The thing about Apoc as a faction is, the numbers exist. 2 Apocs have the same average winrate as a full four person coven. That's an insane power gap and near impossible to account for. Solo Apoc, while I don't like it rn, I understand the intent.

yeah they need to rework apoc as a full faction and have it randomly choose if there is 3 apoc there can be no more than 1 coven, if 2 apoc it can be 2 coven, and if 4 apoc no coven. or something similar, but capping it to 1 is just stupid.

I think making Apocs solo only was a really bad idea. Especially for roles that are forced to be extremely slow and passive play like SC or PB. With so many other roles that can mess with them day or night, it really took a lot of fun out of playing Apoc. Berz and SC were a fun combo because it gave the Berz an ally to work with, and Berz would speed up SC. So unless they rework Soul Collector to be more active, a lot of players will probably DC rather than play it out. Since they wont become Death till Day 7 unless they luck out and astral visit someone who dies to speed it up. Bumping TPOW on top is skewing the balance HEAVILY in towns favor.
Wasn't Baker/Famine also known to usually be pretty weak? Sounds like an absolute nightmare to be solo baker, let alone being forced to be solo. Correct me if i'm wrong though. And yeah, ngl from Pipetron's videos - and this could be bias due to his many town-aligned games - I already felt like Town was usually pretty darn strong, outside those rare cases where town gets an absurdly low amount of numbers and are practically destined to lose as a result... I'll admit I haven't actually played the game, so idk what the reality is here.
@@saplingarcher7713 famine is still better at solo then Death. Baker only needs to drop 3 bread then nukes most of the town except the 3 who got bread. Its honestly the second fastest if not the fastest to transform, though only gets basic defense and can't astral visit like SC. The only other issue is Famine tends to starve town, but then gets voted out the next day unless there's a jester or something to mix it up.
Even with the games getting slowed down a bit I feel pirate might be too difficult in a lot of games. Confirmed townies that get protected like lookouts or tpow, or even 2 chaining clerics. Also what if there is a cleric landlubber but 3 clerics in the game, you would have to either risk losing all your attacks or take up to 3 more days just to ensure you get it right.
The pirate thing at the end feels more like an "unintended result of how Marshal works" instead of a "bug" (yeah there's a difference). Marsh causes first hang to not be revealed (or even added to graveyard) until after the 2nd hang, so you got Pirate win while in limbo, basically. They'll probably fix it since winning and losing at the same time does sound very unintended.
Got this role on my first game. Got poisoner, jailor, sk. Poisoner got exed and jailor got killed by coven, on same night (night 2), and we hung sk on day 3.
I had a pirate game where my last target was oracle, and back to back 2 different oracles self and saved the guy my last target. I got coven to team up with me at the end and they killed the other oracle so I guaranteed won that game.
I had this happen with a Pirate that died Day 2. He 'won' on like Day 5, after a trial, and the day reset, so we got a second trial. Coven was winning, but because of that Town won.
I think the time to identify landlubbers are okay when need to update pirates to get a less free win, but 3 targets are a bit too much. In my opinion only 2 out of 3 targets would be alright.
I'll be honest I've had great fun playing the new SC and PB, they are absolutely solo-able. Bers and Baker, not so much. I feel like they need something extra, like Baker barriering their target for the night, for Bers idk, maybe I'm playing him wrong, appearing as town for psy and seer would be awesome tho.

I luckily managed to get Scalawag (lose 6 duels) before the rework. Im surprised it was as rare as Two For One Special at 0.8% since the latter didnt seem that hard
I think the only reason it counted as a win is the Marshall kills put both names in the Graveyard at the same time. If it put the names in after each hanging, I'm pretty sure you would've gotten a Loss.

I have seen pirate win after being dead for a couple days so I don’t think the game checks for if he’s alive when checking for the win

If you leave a game (after dying) then you get the reward for that game after your next game - win or lose. So that part isn't a bug.
