      Oh, Thanks. Otherwise I would have kept searching for it as I had it in the previous model by the passenger door with a possibility to switch it on/off manually by the car key.
      Many thanks again 👍

    Is there a more detailed explanation of how to u use the infotainment? I'm confused when I have to plug in vs using Bluetooth only. TIA

    • @brianruperti
      @brianruperti  Год назад +1

      When you’re in Bluetooth it’s mainly the Toyota interface. When you’re plugged into the system you’ll be on your apple or android interface which makes the car screen act more like your phone.
      I can do a more in depth one on my next RAV4 video but here is a video on the highlander screen which shares 98% DNA with your screen I hope it helps you.

    Hi! Was curious to know if there vehicles in this package have a garage door opener. I have the standard rear view mirror but didn’t see another button!

    • @brianruperti
      @brianruperti  Год назад

      Hey there, yes you need the digital display mirror package with homelink universal transceiver.
      It’s basically a “mirror” package and that’s what you get, but unless it has that, you won’t get the garage door opener. On that mirror they hide the garage buttons discretely on the bottom rim. The flip lever makes it go from digital to regular. Hope that helps.

    Hi Brian! I just got a new phone. Need to pair with my 2022 Rav limited. Is it better to pair by Bluetooth or USB cable?

    • @brianruperti
      @brianruperti  Год назад +1

      Hello! Pairing only happens with bluetooth. Usb cable isn’t considered a pair. That’s just connected. You’ll gain CarPlay by plugging in. But bluetooth is convenient for a quick wireless connection.

    • @susanmeredith4957

      @@brianruperti thanks, when I got my Rav the guy at dealership set everything up. But just upgraded phone so wasn’t sure. So I just tried pairing it with Bluetooth. Went well. Then plugged in for full Apple Car Play. Surprised myself that I did it lol!

      Hi Brian! Did you say the Toyota Nav is going away? I like it esp as I live close to US border so I don’t have to incur roaming charges using maps on phone. I know Canadian vehicles come with different packages but I have the 2022 Rav limited hybrid.

    • @brianruperti

    I need help my 2022 RAV 4 Premium XLE just muted the audio on me when I was coming out of the garage this morning as near as I can figure I came a little close to the wall backing out but I didn’t think it was any closer than any other time. I went shopping and when I came out and started the car the audio came on and then immediately muted again. I looked everywhere in my manuals and cannot find anything to help. Do you have any ideas, I’m sure it is something simple that I am missing.

    Hi Brian, useful tips , saved me a lot of time. Can you confirm , to use the Auto high beam, after pushing the auto high beam button, do I also have to turrn on the High beam manually or just leave it in off position? Thanks

    • @brianruperti
      @brianruperti  Год назад +2

      Glad to help! Great question. If you have a 2021, you likely have to actually engage the headlight stalk forward, then click in the auto Highbeams button.
      For 2022 and newer, you can now leave the stalk in its 1st position, and click in the auto Highbeams. This is superior to the earlier version because this allows for a fast override of the auto Highbeams when needed, whereas with the older version, you had to fish around for the auto Highbeams button and click it off if you needed Highbeams in a hurry.
      Hope that helps.

      Yes it’s orange right? That means you’ve pressed the off button for it, which makes the car keep its engine on at the red lights. If you want the car to use start stop, hit the button again to turn it back on, or turn the car off and restart it. The button is on the bottom right of the climate control it says “A off”
