Sup, I was 7 the potion master in the first game (jeez i got jumpscared seing myself) . I revealed pipe night 3 as a cleric, so I was just watching this from the graveyard with them surrounded by every evil possible. We knew 15 was ww and i think i revealed 5 (?) ((no I didnt)) Like he said, town was NOT supposed to win that game, the knight was a real hero moment. (edit for correction because i have goldfish memory)
The problem with muting in any game, PvE or PvP, is that if they are bothering other people they complain and thus muting them does literally nothing. And if they are trash talking you or trying to give you/team useful info then that also is a problem. It's a lose-lose, gotta get them out if they are gonna act like and not even play the game. Not having the conversation is the worst thing ever as well.
With these kind of things, I consider that if a person has gotten reported in the last 2-3 games, they automatically get their account suspended for a whole day. If this keeps repeating and the reports say that it's because of spam, ban the player completely. I think that would fix the issue.
I hate this flummery so much. Same with the kind of people that make their name “I always inno/guilty” or “I never talk” & do just that. Like if you’re not going to play the game, then don’t
I sometimes go on the disconnected guy as Crus, hoping to catch out a pirate or soul collector - one time I did it and another crus had the same idea and we killed each other instead oops
He didn't even have results, either. It also reminds me of a coven that claimed Trapper and said his trap, which was placed on someone who died to berserker, was triggered by a specific player.
Pipe having Main Character syndrome and also just reading the room so dang well. No one would have been able to do that. Edit: No shot I asked last video if someone thought about going BG on DC person to bait pirate and Pipe doing it as Crus.
Killing pirates on dcd on n1 is an established play, pipe has already done that before. Doing that as bg would just waste your live for a pirate that wouldn't have much influence and a dcd who would've died anyway.
Doing this as BG is a horrible play, you trade your life for a pirate. With crus you prove your existence immediately and take an evil out of the game while surviving.
To be fair with a Seer checking against a disconnected player, it does confirm one person pretty quick. If the person that DC'd was town and they are friends, then the person checked is also town.
Evils are the most common to dc. Confirming someone as evil doesn’t confirm the other person as town. Especially if they are exe, pirate or arsonist. I tend to find ‘Seers’ that do this are actually evil because they can avoid posting useful information while still maintaining plausible deniability.
but it's not confirming a townie, you're just confirming that they're not coven or not exe or whatever. Then there's the case of enchanters playing around with disconnected or crusader looking for a pirate. You also don't force a claim out of the other one, because there's no 1f1, so you can only hope to get lucky and a townie disconnected d1, because then you can confirm an evil (though that could also get seen as an exe play)
No. It's always bad because it only gives you information on *one* player that is actually relevant. Getting information on *two* players that is relevant is better.
Man that cleric game reminds me of a tos 1 mayor game I had a few weeks ago. I revealed on D1 for the achievement. It was AA and a 3 town (turned 4) game. There were no tps. Unlike pipe, I was braindead. But somehow, I ended up in a similar 1v1v1 against ww and arso and won in the same way. Some of those "unwinnable" games can be wild ngl! 😅
I once won a 3 v 1 as Arso vs coven. They had Medusa, Hex and something else. Instead to attack me with the Hex they attacked me with Medusa. I killed 2 of them (killing the Hex) and won after that too. Kinda funny. It was in a Streamer game. Not sure who the guy was. Was a couple of years ago.
@@SpicyFiur I'm assuming that's tos 2, right? I don't play tos 2 coz I'm too mentally broken to start playing a new game but that's insane bro 😦 I've won in similar situations in the past but it was always with neutrals who don't know each other for sure (2v1 against sks as ww, 2v1 against ww and exe who decided to side ww as arso). Sorry but I don't have a game to match the craziness of that game you had! 😲
Hey Pipe adopted my favorite tactic for confirming myself w/out harming a townie (except for that one time an Investigator wanted to percept a DC to check for an Enchanter Alteration). Did manage to bag a Wildling one time, I guess they wanted to see who a potential Pirate was?
Spoilers: Only a 5 town game and town still won? The Pipetron plot armour is real. You protected from 5 attacks and didn't get the achievement so that's a bit weird.
Just played 4 "really relaxing" games of tos 2🥰 1st game : got conjed d2 as a passive deputy 2nd game : got killed by exe as a doomsayer 3rd game : got decimated by a vigi, a jailor and a bers as cov 4th game : claimed doom d1 as a tracker, got poisoned n1 and dep shoots the cleric d2... I died n2 :)
At 14:57, somewhere Adagia had an unexpected wave of nostalgia for TOS1 and was filled with an unexplainable rage towards Pipton. Then as quickly as it had come, the feeling left, and only hollowness stayed in its wake.
Of course Nora is in love with Ren. For those who don't know, they are characters from Roosterteeth"s* RWBY, who are canonically in love. *Roosterteeth went under earlier this year (2024), but sold the RWBY IP to VIZ media. VIZ has yet to announce their plans for RWBY at time of writing.
Pipe must have been thinking "3 protections". He did that, but he _selfed once_ and protected the *same person twice* - so that was either two protects or one protect, depending entirely on if self-protections count towards the achievement. ...I wonder if any spades have worked out the specifics of that achievement.
1:43 Yes, it is objectively a bad play to check a disconnected player with another, odds are VERY high that the person who disconnected got a "bad role" they don't think they can win with, and that usually means they get any NE/NK role, or are solo apoc/coven. The resulting information is pretty much useless because they're probably enemies with anyone and everyone else in the lobby. THIS is made even worse if there's an enchanter who sees a dead body n1 and decides to dress it up into a non-unique town role, and the seer "enemies" will accidentally leads to a mislynch and put the seer under pressure.

More like Cleric at home, in that moment if he was Veteran, baker would of got a solo apoc win while doing nothing.

Doesn't work on SC anymore. They have astral visits. Still valid for pirate though.
Might catch an enchanter too
You told the Monarch you was safe to visit, it turned out, you was NOT safe to visit.
in hindsight, it was the best play, because the baker wouldn't have voted the werewolf in a 2v1v1, so town would've just lost.

I feel like people shouldn’t be able to dc from games like that, it’s part of the game to get different roles.
Easy fix?

I mean tbf, with the fact that Seer can’t revisit the same person. Using a DC to confirm a townie isn’t too bad of an option.

I tend to find ‘Seers’ that do this are actually evil because they can avoid posting useful information while still maintaining plausible deniability.
