I have a cattle dog I picked up off the street in Baja 4 1/2 years ago. She was very skinny and sick. Had to teach her English, never been in a house or car! Now after months of training she is such a good girl! I love my Luna!

I'm with you--I don't mind a good doggy kiss (which is a good thing because our Riley is a kisser and a half, he's quite promiscuous with his kisses, whereas our Cian guards her kisses like they're in For Knox)! But some people really don't like dogs to lick them, especially on the face. Just personal preference and Renee is by no means alone in not wanting quite so many kisses.

My daughter worked for years at a no kill dog rescue. People would take a dog home and bring it back one or two days later saying it didn’t work out. It takes 4 to 6 weeks for a dog to settle in and learn the routine for you to understand the dog. People pick dogs from shelters on the weekends without considering what it’s gonna be like when they’re gone all day during the week. Lola hit the jackpot with you guys. Pollux is living proof.

It is so obvious that you are Lola's person and she is showing you love. It takes several weeks for a rescue dog to settle in and she seems well on her way to becoming accustomed to her new home. Lola is so fortunate to have been rescued by you both.
I have 5 rescue dogs. 2 yrs ago I had 7, 2 went to Heaven. Tomorrow I help with pet adoptions at Petsmart, where dogs come from the shelter. As you can tell I’m a total dog person. It’s great that Lola gets along with Pollack and Maxie, that doesn’t always work out, you are blessed. This was truly your best video, and when you rescued Pollack, that was amazing. She is an absolute doll! It warms my heart to see her and Pollux run and play. And Maxxie supervising! I believe I shared that my German Shepherd (Sophie) came from Puerto Rico (she was sent here by the rescue in PR to a local to me German Shepherd rescue). I saw her on Petfinder but I wasn't really looking to adopt a dog. She also had a very sad story. She stayed in the President of the PR rescue's house for 11 months while she nursed her back to health before sending her to Maryland (where I live). The President of the rescue was very attached to her, and when she came to DC for a conference, she got in touch with my husband and I and asked if she could see Sophie. Of course we said yes and it was a very fun get together. We believe Sophie recognized her but she was very bonded to my husband and I so no issues there. Anyway, she passed away in 2022 and we miss her terribly. I wish you many happy years with all 3 pups!
There can never be to many videos of your fur babies. I love seeing and hearing about them. Maxi, Paulax, and Lola are so cute and make me laugh with their funny antics. I have no doubt many of your viewers feel the same way and love watching and hearing about your puppies. And that’s what’s nice about RUclips, if it’s something someone’s not interested in watching then they can skip that video and move on to something else. It looks like Lola is the perfect fit for your family…she seems pretty chill.❤

my aunt and uncle had an austrailian cattle dog, bigger than her though. he was THE BEST, easy going, hung out with us kids and went with us everywhere. i loved him soo much.

Love all 3 of your dogs, but there is a special place in my heart for Maxy. I had a Schnauzer as a kid, he was so sweet. I used to dress him in baby pj’s and play with him like he was a doll.

Welcome Lola!! Such an awesome thing for you and Randy to do. She is such a sweetie! I have a daughter who lives in Wisconsin who is a foster for a rescue group that caters to senior dogs and dogs with disabilities. Some of the things these dogs she has fostered have been through during their life are just atrocious, so thank you for sparing us the details of Lola’s life on the farm. I’m so excited because she will be bringing her latest foster home to Michigan over Thanksgiving for a visit and she says he is such a love. This is her 6th foster and she has loved every single minute of it. All of the other 5 have found fantastic homes and she stays in touch with them as well. It’s very hard on her though when they move on to their new home, but she knows that just means she can now help another wonderful senior find a new life and that helps heal the sadness she feels. ❤ Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!!

She seems very balanced for a shelter dog! She's beautiful. I got my dog to not jump & not lick my face. I follow Cesar Millan the dog whisperer. Try a treadmill for extra exercise! He has videos on how to do that. So happy you rescued her!

All of my dogs have learned to walk on a treadmill. Lifesaver on rainy and snowy days! We have a full size one so we can walk on bad weather days, too, but you can buy a "dog" size one, too.
She’s just perfect and l think you have her suspected breed mix correct. 1 week in - she’s settled in so good❣️🌟 Pollux’s little tail wagging on the couch looking at her- so cute. Have a great week, this is going to be fun. 🧡
She is such a sweet and happy girl!! That shelter must be fantastic! Working in rescue, we get dogs out of shelters that are anything but sweet and happy because they've been so stressed in the shelter. Most the dogs we get out of the shelter that aren't sweet and happy come around in a couple of weeks, but Lola hasn't been out that long. And I, for one, will never get tired of you talking about your dogs!! If her energy level gets to be too much, I've got some great tips (especially for those yucky days when walks just can't happen--I live in East Tennessee and, believe me, I understand that some days walks just cannot happen due to weather).

We have always had 4 dogs!!!! Yikes but now we are down to one...we MISS not having our gang!!! But due to our ages...we feel not fair to get new dogs now!! We had a bunch of huge stuffed animals that they all use to lay on in front of our fireplace..we MISS those days 🐕🐕🐕🐕
Awww we also always had 4 dogs(all rescues). Currently we have 4 fur babies but like you this will be our last due to our ages. They bring us so much love and joy and I prefer their company over most people!! I cannot imagine life without a dog 💕

All of my dogs have learned to walk on a treadmill. Lifesaver on rainy and snowy days! We have a full size one so we can walk on bad weather days, too, but you can buy a "dog" size one, too.
She’s just perfect and l think you have her suspected breed mix correct. 1 week in - she’s settled in so good❣️🌟 Pollux’s little tail wagging on the couch looking at her- so cute. Have a great week, this is going to be fun. 🧡
She is such a sweet and happy girl!! That shelter must be fantastic! Working in rescue, we get dogs out of shelters that are anything but sweet and happy because they've been so stressed in the shelter. Most the dogs we get out of the shelter that aren't sweet and happy come around in a couple of weeks, but Lola hasn't been out that long. And I, for one, will never get tired of you talking about your dogs!! If her energy level gets to be too much, I've got some great tips (especially for those yucky days when walks just can't happen--I live in East Tennessee and, believe me, I understand that some days walks just cannot happen due to weather).

We have always had 4 dogs!!!! Yikes but now we are down to one...we MISS not having our gang!!! But due to our ages...we feel not fair to get new dogs now!! We had a bunch of huge stuffed animals that they all use to lay on in front of our fireplace..we MISS those days 🐕🐕🐕🐕
Awww we also always had 4 dogs(all rescues). Currently we have 4 fur babies but like you this will be our last due to our ages. They bring us so much love and joy and I prefer their company over most people!! I cannot imagine life without a dog 💕
