When you ask out someone you already know, a date is just an excuse to have fun together. When you go on a blind date, having fun is an excuse to try and figure out if you would even want to ask that person out at all.
She had an agenda from the beginning. As soon as he said he asked her out on a casual date, it was clear to me what happened. She decided to show up overdressed so she could shame him. All she had to do when he told her the date would be casual is tell him that he is not the kind of man she's looking for. This was deliberate and deceitful. For his sake, at least she showed her cards early on in the process.
If I take a woman out the date is over as soon as her phone comes out.

Turn the car off, take the key out, walk to the passenger door, open the door and offer your hand to help her exit. Once she exits the car, lock and close the door. Then walk back to the driver side, get in, and drive away. Problem solved.

Yeah you are right about the agenda with the music. but, people have choices they always give you choices. I saw this happening years ago and attempted to make music more geared to starting families and family structure at the end of the day it’s about what is marketable and promoting family unity is not on the agenda. I think that is a thing of past for a lot of black people. Nice to see someone else who can see what’s really happening.
