos and carnage while having 0 mechanics to actually play. In LOL 15-20 minutes is just the end of the laning phase.
In short
MLBB is a game of guess where everything Is guess due to it's lack of mechanics, if you guessed right then you are rewarded but if you guessed wrong then you are punished, that's why one good/dumb teammate have a lot of effect on flow on the match, one good teemate can carry the game all by himself while one dumb teamate can easily drag his whole team down, in LOL it doesn't matter if the player is good because he still needs items to start carrying the game, that is why it is called a 5v5 mobs because you need your team to win the game.
LOL and WR is an actual chess match due to its complicated mechanics, to the point that a good placement of a single ward can mean life and death or a single minion can win you the lane and many more stuff that ML players don't understand because like I said ML is basically a brawl mode with 3 lanes they are used to that battle royal type of match,
That's why MLBB is more fun for kids like you and for the noobs ones because the learning curve to actually play the game is so low compared to LOL and WR learning curve where it is steap due to its complicated mechanics.
