Good interview. He was not kissing ass, he was asking thoughtful questions and De Niro appreciated that. Thats why he answered, something he doesn't usually do

Class. Both fellas, real class. Great to see De Niro talk frankly and openly about the roots of A BRONX TALE and paying tribute to Chazz Palminteri, who wrote the play that the movie is based on. DeNiro has a natural, authentic intensity to him that no doubt has a lot to do with his incredible success as an actor. Most cool what both men say here about the real heroes in this world, working men (and of course, by extension, working people). Thanks, reelrave.

I loved and admired this actor for many years. Throughout his career he made classics such as Mean Streets, The Deer Hunter, Godfather 2 , Raging Bull, Casino, Cape Fear; Goodfellas, A Bronx Tale Heat and the Untouchables. All classics and all hard earned. But now he seems determined in destroying his legacy by starring in crap such as Righteous Kill, Hide and Seek, Dirty Grandpa, The Bagman, Freelancers and the Irish man to name a few. It's so disappointing that he doesn't seem to care anymore and that all he cares about is the money. Hopefully he can change this around before it's too late.

I remember seeing him in The Deer Hunter and I continued to watch him over the years, but it’s hard now because I’ve lost all respect for him as a person. Al Pacino is the man.

I’m sure he’s hurting because a man he doesn’t know lost respect for him 😂😂

@@jjrose14 I don’t think I’m the only one if you check, but I don’t care either way. In fact when I went to Hollywood, I turned around and left, I didn’t even call my agent back(Vic Sutton), because it felt close to HELL. And I love California, it’s got a lot of great people, out of 34 million. But what would it profit a man to gain the world and lose his soul? . Oh how do you know he doesn’t know me?

What Carried the movie was a great story, I feel it would have been a better movie if he got a real director for it.. you could see where DeNiro was amateurish

I can't imagine Robert Deniro going for a date...A total disaster and a very uncomfortable situation for the girl. If he wasn't Robert Deniro he would stil be single

The reason deniro doesn't answer is because the man is slow. Has has not a thought older than 1 second.

DeNiro is the most overrated actor ever. He only plays one role well. A one-dimensional "actor".

You must've not seen many De Niro films lol
Jack has been playing himself since the 80s
But I do I agree that DDL is another great actor who was inspired to act by whom??? Robert De Niro!!!!
