I don't think the Oracle should learn *anything* when they protect someone, not even that someone was protected- the Oracle should have to fly completely blind, all while the people they protected don't know if it was an Oracle or some other TP who saved them. That makes it easy to fake claim that the Oracle protected you, or for people to fake claim Oracle. Edit: That also gives room for evils to fake claim cleric and take credit for the Oracle's saves, which has interesting potential.
I've gotten the Oracle role twice thus far. The 1st time a jailor jailed me, I posted my will without delay. He said nothing at all that night then hit the exe button at the last moment exing me for no reason at all then DC'd in shame. The 2nd game was just earlier today & had a funny moment. Things happened & night 3 I chose to self so to speak, I chose Oracle to protect, as I though I was gonna get attacked. That night I got a message telling my #14 had been attacked. I was confused about that message for a second then it clicked that 14 had to be an oracle as well. In the end myself & 14 won the game for town against a baker & it was all cause of night 3.

The fact that they dced could be considered throwing since you are throwing away a town vote, but weird to call an exe a game throw otherwise.

I think Seer is always the best N1 option to Aegis, because they visit 2 people which means they're more likely to be attacked by Jinx, Veteran, and Crusader

Using the previous assumption that it was 1 SK and 1 Shroud: Night 4, Aegis on Jailor, protected them Day 5, nothing happened Night 5, can't protect jailor, don't use aegis, both pipe and 5 lived Day 6, Pipe didn't want to vote 7, but if 7 got hung, regardless if it was Shroud or SK (or SK or SC in reality) jailor could jail 3 while Oracle uses aegis on jailor night 6, then its a 2v1 right?

The Oracle reminds me of how non-standardized the nighttime role-selector menus are. Makes them harder to learn for new people because they are all different.
Learning moment: a retributionist/necromancer when using a role with unique identifiers have context for what their corpse does if say a trickster has a stored attack it will say unleash but if you never got that particular encounter it can be something you skip over and lead to a confusing situation (which I've learn to just say EVERYTHING that happens to me in a particular night even if I'm evil when I can or at least put it in my will.)
It's a shame 10 wasn't gotten out sooner because people actually listened to 1. What in tarnation was that "I don't want to explain" stuff? That should have been an instant hang, Also, Town at the end could have won if the SK was the one jailed and voted out next night then doing the same to the shroud next night.

I just redownloaded this game. Honestly, it would be really hard.. but I think the player count of the game would go up if the ToS team figured out how to make accounting for a lot of variables more smooth with the GUI. You could even port to console maybe if you were to get really niche with it.

Oracle is so satisfying, I had a game that I saved like 2 different invests in one night, saved myself in the next and saved another person in the last night

Imo the best choice for protecting N1 would be amnesiac. You can’t know for sure what tpow roles are in the game, but if an amne is in the game and can become that tpow role, it’s better to protect the amne over a tpow. Not only that, but the amne would then remember allowing you to protect them again

This honestly hurts more than when they changed the berserker silhouette (bring back juggy boi and give him a kickass fit please)

Shroud doesn't counterattack roleblocks, only WW, Pest and SK do that, so they actually could have won if they convinced the other evil to vote 7 or 3
