- I love Eleven Table Tennis. For years this has been my go to table tennis game in VR. Now with the Quest 3 I am checking it out in mixed reality for the first time!

I'm sitting on a wheelchair. These kind of games provide good exercise for me and others like me: to get the upper body move a lot - with great fun.
That’s awesome
I've been saying this for a couple years now. This game has to be on the list of one of the best video games ever made. The fact that it makes you feel like you're actually playing real table tennis is beyond amazing. This needs to be on every single vr headset!
I get quest 3 only just only for this game
@@Roreaver I'm not surprised. It's really that good!
I haven't played real table tennis in 10 years when I got this on the quest 2 2 and a half years ago(got the quest 3 2 weeks ago) I play the same on eleven like I do in real life except how I serve.
Love this game in MR. It makes it so much easier to play in slightly smaller play areas, knowing you can see the actual walls of your room and have no chance of accidentally hitting something. It's one of the most perfect use-cases for mixed reality imo.
Yes!
yes yes@@mixedrealityTV
It looks like a perfect killer app, like Walkabout Minigolf. Can't wait to try it.
Are there any other sports games that nail it as much as these two? I've just had Quest 3 for a few days now.
@@AdamsOlympia racket club is fun and has a even better mixed reality mode
Just got it for the Quest 3 and I'm blown away at how real it is.
Excuse the pun. This is a real game changer. I love the game. Mixed reality wow. No more worries of smacking surrounding furniture. Much more freedom.
Got my Meta Quest 3 (512gb) yesterday and downloaded the free trail to this 😃 this is now one of my favourite games on the meta quest, it’s so realistic 😱 im fairly good at table tennis is real life and noticed you can even do spin return hits 💯💯💯💯
Cool. Now try Miracle Pool on the table near you. It is my favorite VR game nowadays
I've got both but have to admit ETT is 99% of my Quest time...
Miracle Pool is the biggest surprise for me in VR this year. I liked their previous blackhole pool game but the mixed reality of the quest 3 takes it to another level.
I think MR will be great for the average room setup, being able to keep an eye on your surroundings will make playing much safer for all involved
Me and my better half play this in our garden. Perfect!
does it really feel like the real thing?
Yes it does except I can't serve how I serve in real life
Bought a Quest 3 basically just for this. Using it to train for actual table tennis, we'll see how that goes
Nice! How's your training going?
@joshpipe7755 cooled down with it lately. I did a 7-week in-person league and improved a lot over the course of the league, it was a pretty cool experience. Towards the end of the league I was using the Quest a lot to practice spin + return spin shots.
@@boogersincoffee I've been playing table tennis since middle school, so about 15 years now, and it blows my mind that these headsets are capable of complementing real life leagues and practice.
I know it's not a 1:1 replacement, but for people like me who don't have a 🏓 table at home or within walking distance, I'm so excited for these new possibilities that are opening up.
All the best with your games!
I noticed today that AMVR makes a table tennis attachment for the Quest 3 right controller and there is a profile for it in the games equipment section. I already own it on PCVR, so guess I am going to have to buy it again for that.
When you were hovering at 50k we were playing on an Odyssey+. Now your'e at 154k! Way to go Seb! Ps. We still have an Odyssey+ I got from someone on your live chat, and a new Quest 3!
i love this game and now hope to vr
so I plan to play with my boarding school friends one days like good old days (in diff countries)
I already have eleven. I kinda do wanna try out the MR now
Hi, eine Frage, sieht man bei dem FoV eigentlich den ganzen Tisch in der Quest ?
Ja!
@@mixedrealityTV Danke.
I like the VR environments of ETT a lot but even in my larger living room either the guardian shows up and constantly kills rhe immersion or aith a larger guardian I crash into furniture. In MR mode all that is gone. Just playing. Even better is playing against real live players.
Have you tried Table Tennis ReCrafted in iOS?
There should be some people or other moving objects in the background. Until I kept hearing "mixed reality" I thought this particular background was part of the game!
When did u get a swimming pool!
How much better does it look in vr compared to quest 2?
Well. The passthrough obviously is way better than Quest 3. Virtual worlds also do look better thanks to better lenses and higher resolution but no revolution here.
@mrtv in the nwxt video you should play against human opponents. You would see their avatars - this adds so much to the game over the cat's head. And himans play in so many different ways.
I've just bought a Quest 3, and I hear the best approach is to buy this as a native title, and not through Steam and playing with airlink or virtual desktop. The thing is, most of these comments are from a few years ago, and I'm wondering if things have improved since then..? I have a pretty good wireless connection at home- Beat Saber on quest seems to work really well, and when I swing the putter around in walkabout mini golf via airlink, I can't really detect a delay in motion- the movement feels very solid.
Can anyone confirm that they are having a good experience with airlink/VD on Quest 3 for this game? I don't mind to buy through the meta store, but I like my PCVR games and I'm not sure about what to expect as far as graphics/resolution/fps for quest specific games.
Cheers!
Playing this via PCVR works fine but you won't get the Mixed Reality Experience.
@@mixedrealityTV Thanks Sebastian :) Yes the mixed reality aspect seems really cool, the quest version is probably worth it from that alone
So real life objects like your arms cannot be displayed over the viortual table?
Pong has come a long way over the years. 😆
Oh indeed!
Hello, I have a problem, I play single player with AI but I am always 0-0, I don't score points. would you help me ?
how do you turn the mixed reality
very cool
This game is the most realistic sport game
Holy smokes! The pass through is much better than I was expecting. I love 11 table tennis, but since the quest three came out, it's consistently lagging. I wonder if meta paid them money to do that to push people like me to upgrade.
Maybe a stupid question but how much space do you need to play properly?
probably 1 meter since you'll just stand still and hit and at most walk a little sideways if you have a difficult time hitting.
@@nerddeku9675 No you need way more since you have to get balls played to the side as well. It needs quite a lot of space. Easily 3x2 meters or 4x3 meters to be safe. More space towards the side but also quite some to get closer or further back.
A lot of my virtual opponents are teenagers playing in their tight bedrooms.
2x2 meter is preferred.
Shouldn't it be fairly easy to make a passthrough environment for PCVR as well, we would only need the table in a blue void and Virtual Desktop would do the rest? I'm sure there are Unity experts out there who can fix this in an evening!
does MR work on Quest 2?
@@newakk-ys8js nope
Yes but its black and white.
@@AntDog1984 I mean this game on Q2 in MR)
Why no review of Asgard's Wrath 2?
Does this work with both players is in the same physical room?
Probably, if you both have a quest 3 and you can invite your friend to play an online game, you just have to stay on one side of the room.
why would you want to play VR with your friend while you can just do it in real life? hahaha
@AlejandroLopez-wy2st ok ill take yout advice and build a minigolf course in the lounge room, a pool table and a table tennis board. And what would be great then is I won't have the space for other vr stuff. Don't worry I can still play half life alex standing on the table tennis table.
How to turn this?
Tracking on the Q3 controllers have a hard time handling this game if you're swinging wide. It's very annoying.
The price is still too much though given it's essentially an apk with android level of assets.
One of the hottest sports games ever.
Quest 3 controller tracking is not good enough for this game.
Is it better in quest 2 or pico 4?
what?
Hmmm, just lost a fan
What's up?
Would be cool if only the bats, the cat and the ball were VR and the table was your table
Devs could easily do it by simply making the ingame table only a collision mesh
there will be a slight misalignment between the ball and mixed reality because of the difference in framerate since 3d objects are usually rendered at 90 or 120hz in headset while mixed reality is about 30 hz afaik.
