Pamela the blanket is absolutely beautifully done. I've been watching your progress with this blanket and now the finished blanket. 💜💜💜 Thank you for sharing 💜🙏🤗🧶☕
Hi, Pamela. That tip on the bears ears matching the corners of your square was appreciated, your crochet designer intellect is shining through. ✨, cool blanket. Don't ya just love those slip stitches?🙂.GOD BLESS. have a good day.
Knox's blanket is so awesome. Can't wait till I get my grandson, Daniel's done. It's a year long project for me so it will be in time for his 2nd birthday this coming Dec.
That's beautiful. I haven't made squares but now I feel like I know how you've attached them and won't be so concerned that I don't know how. Thank you Pamela. Prayers, love and hugs my very dear friend. 🙏❤️🤗
The blanket is brilliant, I have the same book, when time permits I want to do one for my , for my grandson William. Thank you so much Pamela, have a good weekend. Kind regards from Very Windy London
Knox’s 1st Birthday blanket came out sooooo adorable. It has been so fun watching you do all the squares over the last year. What a special blanket 💙💙💙💙
I have this book, I found it easier to make the animals separately and make full squares then sew it on, easier than hiding different colour yarn, love Knox's blanket
This is such a sweet blanket. I like the clips! Sure makes joining look easier. Thanks for the hints. I have Amazon Prime so I actually borrowed this ebook but haven't even looked at it.
My first visit here, keep seeing you on Rose likes crochet, thought I would have a peek at your channel. Love the blanket you did a wonderful job and I love the way you put the squares together. Much easier than I have seen before.
I absolutely love Knox's blanket, it's so adorable, he will love it as well, he will have fun with all the animals. When you first bought the book way back I went and purchased it as well, love the idea of all the different squares. Now that I'm crocheting just for relaxing I can catch up on my WIPs and start some more lol, I would like to make a couple of baby blankets with the 3D blocks to have on hand, my stash is depleted. Thank you for sharing the adorable baby blanket. Until the next time. ❤️❤️
Beautiful blanket!! , I brought the book a while ago . I did the little bear square , and thank for the tip on putting the features later. I followed your advice and it came out perfectly symmetrical. Thanks
I remember when you started this blanket for your grandson. It’s beautiful. It is so nice of you to share your hacks on how you make the character elements. I have not seen your way of joining. It looks easier than some other methods. 👍
I've always sown my granny squares together so front and back were completely flat. I really like the dimension the sc join gives the blocks. May have to give that a try. Kids just love little things like that to fidget with.
Love the blanket and thanks for showing us how to crochet the squares together. Those last 4 grey squares I would put the date or his age on them so their not blank. Just an idea.
The blanket turned out awesome! I love it! Pamela...I sent a second comment on your Wednesday WIP caddy video asking for some info on your afghan that is on the back of your chair. I hope you don't mind. Thanks❤❤🤗🤗
Good morning Pamela. It's seems strange to see the sc on the right side. I have been crocheting for years the ridge from the SC was done on the wrong side its seems funny with it on the right side. Absolutely nothing wrong doing it this way. Very pretty blanket Pamela looks very time consuming. You did a fantastic job.👍🎉🎉🎉❤💜🧶🧶
This was my first time doing the sc on the front side. I just thought it would be appropriate for this type of blanket. I usually seam my together on the back side. I started this blanket March of last year.
Pamela I just wanted to let you know the Octie throw you are doing the pattern is on sale right now at Annie’s for 60 percent off. So anyone who wants to crochet along can get the pattern for immediate download for $1.75
I just got the free version for my kindle. Thanks for the heads up Pamela. I just finished making one of Jayda’s calendar blankets (2017). It was fun so I figure this will be too. That is if I can read the pattern. I’m not very good at that.
Awesome! I used a G 4.0 hook and medium 4 weight yarn and I always made my circle then went into the square and I added the ears and stuff like that last.
Beautiful work! That’s going to be a treasured family heirloom ❤
Fabulous blanket which the little one will always remember.💖

Hi Pamela. Love the blanket and the blue yarn that you are joining the squares with. Are you adding a border?
Yes I did put a border on it at the end. I actually added 3 rows. The last row was a picot row.

Do you have a pattern for the plain squares?
Jayda in Stitches had squares with different characters for the months. It was nice. I like your squares, but I cannot afford to buy the book.
The book is on sale right now and the digital version is free right now for prime members.
I just got the free version for my kindle. Thanks for the heads up Pamela. I just finished making one of Jayda’s calendar blankets (2017). It was fun so I figure this will be too. That is if I can read the pattern. I’m not very good at that.

Nice animal blanket
Thank you 😊
One more thing. Was the yarn DK or worsted?
It is a Med. 4 weight yarn and I used a G 4.0mm hook.
