I served in the British Army in the 90s and we had little zipper inserts for our boots so we could zip them up quickly instead of tying laces , Karl had a point! Of course if you're really "in the shit" you'll keep your boots on , even in your sleeping bag.
Obviously you have never served. Any soldier knows you take your boots off at the slightest opportunity because they are constantly in pain, or at least unlace them even in the field.
Karl's brother unfortunately passed away a few years ago, he was also on the Jeremy Kyle show once(UK version of Jerry springer) and a program about people on benefits (welfare)
I remember seeing a clip of him from that programme. It was heartbreaking really. I met a lot of guys like that when I studied in Leeds, blokes you knew were just doomed.

my ex was a beautition and that electric facial thing is real, its called micro current and its actually really good. if i ever got one of those mega painful spots the ones where you cant even touch your as its painful, she would tap it with the micro current thing for 10seconds and within 10mins the spot would go down not be painful and inflamed it was best thing ever.

That's wild. Although there's no difference between falling at 30,000ft and 1,500ft because you'll reach terminal velocity and wont be falling any faster. Still pretty ridiculous and must have had some wild circumstances because most people won't even survive a 50ft drop unless it's into water.
