A brother in Christ sent me this sermon four months ago. i was saved at the age of 41, I am now 61, and God has fulfilled this promise for me. I was having a lot of trouble with yielding, submitting, and being obedient to our LORD. But by being broken to the dominant Spirit of God, He has restored to me, the years that the locust hath eaten. I was stuck in my sin, my folly, and in my disobedience towards God. Until one day I could no longer live like a carnal Christian, and the LORD blessed me godly repentance, and a peace beyond understanding. for the past four months I have instead of just reading God's word, I have been writing it out. The LORD has been teaching me to chew my spiritual food, and He has blessed me with a better understanding and application to His Word. All praises and glory to God for His amazing longsuffering over me. Thank you to my brother in Christ who sent me this sermon.
I believe that God brought me to this sermon tonight because I am having problems with reaping the consequenes of wasted years and being lukewarm and I have sought back the blessings I lost as a result of my sins through God's grace. I am glad that God is breaking my chains and restoring me. May he have mercy on me and continue to work within me.

Like the war hero who rises to the challenge in the heat of battle amongst his peers, so to a truly anointed and called person of God. The remnant applies to many aspects. There is quantity, but then there are quality. Test the spirits 1 John 4 says: Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God., because many false profits have gone out into the world, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God.
Wow, I need to hear this. So many regrets making foolish decisions over the years. What a Savior to make restoration to us. It’s so easy to almost give up and wonder if the Lord cares anymore. I wish we had preachers like this man today.
This sermon was extremely personal for me. Saved 8 years ago at the age of 42, I struggle with regret for all of the sins of my life before Christ. This was an oasis of joy! Who cares if I'm poor and feeble and my best years physically are behind me. I'M IN CHRIST!!! That will never be taken away! And so many locust-eaten years have already been restored! So much grace I can hardly stand it!😂
Sister I cannot wait to meet you when we get home to heaven. God has used and is using the tragedy that was once my life for his glory! How else could i look into the eyes of a lost soul and say I have been where you are how else could i speak to thier heart with compassion for thier burdens and pains God has given me the free gift of eternal salvation through Jesus Christ ....truly i am undeserving of such a priceless gift yet the benefits of this great gift goes beyond what i can phathom the joy my Saviour has given me the peace that never leaves me the love i have for others and the burdensome fire i have for souls cannot be compared to anything i have ever known i was saved in October of 2010 the greatest decision i ever made was to trust Jesus to save my sould from the lake of fire. I do not know you but I love you woth a godly love and i will lift you up in prayer this evening :) May the Lord teach you and shape you and mold you according to his word and may he bless you all the days of your life. Worst thing I ever did was walk away from the lord for about five years. Not even sure why I got away from Him, there was no pleasure in anything I did. I was just being stubborn. By the grace of God I still have my marriage and children. Now I am having to fight twice as hard the strongholds the devil put against me for all that time. I'm talking about a very dark and real demonic principilaty that has come against me time after time and has caused great delay on the things the lord has promised. Anyone reading please pray. - Mike
Christ has won the victory! We fight not FOR victory, but FROM victory. He has seated us in Him in the heavenlies! That is our position. All we need to do is apply Christ everyday to have the right condition: trusting in Him, walking by faith, confessing any sins, enjoying His Word, obeying and loving Him. Then the enemy and all his spiritual forces of evil and demons become nothing. They are defeated.

This felt like it was being spoken to me. For 7 years now I have beaten my own self down for the decade I wasted lost in an addiction to prescription pain medication. Clean now for 7 years I feel the weight of the decade I lost and how I will answer for the wasted time on day when I face God. This is such a message of hope! I can finally lay this weight down! The Lord can restore not only the lost sheep, like my self, but also the lost years. What a liberating feeling., I needed this message SO bad!

I have been trying to rebuild my life and do you truly trust Christ to provide all I need and show me the reason I am here on this earth still. It’s a daily battle define now not the craving for the drunk but instead it’s the consequences that come from the actions during my addiction. But if I had the choice to go back and do it over I would not want to change it at knowing what I know now. Candy, You at 42, me saved at 22 from a life of sin at that early age; My life changed as all the outward sins of drink, immoral thoughts and ways, etc...the Lord kept me so close to Himself, I prayed all the time, read my bible through and through, then after saturating myself (all my days with scripture) I found Spurgeon & all the great old Puritans and the last thing I wanted was to sin. However, and too long to explain here, but the devil came at me suddenly and for a couple years though I struggled and while I begged the Lord to keep me near him, I in short, was not as near to my precious God. Last, I can say I still clinged to him and feebly fought the wicked one, just as Pilgrim and Apollyn fought in Pilgrims Progress...but for many years now the Lord brought me back close to him...He sent me illness some would not make it through but maybe He had to take me down after my suddenly being attacked and thrashed about by Satan. I KNOW now and always did whom I have believed...the Lord Jesus Christ. Spurgeon often was used to pull me along too. Amen. w
What a refreshing sermon. The locusts have eaten over 2 years of my family. It's been and still is tragedy after another, yet, I am encouraged knowing that the good Lord is good and all His ways are perfect. He shall indeed restore to us all those wasted years. To Him be all glory and honor.

He's already enjoying his rewards in heaven, yet his teachings are still being heard and followed among Christian churches on earth. Yes Lord Jesus, restore what the locusts had eaten in my faith and walk with You, in my life, family and relationships, in Jesus' name, amen. I'm so blessed hearing this. The Lord really knows my heart and gave me this gift that I needed right now. I Praise You Lord and I thank You!
The account of the woman with the ointment so resonated in me that Tears welled up in my eyes! I am so ashamed of having dishonored the Grace of God, by selfish living! Praise the Lord for His mercy and grace!
That account is Mary of Bethany from the Bible. She was Lazarus' and Martha' s sister. It's one of my favorite passages. @@davidsolomon8203 I know what you mean, I've been there. It's good spurgeon reminded you of it. He's done that to me too. also other preachers like D. L. Moody, warren wiersbe, and my preacher at my church. The holy spirit can use people to aid you in understanding or remembering verses.
I have struggled with allergies and autoimmune disease since age 30...I became a Christian at 29 and I am 66...I have tried hard to walk in the spirit and bear fruit and be an encourager and share gospel tracts...but I have also struggled with horrible pain and bipolar symptoms. I know God is gracious and His gift of Jesus is so amazing...but I am struggling with pain and neurological problems. It is hard to keep from being anxious and discouraged. Medication is a help and a hindrance...Oh how I would love to be healed and used by God.
Find the book called A more Excellent Way (Henery W Wright) or www.beinhealth.com/ (I would go to the website first) It is a Christian ministry, and you may find what you are looking for. If you live in the United States his ministry is based there in Georgia I think. Psalm 103 its all good! Seek and you shall find Knock and the door shall be opened Ask and you shall receive...how much more will your Father in heaven give good things to those who ask Him Matt 7 v7-11.
In the name of Jesus Christ,you are completely healed and delivered. Proceed to do what God has laid in your heart to do for him. It may be praying for,missionaries or writing letter of encouragement to those who are cast down. There something can enable you .God cares and he is faithful .
I have psychosis. I know somewhat how you feel. Let me share something with you friend. My condition puts thoughts in my head, I see things that aren't there sometimes, I think delusional things sometimes, but I am being regulated with meds now like you. You feel discouraged, go look to Noah. He preached for hundreds of years, people acted like he was crazy, and yet he wasn't. God had a plan for him and any feelings of discouragement he may have had didn't save him, it was God who saved him. He got into the ark and was saved from the flood, he and his family. Jesus is like the ark. When we get into his love, when He grab hold of us with His salvation, we are saved, despite our feelings. Our feelings don't save us. Did you know Charles Spurgeon suffered from depression. I read that he was often depressed. Look at Job. He felt like there was no reason to serve God. But God came in and told him that He knew what He was doing in Jobs life and his feelings aren't reliable You can feel unsaved, hopeless, helpless, but if you are a child of God, He is with you even when you feel like He aint. He thinks of things we can't. You and I may never be healed on earth from our illnesses but I tell you we will be complete one day in heaven with no sickness or worry. Did you know Paul had a thorn in the flesh that God didn't heal? Jesus had this to say about it to Paul 2 Corinthians 12 (KJV) ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ❝⁸ For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. ⁹ And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.❞ His grace is sufficient for us too. David had people saying there was no hope in God for him but he knew better. Psalms 3 (KJV) ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ❝¹ (A Psalm of David, when he fled from Absalom his son.) LORD, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me. ² Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah. ³ But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. ⁴ I cried unto the LORD with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. WOW ! The book of Psalms is loaded with the Living water our soul does thirst for. All we have to do is come, sit at the feet of Jesus; eat from the bread of life and drink the living water. My soul weeps with regret that although I was born in the age of greats feats of science....i am starving and half way dead spiritually..but am now being resurrected by this great teaching

A prophet just spoke this over me. The cankerworm has done damage on part to my own actions but God will teach me in what I need to learn now going forward, and will restore what the cankerworm has eaten, the damage for a very long time, restored this year. I love this message. While I was in seminary, I used to read his sermons, and aspire to be as good of a preacher as he was. Now, 20 years after seminary, this is helping me get closer to God after several dark years of addiction and not being able to hear his voice. Thank you for sharing these

Damn, many years passed by and many bad things came to pass, it was sad to be part of it, the Holy Spirit spoke to me in 2007 , everything that he said came true, I suffered in addiction and a really bad marriage. Finally i decided to take control of my life, and little did I know that the Holy Spirit would take control over me, and completely change my life for the better. A brother in Christ sent me this sermon four months ago. i was saved at the age of 41, I am now 61, and God has fulfilled this promise for me. I was having a lot of trouble with yielding, submitting, and being obedient to our LORD. But by being broken to the dominant Spirit of God, He has restored to me, the years that the locust hath eaten. I was stuck in my sin, my folly, and in my disobedience towards God. Until one day I could no longer live like a carnal Christian, and the LORD blessed me godly repentance, and a peace beyond understanding. for the past four months I have instead of just reading God's word, I have been writing it out. The LORD has been teaching me to chew my spiritual food, and He has blessed me with a better understanding and application to His Word. All praises and glory to God for His amazing longsuffering over me. Thank you to my brother in Christ who sent me this sermon.
I believe that God brought me to this sermon tonight because I am having problems with reaping the consequenes of wasted years and being lukewarm and I have sought back the blessings I lost as a result of my sins through God's grace. I am glad that God is breaking my chains and restoring me. May he have mercy on me and continue to work within me.

Wow, I need to hear this. So many regrets making foolish decisions over the years. What a Savior to make restoration to us. It’s so easy to almost give up and wonder if the Lord cares anymore. I wish we had preachers like this man today.
This sermon was extremely personal for me. Saved 8 years ago at the age of 42, I struggle with regret for all of the sins of my life before Christ. This was an oasis of joy! Who cares if I'm poor and feeble and my best years physically are behind me. I'M IN CHRIST!!! That will never be taken away! And so many locust-eaten years have already been restored! So much grace I can hardly stand it!😂

Clean now for 7 years I feel the weight of the decade I lost and how I will answer for the wasted time on day when I face God. This is such a message of hope! I can finally lay this weight down! The Lord can restore not only the lost sheep, like my self, but also the lost years. What a liberating feeling., I needed this message SO bad!

@We are forever loved & cherished by Almighty God I do not know a word , phrases, or expression to communicate what sort of awe and wonder I feel after just reading your message! I have been trying to rebuild my life and do you truly trust Christ to provide all I need and show me the reason I am here on this earth still. It’s a daily battle define now not the craving for the drunk but instead it’s the consequences that come from the actions during my addiction.
But if I had the choice to go back and do it over I would not want to change it at knowing what I know now. As I read what you wrote I’m described seeing a white washed clean slate clean white board. It’s like an angel has just sent me iMessage through social media. It’s crazy. So this leaves me now as I said truly without words, and I’m using really good with words and expressing myself through words especially written words, But I’m honestly speechless at this moment gone always shows up. Candy, You at 42, me saved at 22 from a life of sin at that early age; My life changed as all the outward sins of drink, immoral thoughts and ways, etc...the Lord kept me so close to Himself, I prayed all the time, read my bible through and through, then after saturating myself (all my days with scripture) I found Spurgeon & all the great old Puritans and the last thing I wanted was to sin.
However, and too long to explain here, but the devil came at me suddenly and for a couple years though I struggled and while I begged the Lord to keep me near him, I in short, was not as near to my precious God. Last, I can say I still clinged to him and feebly fought the wicked one, just as Pilgrim and Apollyn fought in Pilgrims Progress...but for many years now the Lord brought me back close to him...He sent me illness some would not make it through but maybe He had to take me down after my suddenly being attacked and thrashed about by Satan. I KNOW now and always did whom I have believed...the Lord Jesus Christ. Spurgeon often was used to pull me along too. Amen. w
What a refreshing sermon. The locusts have eaten over 2 years of my family. It's been and still is tragedy after another, yet, I am encouraged knowing that the good Lord is good and all His ways are perfect. He shall indeed restore to us all those wasted years. To Him be all glory and honor.

I suspect that this is a sermon I'll shall be returning to many times over the course of my life.
I have struggled with allergies and autoimmune disease since age 30...I became a Christian at 29 and I am 66...I have tried hard to walk in the spirit and
bear fruit and be an encourager and share gospel tracts...but I have
also struggled with horrible pain and bipolar symptoms.
I know God is gracious and His gift of Jesus is so amazing...but I am struggling with pain and neurological problems.
It is hard to keep from being anxious and discouraged.
Medication is a help and a hindrance...Oh how I would love to be healed and used by God.
Find the book called A more Excellent Way (Henery W Wright) or www.beinhealth.com/ (I would go to the website first)
It is a Christian ministry, and you may find what you are looking for. If you live in the United States his ministry is based there in Georgia I think.

In the name of Jesus Christ,you are completely healed and delivered. Proceed to do what God has laid in your heart to do for him. It may be praying for,missionaries or writing letter of encouragement to those who are cast down. There something can enable you .God cares and he is faithful .
I have psychosis. I know somewhat how you feel. Let me share something with you friend.
My condition puts thoughts in my head, I see things that aren't there sometimes, I think delusional things sometimes, but I am being regulated with meds now like you.
You feel discouraged, go look to Noah. He preached for hundreds of years, people acted like he was crazy, and yet he wasn't. God had a plan for him and any feelings of discouragement he may have had didn't save him, it was God who saved him. He got into the ark and was saved from the flood, he and his family. Jesus is like the ark. When we get into his love, when He grab hold of us with His salvation, we are saved, despite our feelings.
Our feelings don't save us. Did you know Charles Spurgeon suffered from depression. I read that he was often depressed. Look at Job. He felt like there was no reason to serve God. But God came in and told him that He knew what He was doing in Jobs life and his feelings aren't reliable
You can feel unsaved, hopeless, helpless, but if you are a child of God, He is with you even when you feel like He aint. He thinks of things we can't. You and I may never be healed on earth from our illnesses but I tell you we will be complete one day in heaven with no sickness or worry. Did you know Paul had a thorn in the flesh that God didn't heal?

My soul weeps with regret that although I was born in the age of greats feats of science....i am starving and half way dead spiritually..but am now being resurrected by this great teaching

This is great felt like I could hear Jesus speaking through this video. Pleading for God to Give me the years the locust have eaten, so that I can honor him not myself. I realize some places where I have went wrong, have not been as strong in him as I could have been, wasted time with sin. Pleading to devote my life to his glory. In Jesus mighty name amen,

Damn, many years passed by and many bad things came to pass, it was sad to be part of it, the Holy Spirit spoke to me in 2007 , everything that he said came true, I suffered in addiction and a really bad marriage. Finally i decided to take control of my life, and little did I know that the Holy Spirit would take control over me, and completely change my life for the better. I used to pray to JESUS CHRIST and God The FATHER AND ASK FOR THE HOLY SPIRIT TO REST UPON ME, AND HE DID, HE DWELLS IN ME NOW, AND I'M A COMPLETELY BETTER MAN, GOD BLESS YOU ALL. True Story!!
