I got a question given that it works on console. At least the Wiki says so. When u finish the lonesome roads dlc u get an extra special and an extra Tag skill if i recall correctly the game doesnt let u choose past special and stat cap. Back when i played PC i fixed that with console commands. So is it possible to outplay that Problem on console
@@1simp4RiasGremory I'm not entirely sure on console but I have started and finished the Lonesome Road DLC with 100 in all stats so I didn't see an issue at the time. That said I've also not played it for a while 🤔
For those who did not see the previous video, the Skills to 100 glitch will NOT work without the Old World Blues DLC. The Double Perks and Ammo glitches still work.
Does the pip boy placement have to be perfectly at the top? I'm sort of having trouble trying to even get it to glitch on the screen. Update I got it to work but my pip boy is lowering way faster than his I cannot figure out why. If anyone can help I'd greatly appreciate it kings❤
in the beginning you mentioned that you could pick any stats, tags, and perks. but in fact you need to pass a 25 barter or speech check at some point so you'd in theory need to tag one of those skills.
@@dougiexxtrillmoniumxx9727 tbf, unless you spent agges on character creation, it'll only take a few minutes to get back to this point. I'm in the same boat as you, have to restart, but unlike my last 2 characters, I didn't put any effort into the face, since you can pay to redo it later anyway.
Hey, a side note: the infinite ammo glitch also works with throwables too! Its the same application. Hotkey on the ammo, have whatever youre gonna chuck at in your hand, hit your reload button and itll do a pistol reload animation and yes your item model will like disappear and can't really use VATS after the first shot but you essentially have infinite free throws!
Yeap, that's right. It also works with melee but has a slightly different effect. Same thing, equip an ammo and then switch to a melee. Equip the ammo again and notice your melee strength goes up like crazy. I have taken out alpha Deathclaws with just one single hit from a razor melee weapon lol.
Very simple and easy to understand this is by far the most detailed and comprehensive new vegas guide I've seen. Keep up the good work and congrats on 10k!
Thanks so much Flow Films for sharing your feedback, I really appreciate that. It toke me a while to record and edit this one so your feedback is much welcomed. Hopefully this was a useful one, thanks for checking it out and for commenting.
You might mention to your viewers that some perks will disappear after you select them inside good springs. There is several that will stay when you are talking to Jed but a few perks will disappear or not carry over when you leave goodspings and rebuild your character so they actually waste perk picks. You can travel to Old World Blues if you have the DLC and find the parts for the auto doc and rebuild your character a 3rd time and finish maxing out your skills and perks but you still to my knowledge only get 50 perks. By the time you get to Old World Blues your skills should be around 95 in each and when you take the skilled trait for the 3rd time it will finish maxing out your character completely.
Hey Matt, your totally right. It's something that I actually did have in the video but as part of post processing I removed it because it made the video just that little bit longer which I did not very much like. That said in hindsight I really should have kept it in. Thanks so much for adding info to the video, much appreciated.
Why even play the game if you are going to play it like this? I understand if you have played the game a few times but if it’s your first play you just robbed yourself
Side note for skill levels, none of them after the second time you get to level up need to be over 84. Take all of them to 84 and in the base game area you can find all the skill books if you have comprehension to get the remaining 16 points you need, very nice in my opinion
PS for everyone curious, yes you can take the xp glitch to 50 so you can pick 2 separate lvl 50 perks... I picked just lucky to be alive and ain't like that now. first pick was ain't like that now so my karma reset, then just lucky to be alive at neutral karma.
Sadly because you could not attain much bad karma, Ain't Like That No More is not very strong because of it converting Karma points to Action Points, so as long as you don't mind missing out on that perk and "Thought you died" then having the extra perks is really good.
@@Pie_Romancer true but I was trying to get my build to use vats kinda heavy, plus I had nerves of steel or something like that. Also helps with vats. I was more after that attack speed increase. I'm running melee focused build and guns when I can't reach. The extra attack speed I believe stacks with slayer but didn't do any testing.
Just some tips Don’t get the Skilled trait yet because doing the xp glitch will take a bit longer also and while you’re at it listen to some music or something, it’s gonna take a while and make sure you don’t repair the leather armor if you have a ton because it will freeze the game Also I tried this on the ps3 and both exploits work but while popping the pip-boy up and down for the skill glitch (obviously save before trying) it doesn’t show the pip-boy at first until you press something if I remember right but other than that enjoy breaking the game
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and for confirming that it works. Yeah, in hindsight I should have mentioned taking the perk that helps speed up XP gains from the store. I probably should have also mentioned a couple of other things that would have helped too such as collecting and dropping the armor. That said, it's still a great way to get folks started and to get going.
I accidentally found out you just need one fully repaired leather armor in your inventory drop all the half health armor, not individually, pick it back up. It'll not show but you'll have the weight. Sell or store the one full leather, and all the half health armor should be shown. They'll have full durability. They will not show in your inventory if you have a legitimate full health leather armor.
Just tried this. Works great! There were some perks I had to select again but I ended up with a lot more then a normal run. It's roughly an hour grind for level 30 doing the action 2,273 times. Ann about 3-3.5 hours grind for level 50 doing the action 6,263 times for anyone wondering how long it would take them. Thanks for the O.P. glitch my friend!
Many thanks for doing the math and for telling us just how long it would take. It is certainly a long time to hit that max cap. Just to add, it can help a little by taking the Swift learning perk during the glitch as they would shave off a little time. Still, it's super hand to have your numbers at hand - thank you for sharing.
You can use the perks like swift learner but then your essentially loosing out on a extra perk. So if you max out the experience bonuses that's 3 perks and if you make use any of the bonus special stats for a perk unlock is also a waste of a perk, If your going to spend hours doing this you wanna get it right the first time. So make sure your specials are on the right numbers for all the good perk unlocks and ignore intelligence until the second part of the exploit. Even then you only need 5 for the unlock of speech stuff later on.
@notsuresomemush2977 Its worth saying that when you level up again you can effectively replace Swift Learner but as you say you do lose a perk slot. But it would help to speed up levelling up by some amount.
Really liked the video, it was very helpful and i noticed that when doing the rebuilt section, you can add all attribute points to luck and gain +2 skill points
That's absolutely right. It's a nice way to boost all your skills and at the same time help to build a higher critical hit build. Thanks so much for checking out my video and for your comment.
Fantastic, currently doing a full achievment run, just finished fallout 3 missed 6 achievments, (4 level up ones lol) and i missed scientific pursuits going straight to liam needon 🥺
I hope you have fun using this one. It's a great glitch and certainly worth doing. It helps me setting up for specific playthroughs as well as my channel content.
@@TrappedInFallout I don't like the double perks only because it ruins my time leveling up while playing lol I usually get legit max stats by level 38 with the skilled glitch only once from the world blues auto doc
The only level 2 perk I have been able to retain from the first part of the glitch is the Dead Money perks, like Junk Rounds or Light Touch. So instead the first perk I pick in Jed's store is Swift Learner, so the loop goes faster.
That's a very smart choice as it helps to level up faster. I really should have done that in this video to help the process along. Thanks so much for sharing chief.
@@matthewnation1294 I think throwing the odd point away in favour of more perks is not a bad thing at all, especially if it compounds to cause more damage or take less of it.
These are great points, I agree plus you are getting double perks so wasting two out of 50 to make the cheat glitch to level 50 go faster is not bad. I'll definitely do this!
Love the Guide! Been playing FNV since 2010 on Xbox and PC yet I never knew about the Pip-Boy Skill point glitch until I saw this guide! Perfect example of how to do it! Took me a few try’s to get the pipboy lined up but I managed and took all my skills to 50 figured I’d earn the rest lol put more then enough hours in the game and many many play throughs to cut myself a little slack and start with skills all at 50! Thanks again
Wow thank you so much for your comment and your vote of confidence, I really appreciate it. I do try my best and it always helps that I create what I love ha ha. Thank you for checking out my videos and for your support.
I didnt quite nail the max skills glitch, but after about 20 minutes of trying to do it I still felt grossly overpowered leaving goodsprings with all skills over 50 lol
It's one of the biggest downsides of being so overpowered a little too early in the game. Personally I use the perk and skills glitch but don't try to use the chet glitch. Unless if I'm going for a specific build.
That's awesome. Hopefully, that would have helped to get as many points as possible. If you still don't have 100, then you can get the remaining skill points by levelling up.
Thanks Flow lol. I really appreciate your comment buddy. I really enjoyed making this video, it toke me the better part of two weeks. But this is what a lot of folks have been asking and so I made it. Hopefully it will help out.
You missed one very important thing: You can change your gender during the rebuild & obtain Action Boy & Action Girl; giving you the highest AP possible. Example: select female initially, and during your first perk selections prior to rebuild select Action Girl. Then upon rebuild, change your gender to male, and select Action Boy. They stack. @@TrappedInFallout You have the best guides! I remember this exploit from way back in the day (minus the Skilled exploit). The TV show & this Skilled exploit being popularized has motivated me to finally come back to the game, and finally go for the “Complete All Challenges in one run” challenge which is absurdly difficult, but damn near possible. You have the best content out there.
For those wondering the perks that reset are those that require a certain amount of special points as well as cherchez la femme/black widow and lady killer/confirmed bachelor as for the rest i believe you just have to have the required points by the time you hit the level requirement but with this guide that should not be an issue (I love your videos they are short, sweet, and easy to understand which allows for some fine-tuning by viewers) in other words don't take gender and special perks during the first half to maximize perk retention
Thank you for your feedback. Just to add, you ac6can take gender specific perks and then during the PipBoy aesthetics you can switch your gender to also get the other perks which would have been otherwise locked away to you.
Bro this is such an awesome video hands down the best! Well explained and easy to understand what your doing step by step everything worked as it did in the vid 💪🏽 you earned a new sub! Btw with all those leather armour you receive alongside the ammo from Chet I chucked in a container and sold them for caps 😈
That's for your comment Death. It was by far my most complex video I have made to date and your feedback is much welcomed. Yeah, I end up doing the same. A nice little bundle of caps.
@@TrappedInFallout I’m so glad I came across your channel as I’m only just getting back into the fallout series of games.. nothing beats the older games tbh 76 was a downright disaster compared to these gems
@@deathtoming2201 I am trying to play some 76 but I just don't get the same immersive feeling that I get from playing 3, NV or 4. Its been decades now but I still play Fallout almost everyday.
To speak of the Goodsprings Chet exploit, on console, it took me around 9 hours to go from level 1 to 50. I also did the action boy/girl combo glitch with max agility to have 135 action points.
That great. Something I did not mention is that you can get perks that only apply while playing as male or female so this is a nice way to unlock both.
@TrappedInFallout one thing I noticed is that black widow and chez la feme were lost when I switched to male. Probably because of the dialogue options part of the perk only with the relevant player gender.
If you kill the powder gangers, every time you talk to chet, they will get 1 leather armor each, and given how many times you need to do that to reach level 50, you can get even more leather armor to sell.
Thanks so much Morglor, I felt the same way talking to you all. From time to time I do premier some of my videos as it's a great way to just hang out while the video players, I personally really enjoy it. I may do another if I hit anothet big milestone.
I will say doing the infinite XP glitch can be a pain to sit through so grab a bag of chips and or a drink, put on a movie or video on a different device and continue. Also also this glitch works as an Infinite Caps exploit as you can use the leather armour to sell at gun runners for a lot of caps, tho do not sell them all at once as you can sell the amount you need, and wait about 3 days in game for the vendor’s caps to reset. And boom a near infinite caps
Doing the ammo hotkey glitch also makes the ammo effect apply to the gun. Like beanbag rounds in a fat man (no explosion) can't wait to try this with avenger minigun and shotgun ammo
For anybody wondering how many times you have to do the barter/speech check if you get the swift learner perk 3 times you will get 33XP per barter/speech check so you have to do it 5,643 times which gives you 186,219XP in order to reach level 50 you need 186,200 in the vanilla game just check how many leather armors you have in your inventory to do that just go to “show me what you have for sale” and go to apparel and you will see the amount of leather armor/how many times you have done the barter/speech check not sure if intelligence effect the amount of XP you get but mine is at 6 before doing the rebuild glitch
Thanks Spurs for sharing your info, much appreciated. I didn't realize that's how many times you had to do it, I've done it myself by sitting for hours. Something you can do is to do it about 20-30 times which should give you enough to level up and then take the swift learner perk. This in turn will give more XP and will reduce the 5.6k down by a little, probably shaving off a large amount of time.
@@TrappedInFallout yes that’s with the swift learner perk I was getting 33XP per barter/speech check I had swift learner level 3 it took me about 3/12-4 hours to get all the way to level 50
@@TrappedInFallout but thank you for this amazing video I was almost done with the game and I started a new game once I found this video I ended up with 46 perks not counting the 2 traits you get and all skill at level 100

So with the 9mm ammo glitch. I accidentally figured out if you have 0 ammo for the explosive thumper gun. Switch to the 9mm,shoot, then switch to the 9mm ammo again in quick succession.. congrats you now have a mini mercy
Yeap, it's a great way to get a lot of ammo on almost all weapons. It's one of my personal favourite glitches. I tend to stack up on 9mm ammo and then use any weapon I want.
Hi again Andy, I just saw your comment on my members video and I really appreciate it. Thank you for being so supportive of the channel as a whole. It honestly helps so much and I personally appreciate it.
That's awesome Matthew, In really happy that I managed to make the video myself. It's one I have also wanted to make for a long time now so I am glad that it's out there now and hopefully helping out folks.
I also did the xp glitch till lvl 50, but old-school on a 360, but sold the stuff to chad and the doctor to begin with 100000+ caps, 200+ stims and other stuff. Even if it meant to sleep 3-4 days in-game time for the shops to reset. Couldn't wish for a better start and saves you from killing. Took me 15 hours to do so with the controlers and going away and such but was worth it.
When i did the xp glitch, i tried taking down joe cob with one shot but failed and had to take down the rest of the powder gangers , but when i finished doing the glitch you can go back to the body of the powder gangers and each unalived member as the same amount of leather armour you received with the glitch
Yes rats right. It's something I somehow totally forgot to mention during the video. It a great source of a lot of caps.....considering if you can haul all of it and then sell it in portions.
I thought i followed along exactly but i must not have, because i dont get a perk every level. Even so, i am happy with how i started out after watching this.
Thanks Dan, some perks don't carry over but they are mostly level 2 perks. Most of the others should do. As you saw in the video, I pretty much had double perks. That said any little extra helps so I'm happy that you found this one useful.
Your video was so easy to follow I was able to trigger the Pip first try; tragically streaming NV via PS catalog, is vanilla only so no Skilled trait 😢 Great video! A sub well earned 😎
Ok. Quick note, it's mandatory to have the pip-boy on fulm screen, the glitch only worked for me when doing it that way and not having on the edge of the screen.
someone showed me this vid and so far i love it! thanks for this btw and lol i just started playing the fallout games so im kinda new to these lol but also its so damn tricky with the whole pip boy glitch it keeps only letting me get my things to 80 before the damn character custom thing pops up ughh (NEW SUB)
It's a great glitch and it does help the process when venturing out for the first time. Thanks for your comment and for deciding to subscribe to the channel, I really appreciate it.
Do you have to have any dlc for the rebuild character glitch? Also thank you for making this video, I love still being able to use glitches in old fallout games
@@TrappedInFallout yea I couldn’t kill him in one hit. also if you do kill the other gangers 3 of the bodies also get the armor in their inventory when you talk to the merchant so you get triple amor…lol
@@MrFinour That's absolutely right, a very nice little bonus. I do wish sometimes that there were more vendors around but then again you have a nice stash of Armor.
It makes perfect sense. With the Alien Blaster your ammo is super limited so using this with the Alien Blaster is very powerful and OP. I use this glitch with melee weapons myself, turns melee weapons into one hit killing swings. Even Alpha Deathclaws go down like nothing lol.
If you're in console sometimes it'll take forever level up cuz you have to keep select an option over and over and over again if you are on PC it's super easy
Nope, not at all. I show it just to make it easier to track in the video what we got Vs what we have by the end of the video. Made it easier to compare basically.
The Ammo Glitch, it kinda baffles a plane oversight in programming. I mean, for the other stuff you have to do some sort of actual action like gettin your Pip-Boy Out at the right moment, or select specific dialogue. I just didn't knew this existetd. Also the "Infinite" Ammo Glitch, i remember doing it years ago by accident. I was Just testing a regular starting Route. But i never knew you could put ammo on hotkeys. Seeing this, i wanna play FoNV so badly. Ehh maybe in a few weeks (i would Love to Test them all on my Dusty-Old Ps3 but its broken so Play the waiting Game until i can use PC again)
I think a faire few of us found bugs and did not realize it was a bug. I personally have found things thinking it's totally normal. I even found unique weapon and armors never knowing it's a thing and had sold them off. But yes, some of the glitches need some extra out of the box steps to get working.
When all the skills are at a 100 already with the pip boy glitch, you could technically save a few extra perks from having the SPECIAL being maxed out. Strength can be maxed out with the implant and OWB dlc if you start at 7, while Agility can be maxed out from 1 through the Sierra Madre Return Outfit glitch. Since Agility is being set to 1, the extra remaining SPECIAL points can either go to Luck and Endurance at 9 respectively. Anyway, if I do exactly everything right with the pip boy glitch and Chet glitch, I become a literal demi-god of the Mojave. No mission too difficult, no sacrifice too great. Course it helps to clear OWB right after Dead Money, because let’s face it: Cazadores are scary 😅
Your absolutely right. Although I don't show how to Max out the Specials in this video, I will be showing how to pretty much start out with a crazy high stat boosts and well as twice as many perks. Also some other stuff to help along the way. I did want to actually but that would have msde the video a little too long. When I recorded the footage, it was over 2 hours long lol. It sure how but I managed to get all of that to just under 30 mins.
I totally agree EZ. In fact I may not have a lot of views on average across all content but I have a fair amount of comments on almost every single video and post. I also like to read and reply to all of my video comments and try to keep up with comments on community posts as it's something I really enjoy. Being in touch with the Fallout community is pretty awesome.
Bruh. I've played this game since it came out. And I'm currently doing the steps in this video 🤣 omg I'm going to have so much fun thank you Trapped 🙏🙏😃
No problem at all Robert, I love playing the games myself and it just so happens I love creating content for them too. Have fun, following this video will make you very OP - but I guess that's sort of the point here lol.
Will this showcase getting level 50 (and double perks) with logans loophole? It's a fairly obscure glitch, but given how OP logans loophole is its worth it if you want the most OP build. When you rebuild your character you'll get all the XP back. So if you were level 50, you'll level up back to 50. This is even the case if you take logans loophole. Thus you can get level 50 with logans loophole. You'll stop getting skill points after 30, but still get perks. With infinite skilled glitch that loss of skill points doesn't really matter though. If you took skilled, you'll only level to like 46 (because the minus 10 percent), but before you hit 30 you can still gain XP, and you can delay leveling by holding down a hotkey. So you can go back to chet and use the xp glitch till you max out xp, then finish leveling to 50. I don't know if this would be necessary with the new infinite skilled glitch, which I have not personally tried out yet. If you're really hardcore, you can delay leveling till you get to old world blues. You can still fight and what not while holding down hotkeys to prevent leveling. So you make all the way to the DLC, and get the autodoc tape to allow the third rebuild of traits. As long as you're still not above 30 (which again you prevent levling by holding down hotkeys) yet you can take logans loophole. And you'll still finish leveling up to 50 if you have all the XP backlogged. I've also used the hotkey delay leveling to get the intelligence implant in previous double perk builds. Just for optimizing. But, with infinite skilled that is not necessary I guess. I also have done this where I got skilled and wild wasteland out of goodsprings, got the alien blaster, then made my way all the way to old world blues and the autodoc. And finally got the third trait rebuild to get logans loophole and another trait (say built to destroy) with the alien blaster (but not wasting one of two trait slots on wild wasteland). Which would require holding down a hotkey to prevent levling the whole time. Like I said you can still fight while holding down a hotkey, so I killed the aliens with weapons from chet (forgot what I used tbh).
Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts. Sadly on this occasion I won't be showing Logan's Loophole as it will require a little too much to really help understand. That said I do plan to show it in a dedicated video of its own in the near future. It's a great glitch. Sure it tops you from levelling up but it does allow you some perks in other ways as you have said.
@@TrappedInFallout Ya I mostly wanted to drop the comment to put it out there that you can get level 50 (double perks) and logans loophole. I figured you already knew about it. Great channel btw. Really cool to see the new skilled glitch, that simplifies my double perks logan loophole build quite a lot. May make a new New Vegas character using that glitch to test it out.
@@copper4eva Thanks Copper, the skilled one is a great glitch, it's not new by any standard but it's seems to be a not so common one. I also plan to cover Logan's one also at some point in the future.
I have personally performed this combo of glitches 2 times, once on console and once on PC. Yes you are right, you will get all the levels you got in gs. Meaning you won't get set to level 30, it will keep the levels you would have lost taking the trait.
8h 169975 9mm arounds 25k armor later finally hit lvl 50 XD quick tip get survival to 100 asap so you can get roughing it for the well rested 10% extra xp and also get lessons Learned as soon as you can..helps a lot!
I want starting to say I play this game on PS3 without the DLC's I find a better, faster way for made XP without blocking you the Quests on Goodspring. If you have the Talk Skill to 40 and go to Primm to liberate Beagle you can have an option to intimidate him to talk. If you do it you will have 40XP automatically. DON'T FREE HIM! Continue to asking of the people's who shoot you and you have again the same choice and you don't need to break any quests or possibility to make good relationship with a faction. You just need to talk with Beagle without free him.
Oh wow, I had no idea about this one - I will have to check it out and see for myself. Thanks so much for sharing this one with me, I really appreciate it.
@@safwatwaleed4165 It's ok if your just looking to level up but not good as you do miss out on the double perks - which arguably is probably more valuable then XP gains - in my view anyway.
Sadly it seems on console the PipBoy does go down way faster. That said, as long as you can get a high enough number, you can get the remaining skill points by normally levelling up.
Yeah I sort of dropped the ball on that. That said in my defence you need the DLC for the skills glitch, all the other glitches shown in this video will work as shown without the DLC. And I do show the DLC glitch towards the end of the video also. Also, I actually did not know at the time. I've had the game with the DLC for years now and I play on PC. I dont own any consoles so I only recently learnt that some DLC content is not available on consoles.
YES! Yes, it works. The only requirement is that you need the Old World Blues DLC for the Skill 100 glitch but the remaining glitches all work in the base game with no DLC at all.
I have a question about the step where you level up by doing the barter speech check. What happens if you instead take the Intense Training Perk prior to proceeding to do the 100 skills step. Will you have extra SPECIAL points to spend on the rebuild character screen or do they not transfer over ans you need to get them again?
Sadly points from Intense Training do not transfer over. When you rebuild your character it forces all specials points to be reset. Points appear to transfer over later in the game but not during this instance.
When you do the pipboy glitch to get all your skills to 100, give yourself 10 in intelligence. It gives you more skill points each time you do the loop.
You should get more skill points when you level up but having a high int level will not directly cause the trait itself to give you more skill points per loop.
You can do it actually triple The perks though it does sometimes work sometimes doesn’t if you have the old world blues, DLC , Though most of the perks that require requirements will be gone for example, 10 perception or 50 intelligence 90 repair Though if it is level specific it Would stay I got all three karma perks With critical build right now so I’m feeling pretty much Hella Op I even one shot Lanius with a BB gun and it’s pretty funny😂😂😂
Actually that's not a bad idea, it's not something I have tried personally but I might give it a go and see what happens. Basically get three times the amount of perks which is just silly OP now.
@@Dragonflame690 Select the trait when you first create your character. Second, when you leave Goodsprings. Third, when you get to Big Mountain in the Old World Blues DLC.
When i did the setting skills to a hundred part i didn’t have the choice to pick skilled in the perks i only have built to destroy, fast shot, four eyes, good natured, heavy handed, kamikaze, loose cannon, small frame, trigger discipline, and wild wasteland.

Hey DragonX, I actually checked out your entire video. I have to say that it's not something I have done myself. A side effect of this glitch is if you go to kill all the powder gangers after you did the chet glitch, all powder gangers wearing leather armor will now have an insane amount of spare leather amrmor on them
Couple questions. When doing the xp glitch why only pick perks with level requirements? Do perks with special/skill requirements disappear during the rebuild glitch? Or was this just your preference? Also can anyone confirm this glitch will work for a hardcore play through? I assume difficulty won’t affect but I want to be sure before I commit… Thanks in advance!
All the glitches work regardless of the game difficulty. In terms of perks, that is based on your special points at the time. If your special points allow it then you should be able to take any perk that you want. I just went with level 2, level 3 etc just to make it easier to follow along in the video.
I got curious and wondered what does your SPECIAL thing have to be to choose any extra perks you want without diverting too much and got this. Trait: small frame S- 7 P- 6 (7 just gives you the broken lock one.) E- 7 C- 1 (all charisma required perks pacify animals, or gives companions damage resistance) I- 7 (can be 6 or 5 if you don’t care about an extra guess at terminals, but that issue isn’t relevant since you can freely change it later. Plus more skill points = easier time grabbing any eye catching perk that can maybe carryover.) A- 6 (small frame boosts it to 7. But you can leave it to 5 if you don’t care for some of the 7 agility required perks.) L- 6 I M P O R T A N T ! ! ! ! ! ! Oh and here’s a tip. The forums online and what actually happen on my end when doing the glitch sometimes didn’t align since they said educated carries over when it doesn’t for me. So whenever you’re about to level up and get a perk. Save the game, level up, get the perk your not fully sure will carry over then do the glitch. If you didn’t find the perk. Reload the save and repeat for another perk you want but aren’t sure will carryover. If it does carry over? Load the save, level up, get the perk, and continue Bartering some free xp till the next perk you aren’t sure will carryover then do this all over again. AND DON’T GET THE PERK THAT GIVES YOU MORE EXP BEFORE THE EXPLOIT! You’ll be stuck Bartering for hours regardless if you get it or not so only get it when the other perks aren’t interesting or won’t carryover.
Wow thanks so much for sharing that. I will double check it myself but I guess your saying that given you have the Specials above you should have access to every perk. Is that right?
@@TrappedInFallout not EVERY perk since to access all of them at once will require 6-7 in everything. This build will just give you access to all the useful/ more eye catching perks in the game. Side note. When making this, I couldn’t access any perks from dlc so I might’ve missed their special requirements when doing this.
@@TrappedInFallout I got bored and decided to look through the DLC perk requirements and yes. This build will let you get any or most of them if you want them before using the exploit without needing to re-spec everything beforehand. Either that or let you pick up all the ones you want immediately and get the ones you couldn’t get with this build after the exploit without an issue.
@TrappedInFallout left goodsprings with 3 ranks of demolition expert, grunt and bloody mess, couldn't get all skills to 100 but they were well above 70
Late comment. But I tend to be a man who doesn’t give up on his mission. And after spending around 3-ish hrs on the XP glitch I reached lvl 50! Benny is in for a holy ass whooping with all the perks I got now!!
It's nice when things come around full circle. Benny did take liberties and did take you out so it's only fair you return the favour. (Man I wish Benny could have been a companion just so I could send him into fun places like Querry Junction).
I just used this glitch earlier. When i found out the Quest "Back in the Saddle" got stuck in "Go meet Trudy at Prospector Saloon." because Ringo died. I cant advance any futher aside from going other questline.
If this is causing you issues with the main storyline then you can travel to Prim or Novac at which point you will be able to carry on with the main questline.

certain perks ive noticed dont crossover when you do the double perk glitch mainly gender related perks and ones that help boost stats such as swift learner i am curious on what other perks that would be lost
Does this work on Xbox specifically the 100 on all skills glitch ? Or does it require like desktop fps and M&K spam toggling pip-boys will it work with 30fps on a controller ? Edit: yes it does I just pulled it off on console with a controller so no the glitch is not dependent on fast performance speeds or the ability to more quickly spam your pip-boy via mouse and keyboard
I just found you tonight because my sister recently bought me an Xbox series x and my first game I bought from game pass/market place whatever it is lol was New Vegas I have all the DLC except dead money and I was wondering will the glitch to get a perk at every level still work or do I need all DLC for it to work? So little extra update to the chet part. If you decide to trade with him and sell the armour you can get all the stuff you want from him and the rest of his caps. If you save and load to main menu after level up and then load game. He re sets. So you could do it every level. I find it annoying to have to leave game every level so I do every perk level. Give you a nice stack of stimpacks and caps and stuff at start too.
These are some great tips, thanks for sharing. I really appreciate that. If I ever make another guide for this then I may include some of your tips, thanks.
Can confirm both the chet part and the pipboy glitch work on Luna and you get more perks. Certain perks I obtained like intensive training ones didn't stick but all the basic did. also at level 25 if int. is enough you can obtain a certain perk that give you at +1% bonus every level you are. Helps you grind the upper levels out. Also before the pipboy glitch I was level 50 but after it dropped me to 47. I did less intelligence on last run so maybe that's why.
@nicholasgerman5376 Yeah you basically get the exact same XP but that can be different based on the perks you had when you got the original XP. So your levels may be different between before doing the rebuild compared to after.
I tried using the ammo glitch on a fat man and got it to work perfectly once but had a thing where Esther, and later said fat man, wouldn't keep the ammo, I would shoot once and it would go back to the 1 mini nuke I had.
I have found that the ammo swap glitch does not work with all weapons and all ammo but it does for the bulk of it. I have personally not tried it on Esther but if a weapon uses the ammo it would use anyway then the ammo would go down.
Hey man its darkness again amazing to see thank you your helping so many old and new players with this guide all the ❤😊( is it different with the skills glitch because my pipboy falls much quicker in my game im on Xbox One S)

Are you using any mods? Can u tell me your modlist if so? I'm using a viva New Vegas installation and I can't get any of your exploits to work. Could Yukichigai Unofficial Patch be the issue?
@paramjitsarkar6414 I am actually only using one mod and that's the unofficial path to help prevent random crashes. I dont tend to use mods in my Fallout game content other than performance mods.
All the glitches shown in this video will work in any version of the game except the skill 100 glitch as that's the only one that needs the Old World Blues DLC installed.
Thanks so much Crack, I really appreciate your support and you checking out my video. Use the glitches with caution though, some say this turns the Courier into an OP Messenger 😄👍
Been loving doing theses glitches, but I was wondering if there’s any possible way to do the Chet glitch but with helping good springs instead of the powder gangers?, just because I don’t like them and would rather have the good standing with good springs
Sadly not. The glitch itself is a bug which sides with the Powder Gangers. Alternatively you can fix the reputation issue after finishing the steps of the glitch although that does mean more work.
It is possible to complete the tutorial and still do this glitch. In fact, it's best to do the entire tutorial before attempting to do this glitch because otherwise that quest will bug out and be stuck in the quest list forever.
Do these work on PC? I've tried on two installs now and can't get the Chet shakedown perk nor the Skills out of town glitch. I have it on Steam and Epic. I have the Ultimate Edition with all the DLCs. I've even tried without vanilla (no mods just DLCs) and with Viva New Vegas mods and nothing. The rebuild screen pops up but no extra skills given even after taking Skilled Perk.
To have access to the skilled trait you need the Old World Blues DLC. You don't need the DLCs for the other exploits/glitches but you do for the skills one.

When u finish the lonesome roads dlc u get an extra special and an extra Tag skill if i recall correctly the game doesnt let u choose past special and stat cap. Back when i played PC i fixed that with console commands. So is it possible to outplay that Problem on console

in the beginning you mentioned that you could pick any stats, tags, and perks. but in fact you need to pass a 25 barter or speech check at some point so you'd in theory need to tag one of those skills.
That's actually a very good point, I should have picked up on that. Yes either speech or barter would do it.

Thanks Some Channel, I really appreciate your feedback. It's certainly helped me in my own playthrough also.
Yeah that's right. Arguably it can be even a little lower as there are skill books in the DLCs also.
PS for everyone curious, yes you can take the xp glitch to 50 so you can pick 2 separate lvl 50 perks... I picked just lucky to be alive and ain't like that now. first pick was ain't like that now so my karma reset, then just lucky to be alive at neutral karma.
That's an amazing tip, thanks so much for sharing Matthew. It's part of the bonus if hitting every perk level twice ha ha.
@@TrappedInFallout just trying to spread the word on how broken and hilariously easy the game becomes provided you spend the points well.
Sadly because you could not attain much bad karma, Ain't Like That No More is not very strong because of it converting Karma points to Action Points, so as long as you don't mind missing out on that perk and "Thought you died" then having the extra perks is really good.

Going for the platinum on this game this will definitely help with my hardcore run !
It definitely will. It will give you a big boost to the beginning of your game.
Just some tips
Don’t get the Skilled trait yet because doing the xp glitch will take a bit longer also and while you’re at it listen to some music or something, it’s gonna take a while and make sure you don’t repair the leather armor if you have a ton because it will freeze the game
Also I tried this on the ps3 and both exploits work but while popping the pip-boy up and down for the skill glitch (obviously save before trying) it doesn’t show the pip-boy at first until you press something if I remember right but other than that enjoy breaking the game
Does the skilled perk require a dlc?
@@gbbatman7537 from what I could find yes. You need the Old World Blues expansion for it
I accidentally found out you just need one fully repaired leather armor in your inventory drop all the half health armor, not individually, pick it back up.

@@josh7352 your telling me 🤣
Many thanks for doing the math and for telling us just how long it would take.

@Coyotebible Fair enough, that works too. For me it totally depends on what type of playthrough I am about to start.
@@TrappedInFallout if your willing to throw a point then lessons learned helps dramatically but you waste a point better spent elsewhere.

Unless if I'm going for a specific build.
dude, the pip boy 100 skills bug was SO precise for me, i think it activated WHILE the pip boy was coming up lol

W comment. Never thought to try that with Action Boy/Action Girl. Time to start another FNV playthrough haha

That's absolutely right and I kick myself every time I realise that I totally forgot to mention that.
Sick glitches these. That ammo one at the end is unreal 😂
It's surprising very powerful. Try using it with a melee weapon instead and see what happens ha ha
Doing the ammo hotkey glitch also makes the ammo effect apply to the gun. Like beanbag rounds in a fat man (no explosion) can't wait to try this with avenger minigun and shotgun ammo
Short answer, yes 👍. The ammo strength and attributes carry over.
@@TrappedInFallout once I can get on again I'm def gonna do it. Was also thinking of minigun with 40mm rounds
@mobslayer9919 Sounds powerful. That said the mini gun will reap through rounds so quickly so you may need a decent amount of the 40mm.

Hey if you see this I wanted to say thanks, a ton of your videos have helped me in some of my experimental Playthroughs. Thank you.
Hi again Andy, I just saw your comment on my members video and I really appreciate it. Thank you for being so supportive of the channel as a whole. It honestly helps so much and I personally appreciate it.
Thank you for all the tips and tricks to finally make a death build
Lol this is sort of like a Demi-god build but I do see what you mean. It's too OP at so early in the game.
Great video coverage. I've been wanting a guide for this since I learned it was possible. 😅
Sounds like a godly start. Do make sure to save your game at this point that way you will not have to repeat this process again for new playthroughs.
@TrappedInFallout Question, So if I do the Skill point rebuild glitch first then the Lvl glitch will the lvl 2 perks I choose carry over?
@@calennosliw3669 Some perks are known not to carry over specifically for Level 2 but the majority of the other perks should carry over as normal.
Mam, so many good glitches to exploit and take advantage of here! An amazing collection of glitches you showed off buddy!😃🤘
Hey Reckless, thanks so much chief for your comment. Yeah, in this video I decided to combine the most OP glitch in the game so form.
Your video was so easy to follow I was able to trigger the Pip first try; tragically streaming NV via PS catalog, is vanilla only so no Skilled trait 😢
Great video! A sub well earned 😎
Thanks so much for your comment and for your support. Sadly yes, the skilled trait is only available is you have the Old World Blues DLC installed.
Ok. Quick note, it's mandatory to have the pip-boy on fulm screen, the glitch only worked for me when doing it that way and not having on the edge of the screen.
Yeah, the more your able to see the PipBoy, the higher you can set your skill levels too.
someone showed me this vid and so far i love it! thanks for this btw and lol i just started playing the fallout games so im kinda new to these lol but also its so damn tricky with the whole pip boy glitch it keeps only letting me get my things to 80 before the damn character custom thing pops up ughh (NEW SUB)
To perform the skills 100 glitch you do need the Old World Blues DLC, you don't need any DLC to perform any of the other glitches.
This literally made the game so much more fun to play.
Thank you so much!
No problem at all, I really hope that you enjoyed it.
Just a heads up if you can’t kill Jacob hidden in 1 shot it’s ok you can kill him and everyone else and the merchant glitch still works..
Thanks for sharing, your absolutely right. I tend to go with the sneak kills as it makes the process a little more easier and less messy.
My little brother got old world blues and I just so happened to remember watching this video lmaoo thanks man
Ha ha its a great set of glitches for sure and OWB is a pretty awesome DLC in itself.
hell yeah i’ve always done the ammo swap glitch to get infinite ammo on the alien blaster lol
Is taking a Perk that matches your level an important aspect of the glitch?
This comments section shows the community of FNV is very much alive and active any other vid with 5k views would have less comments than this.
I totally agree EZ. In fact I may not have a lot of views on average across all content but I have a fair amount of comments on almost every single video and post. I also like to read and reply to all of my video comments and try to keep up with comments on community posts as it's something I really enjoy. Like I tried the ammo glitch while doing the xp glitch with Chet, it worked first try and I'm throughly impressed
No problem at all Robert, I love playing the games myself and it just so happens I love creating content for them too. Have fun, following this video will make you very OP - but I guess that's sort of the point here lol.
@@TrappedInFallout you're awesome 😃🙏
Dawg the Pipboy glitch with Skilled trait is a life saver. Now I can do multiple playthroughs without grinding.
Yeap, even better if you create a save file just after doing this. You can then start a new playthrough after this save file.
@@TrappedInFallout
Ya I mostly wanted to drop the comment to put it out there that you can get level 50 (double perks) and logans loophole.
PS taking skilled slows exp gained but only by 10 percent so it will take 10 percent longer to level. You can still hit lvl 50 with skilled vanilla.
8h 169975 9mm arounds 25k armor later finally hit lvl 50 XD quick tip get survival to 100 asap so you can get roughing it for the well rested 10% extra xp and also get lessons Learned as soon as you can..helps a lot!
Many thanks for sharing your advice Finour, I am sure that it will help out a few folks.
I want starting to say I play this game on PS3 without the DLC's
I find a better, faster way for made XP without blocking you the Quests on Goodspring.

Hi Mo! I can see why it is important to pick the Skilled Perk for the 100 in all skills but why must you pick Wild Wasteland as well?
It's just something I picked, you dont have to. Also you can pick whatever skill you want during the last loop so that works also.

Sadly that Skilled perk is a part of DLC.. /:
I was so confused 😢
Sadly yes, it is.
However all the other glitches should work as shown.
indeed ! @@TrappedInFallout
When you do the pipboy glitch to get all your skills to 100, give yourself 10 in intelligence. It gives you more skill points each time you do the loop.
You should get more skill points when you level up but having a high int level will not directly cause the trait itself to give you more skill points per loop.
You can do it actually triple
The perks though it does sometimes work sometimes doesn’t if you have the old world blues, DLC ,
Though most of the perks that require requirements will be gone for example, 10 perception or 50 intelligence 90 repair
Though if it is level specific it

Couple questions. When doing the xp glitch why only pick perks with level requirements? Do perks with special/skill requirements disappear during the rebuild glitch? Or was this just your preference?
Also can anyone confirm this glitch will work for a hardcore play through? I assume difficulty won’t affect but I want to be sure before I commit…
Thanks in advance!
Trait: small frame
S- 7
P- 6 (7 just gives you the broken lock one.)
E- 7
C- 1 (all charisma required perks pacify animals, or gives companions damage resistance)
I- 7 (can be 6 or 5 if you don’t care about an extra guess at terminals, but that issue isn’t relevant since you can freely change it later. Plus more skill points = easier time grabbing any eye catching perk that can maybe carryover.)
A- 6 (small frame boosts it to 7. But you can leave it to 5 if you don’t care for some of the 7 agility required perks.)
L- 6
I M P O R T A N T ! ! ! ! !

I just used this glitch earlier. When i found out the Quest "Back in the Saddle" got stuck in "Go meet Trudy at Prospector Saloon." because Ringo died.

@samwhite414 Thanks so much Sam. I have a plan, one thing I would love to do is to push out more videos at the same quality.
Man, You deserve every sub you get!
Thanks so much for that complement. I do try to keep in touch with folks in the comments and I do my best on the video quality front so it means a lot reading your comment, thank you I Regret Nothing 😄👍
This video is amazing as im about to start a new playthrough as i just got the game of the year edition on steam and this will help me out heaps
Thanks so much for sharing your feedback. I really appreciate that. Wish you lots of fun with this one, thanks for your comment.
Hey man its darkness again amazing to see thank you your helping so many old and new players with this guide all the ❤😊( is it different with the skills glitch because my pipboy falls much quicker in my game im on Xbox One S)
Hi Darkness, thanks so much fo checking out my video and for your comment. I really appreciate it buddy. Yeah, sadly the PipBoy moves faster on consoles but its still possible to get a good enough number which is nice. You can get the rest through levelling up normally.
@@TrappedInFallout ok thank you
@@Darkness45825 No problem at all 👍

Hi Imonke, thanks so much for sharing your list with us all, much appreciated.
Do i have to be in the dialogue bar with chet until im lvl 50? or could i exit out and put im my stats and perks whenever and save.
Yes, you can exit, diatribuypur points and choose your perks. Then save and take to Chet again and continue to get more XP.
⚠️ WARNING ⚠️ FOR THOSE WHO CAN'T GET IT TO WORK. YOU NEED GOTY/or OLD WORLD BLUES DLC.... if you have neither, DON'T EVEN BOTHER!!!
All the glitches shown in this video will work in any version of the game except the skill 100 glitch as that's the only one that needs the Old World Blues DLC installed.
Nope
i’m def trying this next play through! i’m assuming this works in pc as well?
Yeap it 100% does. In fact I play on PC and this video was recorded on PC (Steam).
Made me subscribe, amazing video!
Yes, you can complete the tutorial and then do the glitches since the tutorial zone is inside the game zone before the Pipboy is triggered.

Strange, it should be working. Try again with and without selecting the Wild Wasteland trait and see if that helps. It has for some folks.
Why don’t I have the skilled trait? I’ve done everything I was supposed to but no “skilled” trait
To have access to the skilled trait you need the Old World Blues DLC. You don't need the DLCs for the other exploits/glitches but you do for the skills one.
