It is sooooo AMAZING! Matthew Henry links together a so many parts of the Bible I had no idea were connected and explains the deeper meanings AND the implications for our own lives. It's so much more fulfilling than trying to read it on my own! MH also explains other people's interpretations. Simply BRILLIANT. Definitely worth buying and studying with your Bible open to check all his references and improve understanding. I do it first thing in the morning when my brain is fresh and it's a great way to start the day! I found the 6-volume commentary for only $60. I bet you can find a similar deal. Anyway, it is definitely an eye-opener and feels like MH is with me and he brings me so much closer to Jesus❤❤❤! I found MH when I was reading the Bible and kept looking up stuff online-- I realized that I was always turning to his online commentary for understanding. So you can sample him online but having the actual books in hand to slowly go thru in order is just lifechanging. 🙏🏽💕
