    I currently have an issue with my 2021 Rav4 LE. The radio is set for 36 stations (station memory). Once in awhile, when I skip to the next station in memory, it will skip the same memory/channel. Say I'm sitting on stations 7-12, I start selecting each of these 6 stations... my radio will go from 11, back to 8 (instead of selecting number 12 after 11).
    I have had my car for a year, it does it 3 or 4 times each month. I just put another station in # 12, and try again. Usually I have to enter a new station about 8 times before the radio will go grom channel 7-12 completely.
    It's frustrating. Is there some magic way to reset the radio? Holding in the power button on the radio until it shuts the radio off then turning it back on does not fix this issue.
    Please let me know? Thank you!!

      It took me forever to figure out how to get in the trunk. My manual is nearly 800 pages and what it showed in it is NOT what I have. To add to my confusion, the quick manual had something entirely different. I couldn't believe with all the stuff on this vehicle that there's no automatic trunk button. Then when I finally opened the hatch for the first time, I struggled because it's quite heavy for me. I have a back disability and I'm short.... but I gotta live with it. Still frustrating though but I feel nothing is perfect and overall, this vehicle is very solid.

    • @brianruperti
      @brianruperti  2 года назад +1

      Great question and awesome observation.
      So the car is designed to remind you to turn them off, which it did nicely for you.
      The locking of the door twice is a killswitch for all lights left on. This makes it convenient to not only save battery life but also for people who drive ALOATT (all lights on, all the time) for safety preference.
      So your battery will not drain because the lights are in fact off for good after the double lock.
      Hope that helps!

      In the MID you can change the units in the settings menu
      Or on the radio screen you can go to menu>settings>units

      @@brianruperti the temperature option isn't there. But there are options to change miles to kilometers, even the changing units to km doesn't change temperature to celsius

      Sorry about that. That button is the distance setter for the adaptive cruise control!

      @@standm6130 yup! Normal. It is supposed to go that. It’s actually only active when you’re in radar cruise control. Only then will it change the following distance.

    But this does not address a Limited. Adds to my confusion.

    I absolutely miss the 19-22 infotainment screen. The 23-24 is soulless. No buttons, no informative home screen. LOVE the RAV4. My 23 is my 2nd 5th gen RAV4, I also got the gf a 24 Limited. But man the screen sucks compared to 19-22 one.
