I’ve waited a long time to have a Fan made film that brings together John Barry’s Awesome music, and an extended version of the destruction Blofeld’s Laser would unleash on all the nuclear powers. Charles Gray has often been labeled as not being “evil” enough. Considering His Scheme must have killed thousands, that’s hard core!
I loved this version of the Space March, or however many titles have been used for similar Bond films. The weakness of this Bond film was, that even at 12, I knew that when they said the first laser had been produced by diamonds, was wrong. It was a ruby, encased in a mirrored casing, but using the impurities of the ruby, to produce the internal reflections, and thus coherent light. The same was later done with related gems, emerald and sapphire, and somewhere down the road, inspired by gosh knows what. whiskey.
The laser sequence in "Diamonds Are Forever" is my favorite part of the movie, solely because of John Barry's wonderful music. Thank you for this.
