In 1968 a ounce of silver costed around $2.65 that used to be a lot of money, for $2.65 you could buy 17 burgers. Now you can only but 2 burgers for $2.65 right? But if you you have an ounce of silver (worth $17.06) you can still buy 17 burgers. Silver doesn’t lose its buying power like money does.

Your video popped up on my RUclips feed because I've been studying gold and silver hedges for the past month like crazy. I used to have a very nice stocks, bonds, ETF and REITs portfolio; and just sold it all away for gold and silver. I know those things are just facades and that one day we can wake up and the US dollar be worth nothing, as well stocks and bank accounts. Gold and Silver are the oldest true forms of wealth. So I will stick to what's never been broken. Banks and governments all over the world played us, then hoarded as much of this stuff as they can (to a degree). I can't believe people think currency is of real value when it can always be printed. You can't create gold and silver. At some point it will all be mined. And Silver is of course a commodity and needed for our industrial future, yet many silver mines are closing until the true value of silver is recognized. Thank you for this video. I've learned how to hand make a few types of chains including the Cuban. I don't have some of the equipment (press, air/propane torch etc. ), so in the meantime I've been looking to buy fine silver and maybe 14k chain (bulk) at a price I can afford. That is how i came across your videos. I think it's great and my grandsons, even grand daughters could learn a lot from seeing them. Personally instead of scrap jewelry I would buy constitutional silver (old money that was made out of silver) it’s 90% silver, you can get it for like 1-3 bucks over spot price and if you have time you can hunt coins from the bank and find silver it . If you have silver money it’s about $1.50 face value to make an ounce of silver so if you find it in your pocket change it will cost you about $1.40-$1.50 per ounce wit few exceptions. (Sorry for the “rants” I’m just tossing out some info for precious metal new comers)

The .925 means that 925 parts out of 1000 is actually pure silver and the other .075 parts are a strengthening base metal and mainly used for the production of jewelry and back in the day flatware sets, etc. The .999 is the closest man can get to absolute pure silver and is used mainly as an investment tool.
50 dollars silver was not a bubble, the feds printed all this money and floated the markets with easy money and low interest rates “that’s the real bobble”, helped silver come down to 13 dollars an ounce. Back in the day gold to silver ratio was 16, when things get level again or the gap gets closer to the 16 ratio silver would outperform gold in modern times. gold and silver are a better option then dollars that’s for sure.

OK that is great. Silver is the future. In the 90s I had alot of gold and lost it where I should have kept it. So now I wear silver big bits always as its going to be worth more in 20 yrs the past shows me that. Gold was cheaper in the 90s a ring I paid 50 for is now 3 to 5 hundred pounds.... So even if silver does not grow as high. I know that the 5 ounces round my neck will be worth more in 20 yrs

But if you want more in the future you have to start preserving your wealth, not storing it and watching it’s value decrease. Neatest thing I can think of is when you store money in the bank it’s actually not even yours. You just get a promissory statement saying how much you are owed.

10k ,14k,18k,22k gold you buy 10 TO 15 dollars over spot price per DWT and when you sell they buy 10 to 15 dollars lower per DWT then spot price

OK that is great. Silver is the future. In the 90s I had alot of gold and lost it where I should have kept it. So now I wear silver big bits always as its going to be worth more in 20 yrs the past shows me that. Gold was cheaper in the 90s a ring I paid 50 for is now 3 to 5 hundred pounds.... So even if silver does not grow as high. I know that the 5 ounces round my neck will be worth more in 20 yrs

@@drebodollaz3504 mate I had a gold keeper ring in the 90s look them up on Google if ur not familiar as its a UK thing it cost me around 50_60 pounds now they are silly money to the point where its no longer the must have for young lads as was in 90s. I bought a 925 silver one at 30grams for 110... Lost it at work... Went to replace and had gone up to 140 same ring same store crazy hey

Love this video! Thanks for sharing! Hopefully people learn that sure paper currency is useful day to day for living. But if you want more in the future you have to start preserving your wealth, not storing it and watching it’s value decrease. Neatest thing I can think of is when you store money in the bank it’s actually not even yours. You just get a promissory statement saying how much you are owed.
