  • Dental Implants are some of the most amazing tools to transform a smile and deliver long term dental health and confidence. Dr. O walks through how this new 3D technology delivers a safer, healthier, and more attractive result that older implant placement techniques.
    The 3D Computer Guided Implant Placement process will change the way that you look at implants and oral surgery.
    During the implant consultation appointment, a 3D X-Ray is taken to asses the quantity, quality, and position of the bone necessary to place the implant post. A 3D Digital Impression is also taken of the area with the missing teeth to plan the position and size of the future implant crown. This allows us to perfectly place an implant in a fraction of the time without the need for a surgical incision. We do this using a digital guide that is milled out of a block of acrylic and it snaps into the teeth to control the placement.
    At Innovative Dental, we believe that everyone deserves the best care that is available. This is why we have invested in this technology for the benefit of our patients. Thanks for watching and keep smiling, it looks good on you!

      What is the cost for two front teeth replaced? Do I need added bone? One dentist told me that I did not need extra bone, while 2 other dentists said that I needed bone graphing. Who do I believe? Is the healing process much faster if I do not need to have bone grafting? What is the total price for each front tooth with and without bone grafting? Where do you get the bone from, should I need additional bone?

    I just got 3 very bad teeth removed and put bone grafts in place to prep for implants when they heal. I didn't realize that the implant process could be guess work for some and it made me look into my dentist a little more about the process she uses. I'm glad to know that she uses the same/similar method of guided implants along with digitally planning the procedure. Thanks for the info! I feel a lot more confident in my upcoming work.

    Hi Dr O, I absolutely love how you’re sharing your love and expertise of dentistry. The technology is amazing. I recently went to a dental practice here in New York where they had the same machine (for lack of a better word) that took a complete scan of your teeth while standing. They were able to do not just an x-ray but a complete CT scan which was extremely helpful in being able to share that scan with my primary dental office. It put the power in my hands to some extent to have said info available so no excuses could be given in regards to providing the best of care for myself. In this one video I learned even more than I had known. That “fully guided implant process” is by far beyond the imagination. You’re setting the bar for what great dentistry should look like and thank you for the passion you have. I’ve had 2 implants done already and I will say they were done very well by an experienced, caring dentist. I did though have a negative experience after having been told I needed a crown on a molar. They shaved down too far which caused me to be in extreme pain, that led to needing a root canal, etc, etc! Having the right dental practice is without saying one of the most important parts of total health care.

    Hi Dr O,
    My lower left central was overlapping my right lower central. When I was younger I fell and damage the root of my lower left central. I had a root canal done but it failed and the gums became an abscess. I had the overlapping tooth removed but the infection spread to my right lower central which forced me to have another root canal done due to medication not working. I had the abscess drained multiple times but it would come back. The abscess became a cyst. I was tired of coming in to drain my cyst so I had the tooth removed. So recently after 7 years of not having a tooth I decided to have a dental implant done on my lower right central with bone grafting. My question is will having lost my lower left central impact the success rate of the newly implanted tooth?

    Hello I have watched several of your videos and it seems you use the latest techniques and I was wondering if it would be possible to get bone grafting? I lost my teeth because of bone , due to my arthritis, my bottom jaw bone is nonexistent by that I mean it's down to a point where the skin from my cheek joins the bone. I cannot have a denture on the bottom there's no bone and on the top it's also about gone I have about an eighth of an inch of my top gum left. Just want to know if it's possible to get bone grafts and then implants? Would the bone graft be absorbed like the jaw bones were? I would love to get implants because they can't really eat with dentures there is not enough of the top jaw to securely adhere the top denture. Interested in what you think about this

    I'm missing 3 teeth, and I've had several consultations with different dentists. The consensus has been that there isn't enough room for dental implants and they have recommended a bridge. My concern is a bridge that would spans 8 teeth. I would much prefer the implants but the time in braces to widen to spaces and the cost is so intimidating.

    I first want thank you for the clear and detailed explanation of these services! I've been doing research for years on what I need and what I want as my teeth continually break off at the gum line They basically just like to break and fall out of my head :( A few causes including a medication I take and poor genes! It is very frustrating and discouraging when I do not have poor dental hygiene (actually the opposite trying to make up for the elements I can't control).
    I have gotten into a position now where I won't smile, cover my mouth a lot while talking, have trouble eating and the list goes on. And, I LOVE to smile. Well, I used to. This has affected my life on an every day basis and I'm hoping I can save some teeth if I start now. Sorry so lengthy but here are my inquiries. If the teeth are significantly chipped or broken from decay, is a Veneer still possible after removing decay? And, can veneers be placed over an existing bridge that is discolored? I have 4 teeth broken at gum line and have been for quite a while. So the gum basically has covered the hole or partially covered it with some decayed tooth fragments still remaining. (Yes, it is awful!). Would the root and bits of tooth need surgically removed at a different location before I could start work with you? Here are your thousand questions for the day ;)

    I lost my front tooth and had an implant put in last year. 7 months after the implant was put in, I got my crown and it’s uncomfortable, thicker than my other teeth in the back and I just hated the whole process. I’m so unhappy with my smile at my gumline.
    I have a gold base under my crown which I think makes a weird color. Is it nuts to ever want to replace this? Is that dangerous to remove from the front like this?

      @InnovativeDentalofSpringfield  4 года назад

      No I totally understand where you are coming from. That type of crown is called a captek. Not my fav. I really like monolithic materials like emax. They are very pretty and still strong. ;)

      Innovative Dental of Springfield if I were to replace someday, could I just have the gold captek one unscrewed and a new one put in its place without removing the actual implant from my bone?
      Your channel has been so educational and eases so much anxiety just to have knowledge. I feel like my dentist just keeps saying don’t worry and it will be fine which just makes me more worried instead of answering my many questions on how it all works. I wish you had these videos out years ago! I felt totally confused and uneducated on my crown even though I asked a lot of good questions.

    Very similar to way case. Currently have a severely broken tooth next to an infected root canal. Because of this my insurance won’t cover it. Any plans on doing another smile giveaway?😅

    I have never had a smile ever in my life. My teeth were ruined by tetracycline as a child, and I am very insecure of going to the dentist. I’ve been one time in my grown up years, but did not have a comfortable experienced. I really want to experience a nice smile, and I would love to eat my food with out the pain. Well my question is. Are there any banks or companies that can help me with the funds to have the smile that I need?

      You could take out a loan and go to turkey, Bulgaria or Costa Rica to get a full new smile. I don't know how your teeth look so a dentist should be able to tell you how much it costs.They also give out loans.

    Why two screws instead of one in this scenario?

    • @InnovativeDentalofSpringfield
      @InnovativeDentalofSpringfield  4 года назад +1

      2 reasons. The space would have required a massive molar that would have had a lot of off center forces while 2 allowed me to restore the space esthetically and with proper support for the individual teeth.
