Can you replace ac and remove lines without having to recover and evacuate? Maybe by bleeding system at high and low ports?

      Unfortunately, no.
But you can buy refrigerant and this pump from Amazon, which will make it a lot cheaper.

Thx for this. I have to change out mine on KW T2000 1999.
Do you have a vid on charging the system, filling with freon?

Question? Did you have to remove the belt? Or depressurize the system ?

When replacing the compressor you have to collect the refrigerant to recycle it.
      The belt must come off.

You will need this pump to fill it in with refrigerant. The extraction machine it’s very expensive.

Right on time. My compressor went out 2 days ago. Trying to make it home before I try and mess with it. Looked pretty easy. I was trying to find a way to evacuate the system without a recovery machine or taking it to a shop. Guess I’ll just have a shop recover it and have them vacuum and charge it when I’m done. Thanks for the video. 👍🏾

There is just one way to save the freon by a special machine at specialised shop. Very expensive.

I don’t remember. To charge the system I usually call the pro’s. They have all the equipment needed.
