I thought all of Deltas new 737-900 had the split scimitar winglets? What's the difference between this variant and the ones that do?

I'm amazed, that Delta (Atlanta's Hometown Airline) still has future deliveries of the the B-739 NG variation. They've purchased or leased so many Airbus products in the most recent past. I beginning to wonder, if their agenda was to reduce their Boeing fleet inventory to a new minimum. They're in the process of retiring all of their B-744s, and their B-763s, in lieu of the Airbus A-330-300s, and A-321-200s. Wow, the smoky condition from the vicinity's major wildfires, does reduce visibility to a fog level. Does it cause a burning feeling in your throat when you breath in this crap?

Okay, but I was beginning to believe Delta had a burr under their saddle, and were shutting down the Boeing pipeline of new aircraft. Yes, I'm aware, Airbus has assembly facilities in the U.S., but Boeing has assembly facilities in Europe; specifically in Great Britain. I'm guessing, Delta is also looking for a pricing leverage, and Airbus is the bargaining chip. When it comes to commercial passenger aircraft, Boeing is the most experienced in the business. Yet, when it comes to dollar expenditures, experience means little.

I'm not sure, if I'm following your thoughts, but what I believe you're attempting to state is this; You don't believe it wise for Airlines to order the B-737-8MAX immediately, but they should wait for something. What might that something be? A lot of Airline carriers already have many orders for this aircraft. Boeing intends to ramp up their production every couple of months, until they're able to produce 52 units per month.
