Ahhh, I learned a quick tip about double clipping on the White and Black to expand the histogram. I've always been doing this manually. Even the smallest details matter. Thanks!
Good day Mr. Fuffo. I surely enjoy all your videos on Long exposure and editing in Lightroom. I've learned so much. I've put some of my photos on Facebook & getting great comments. Thanks.
I’ve learned more from a few of your videos than I have from several hours of sitting in a classroom! You always prioritize the essential elements and it’s easy to follow your moves through the editing panels. Thanks!
Literally finding all your videos so helpful - kept coming across them on RUclips and now I’ve subscribed I can’t stop watching them 😂 such a great and unique angle compared to so many of the other editing videos out there, great work and really refreshing!
You are the greatest man alive. Period. I've been into photography for over 10 years and I haven't improved my landscape techniques. Thank you for reviving my photography passion again. You deseve a million subscribers.
Great video series Attilio. I have been taking pictures in JPEG with my entry level DSLR for 4 years, and thanks to your videos I have switched to RAW and started editing the pictures, and I have to confess I am completely bluffed by the results! Keep up with the good work!
Attilio thank you there were couple new tips you shared witch are cool that I didn’t know after having Lightroom almost a year now. 1. Pulling up the left panel while getting your WB right with that little window. 2. Double tapping on whites and blacks to get your max Your the Home Run king like always out of the Park agin’ keep up the great work.
Just got home from Grand Canyon, first time shooting raw, was lost where to start in Lightroom and found these timely video's. Followed along and very satisfied with results. Can't wait for episode 3 to make it pop! Thanks for the wonderful tutorials.
If I can learn 1 new tip every video, my editing skills can only improve ... another great tutorial. Lightroom saved a few images today from a very wet , dull and gale-force windswept day in the Scottish hills yesterday .. bravo
Good advice. I didn't know you could use the shift key with the black and whites. I always just did it manually! Thanks for the tip. I like your video presentation a lot, and I really admire your style. I'd like to see more videos of you working on long exposures. Maybe discussing your setup, why you choose the scenes you do and so on. Thanks Attilio!
Excellent. Great workflow. Your tips have been working for me! I have friends that will sit on the computer with Photoshop for a long time to edit a picture. I don't care for long drawn out edits.
Excellent videos Mr Ruffo. Thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge and creativity with us. As a mainly Photoshop user, some areas of Lightroom always remained a mystery to me, however your tutorials have helped to increase my confidence in being able to utilize this fine set of tools.
Thanks Attilio, very much enjoying your videos and your photos too. I've used LR for some time but I'm getting some very useful tips that I'm putting to use. One question or comment, I notice you don't often use the Dehaze slider. I find I use it a lot. I have to make sure not to use it too much but a common thing for me to do is to slightly or moderately increase Dehaze then, by a similar amount decrease Clarity. I don't always do this but find this gives many of my landscapes the pop and a slightly ethereal effect that I like. I'd be interested in your thoughts on the use of Dehaze.
Superb channel! The best videos / channel for landscape photography, gear overview, etc. I have found so far. I really enjoy the way you are expressing yourself - easy to follow, enjoyable to watch. Benchmark for others. After using PS for over ten years (matter of habit ;-) ), I have started to discover the "LR world". Thanks to you. Looking forward for next videos. Highlight of the week ;-)
Thanks a lot for the useful information...I would like to ask you if you keep " Long exposure noise reduction" ON or OFF, specially during the time when light changes very fast.
Thanks a lot for your great Videos. I like the way you give us so many informations and useful tipps. You are very carmly and charming in your clips. Greetings from Germany🙋🏻♂️ and thank you very much
How do you handle long exposure noise. do you use in camera noise reduction or a dark frame?? what do you do in post to reduce the effects of very long exposure??
Great video, thanks for sharing your knowledge and insights. I liked how you choose to segment the process into 3 unique but linked videos. It makes the information more digestible. Currently I use a d7200 but I am considering buying a used d700 or d800 for landscapes since they are affordable and are probably a good introduction into full frame cameras. Looking forward to seeing video #3 and then I need to get out and shoot some landscapes if the rain ever stops in New England.
Excellent as always. I am currently using Luminar for editing in my attempt to avoid the Adobe subscription, but there is no doubt that LR, which I still have on my computer, is king.
Very good video, again... Thank you. Looking forward to the next one. The inspiration you give us and the explanation and know how we get from your video's is great. Gives you the urge to shoot and edit great landscape photos, where is my Nikon and my filters... :-)
Great video as always Attilio, do you have any tutorial on how do you prepare or resize your pictures for printing on photoshop or LR? Like let’s say you want to print an image like 24 x 36 etc. will be great sometimes when I need to print an image I don’t want to crop it I find myself very confused when it comes to resize images on photoshop. Grazie mille!

Attilio, your adjustments are always simple to the point of being elegant...thanks for all the insight!! I was wondering why you do not use the Nikon ViewNX software which retains all the color of the original capture...vs adding it back in via LR. Can you really add all that data back in without any loss to the original image??
Thanks Harold! and I use LR as I find it very easy to use...I don't think there is any data loss, the raw file is imported in the same way, no matter which software you use...
@@AttilioRuffo Thank you for the response!! Its hard to argue with the results of your editing, which are world class, but you do get a head start with all the original data embedded in the original file...unless you do not use any in-camera profiles...then I suspect the starting point would be the same...thoughts??

Hey Mr. Ruffo I really appreciate your videos, your calm way of talking, they help me to get the tips better. I have a question for you, with the new technologies of editing and the photographic cameras becoming better and more accessible. will the Photographer become only a composer?
Hi Attilio I enjoy watching your posts and love your photographs. I would be interested in seeing a post about lens filters. How they fit to the lens? Do you require different filters for different size lens ending e.g 55mm lens cap compared to 72mm lens cap or is there a universal adapter that fits all? The different type of filters and their quality such as glass over other materials used? The difference of screw on filters over filter plates and if there is a difference in outcome and quality of your shot. Keep the posts coming Cheers Michael
