- All aboard! In this video, filmed on March 25, 2024, we will explore America's Finest City by transit, San Diego! Come along as I take the MTS Rapid 215 line from downtown San Diego (0:39) to Balboa Park (1:30) & San Diego State (4:20). Take the SDMTS Trolley (light rail) Green line (5:11) to Mission San Diego (6:55). Jog to Snapdragon Stadium (9:18). Take the Green line (10:28) to Morena/Linda Vista station to get lunch at Sushi Freak. After lunch (12:55), go one stop over to Old Town (13:11) transfer to the Blue line to UC San Diego via the Mid Coast Extension (14:34). While I was at Old Town, spotted Amtrak Pacific Surfliner with the first full day of service after the latest San Clemente landslide (13:38). At UC San Diego (16:00), jog two miles to Sorrento Valley Coaster station (16:45) as there wasn’t any bus service at 3 pm. Then taking the NCTD Coaster (17:15) to Santa Fe Depot, and take the Flagship Ferry to Coronado Island (18:44). Then I took the MTS 904 (19:28) to Hotel del Coronado, took in the hotel & the beach (20:24). After that, took the MTS 904 back to the ferry landing (20:50), and got a photo of the downtown San Diego Skyline from the viewpoint (21:05). After getting several shots, I took the ferry to the San Diego Convention Center (21:23) with perfect sunset shot (22:38). At the dock, I disembarked the ferry, I walked to Seaport Village (22:49) and saw the light arches around the pond. Then I headed back to Marriott Vacation Club Pulse San Diego via trolley from Seaport Village (23:25) station to Fifth Avenue station (25:08) via Green line & transfer at 12th & Imperial to the Orange line (24:08).

Thank you for watching!
Cool
Thank you!
By the way can you make a video of that train that looks exactly like metrolink
That is the North County Transit District’s Coaster commuter train. There are some plans in the works for a video about the Coaster.
@@antsoltravel the train that runs in San Diego it looks exactly like metrolink
That gives me an idea! I can do a quick day trip from Anaheim to San Diego. With Metrolink from Anaheim to Oceanside, Coaster to San Diego, and then Amtrak Pacific Surfliner back to Anaheim, to compare the three train services. Now that will be quite a trip & video!
