Here we will discuss the introduction and synthesis methods of Isoquinoline. In this lecture we will discuss the Pomeranz Fritsch synthesis of isoquinoline and its modification method called Schlittler Muller synthesis. In 1893, C. Pomeranz and P. Fritsch described a new synthesis of isoquinoline.
