- In today's video, I have the pleasure to unbox the latest limited edition release from Davidoff of Geneva, the Davidoff Aniversario No. 1 Limited Edition 2023. This is an absolutely epic 8 2/3" by 48" cigar. Sold in a box of 10 with a wooden travel tube, this is a beautiful cigar that I look forward to smoking.
In addition to the Aniversario No. 1's, I look at two other 2023 Limited Edition Releases from Davidoff:
🔹 Davidoff Millennium Lancero Limited Edition 2023
🔹 Davidoff Signature No. 1 Limited Edition 2023

As a novice in the cigar world this is and maybe the best cigar I've ever had. Perfect smoke/time. Was able to get 5, now down to 4.
I love davadoff number 2
Davidoff does a great job. By far my favorite non-Cuban brand.
love them, they are extraordinary cigars they worth every penny!!! enjoy sir
We used to buy Cuban Cohiba lanceros in France when working there. We would go their official outlet in Paris back in the 90’s and buy boxes, as they weren’t insanely expensive then. There are so many quality cigars available now from so many manufacturers that I don’t really miss them- as the quality of many cigars now is wonderful.
The Millennium is my favorite cigar of all time, and I'm a sucker for Lanceros. So when the Millennium Lancero came out, I had to buy 2 boxes. Beautiful cigars, can't wait to smoke through them over the years as they age.
How do u keep them aged well ?
@@MoeZahria I have a NewAir 250 humidor, which I have all of my collection in and using for context to my experience. For my preferences, I keep my humidor at 69 degrees F (not sure of C off the top of my head, if you use that), and my humidity I keep between 65-67%. Certain cigars are great for aging, some cigars don't have aging in mind and are meant for smoking on the short term, which is important to keep in mind when aging is the goal. But consistent humidity and temperature has gotten the best results for my collection. For my own pleasure, I feel the 65-67% humidity is the perfect humidity to pull out a cigar to smoke right then and there, but also is great for letting cigars rest long term. One cigar I smoked recently is 2 years old now, and it's even better than when I first bought it (and I loved it enough to buy a couple boxes when it was available). But I think of it all as a science experiment and personal preference of what does and doesn't work for the smoker's preference. Some people prefer to age cigars in traditional cedar humidors, but mine is a NewAir which is basically a wine fridge the company turned into a humidor. For me, I'm having a very positive outcome with it
Smoke them now not good with ageing
@@user-co8xn9sz5n Strongly disagree, but to each their own
I wanted to write that. Fav one of all i smoked so for. The taste is aaaawesome ❤ i love it
What a great video Kirby ,it’s good you showing the latest from davidoff and your collection of high end attire❤️💚🇬🇧
You should go to the ProCigar festival next year. I toured Davidoff and A. Fuente, both spectacular state of the art facilities and it was a great educational experience. Not to mention the food, drink, music and culture and the chance to meet cigar professionals from D.R. and around the world.
The short perfecto is simply outstanding ❤
Beautiful Cigars... thankyou for sharing Kirby.
Currently waiting on Davidoff WSC Belicosos to arrive.
Wonderful Cigars time after time.
Davidoff has excellent attention to detail that I love. I watched a video on their production and it's quickly apparent what you're paying for.
LOVE!
Another new beauty...Davidoff Millennium Petit Corona 😘
wonderful
Yours is a life truly blessed Kirby
Great add to your collection. My favorite Davidoff is the The Late Hour series Churchill. It's more full bodied with loads of leather and chocolate. I smoke a fair number of Cubans and the LH is an excellent stick that steps up to something in range of Bolivar with strength, where Anniversarios are closer to Hoya de Monterrey in mildness.
Watching this while smoking one of my last Rocky Patel ALR cigars (which have been excellent), I’ll have to look into getting a box of these for my humidor. Thanks for the recommendation!
Great video Kirby. I really enjoyed the Davidoff Nicaragua box pressed robusto and the Winston Churchill Toro. Was lucky enough to be gifted a Cuban Davidoff Chateau series (Petit Corona size) and that was an extraordinary smoke. Cheers.
I bought a box of the maduro limited edition. I will ahead them for...as long as I can before smoking them. I love Davidoff's refinement and plalate exquisite profiles. The top tier of luxury endulgence.
The davidoff dominican is my #1 cigar. Recently I've discovered the tabernacle Havana seed 42, wow a great cigar that's my #2.
I gave my friend a No.2 Series 2000 for his birthday, beautiful cigar.
I am getting a box of these right now!
Imo you should cover more non-cuban cigars. Some are equal/greater to cubans. My Father Jaime Garcia being an example (and favourite cigar! :D ).
The Dominican Republic version of the Aniversario #1 was sold starting in 1992. They were sold until 2016. I got several at Faders in Baltimore (1992) for $22. I look forward to getting
a couple next week in Washington D.C.
While marketed as a beginner cigar, I still stand behind the Signature No. 2 by Davidoff. It is such a pleasant smoking experience and while I can equally enjoy a more powerful smoke like a Bolivar or Padron, the No. 2 is my consistent go-to.
This was a fantastic cigar!
I highly recommend you try it if you can get hold of a stick
Recently Bought a single one of these Behemoths in Davidoff London - It now resides in my humidor in Melbourne, though I think it'd knock me over if I tried to finish it all in one go!
Hey Kirby, is it possible to over look your personal humidor ? It would be a nice video. Cheers
Kirby you should come to the Tobacco Junction lounge in Longview TX they have an excellent selection of Davidoff and the largest humidor in Texas!
I am such a huge fan of Davidoff cigars and I have particular fondness for both the Signature (#2) and the Millennium. I'm kicking myself that I was not aware of the Millennium being released in Lancero size and now am struggling to find them!
I'm so glad there was a 10th in the wooden tube! Enjoy
Has anyone else heard cuba is having soil issues? And it’s negatively affecting their cigars?
It's depleted, heavily.
@@humblesamb9920 growing marijuana would help
Kirby, I love that background music! Who's the artist?
👍 👍
I love dom perginons and how are Eddie and Edward
Where did his humidor stock video go!?
Do you recommend any cigar/s for a new smoker good and affordable
Alec Bradley is a great affordable cigar. Liga Privada #9 as well. But buying a cigar individually is the best way to learn what you like and don’t like. Take your time, don’t rush it, you will develop a palette of your own. The Davidoff #2 is my favorite cigar of all time
@@fasterthanyou7605 thank you for your tips and recommendations
Grand Cru 2
Macanudo is a good place to start. Also some Perdomo (highly underrated New World brand). The Perdomo 10th Anniversary Champagne is a great starter. 👍🏼
This might be a stupid question to ask but may as well, do those cigars expire? Let’s say I buy it and want to smoke it 20years later is it possible
To last they need to be stored in a proper humidor to control temp and humidity.
Dont wait 20 years anyways.
Have you thought any more about trying to Smoke a Pipe? @ Kirby
Kirby I really enjoy your videos would you sponsor my sons little league team?
What is meant by the term “New World Tobacco“? I am not a newbie to cigars, but I’ve never heard this term
Anywhere that's not Cuba.
I am horrified that you do not sport smoking shoes, Kirby. Please do a full length video on matching hogies to shoes. It's a long overdue necessity. We demand it!
Only cigar I smoke.
Ive had a few Davidoffs, not a big fan. Fuente is where its at!
I am smoking a Cohiba Club.
Thanks for the video.
The issue is, they have too many limited editions and changes… it’s difficult to keep up with it, and honestly most of the time the changes are so minor it could even be considered one of their regular releases.
Great cigars .. I bought the three limited editions of 2023 already ... but strange choice from you to talk only now about last year Davidoff limited edition whhile the brand just released three 2024 limited cigars fro the Maduro line ...
Love your channel …hipe you can have an episode about casual wear like what would kirby allison wear when the occasion calls for “ dressing down “ thanks
Probably switch from a 3 piece to a two piece.
👌😚💨
Once upon a time all new world was rolled in Cuba…
I never compare Cubans to new worlds. They are completely different and serve different purposes. An elite Cuban (think, H-Upman No. 2, Trinidad Fundadores, Behike 52, etc.) to me, is like a '57 Corvette... an elite new world (think Davidoff Oro Blanco, Royal Release, Opus X 20yr Anniversary, Padron 1964 Anniversary, etc) is like a 2024 Lambo. The same way you would never compare those two cars is the same way you can't compare new world vs. old world cigars. They can both be exceptional in their own right.
Completely 1 million percent agree with this! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Why is he always got the limited edition first 😅
I like stopping by their shop in Geneva although their cigars are overpriced and overvalued.
Sorry to ask, are you neurodivergent please? Im adhd and im getting a sense you're built like me, could be wrong, love the videos, spread your wings in the uk on bespoke shoe makers, come to Yorkshire or maybe Lancashire. Aysgarth falls in Yorkshire is amazing for the family, seriously love your channel, keep going with things, I hope you and family are good 😊
Davidoff are massively overpriced.
Hell no, in my opinion, they ALWAYS deliver quality!
They are pretty pricey
@@myggenz1172 so that means what ever the insane price they charge it's okay because they always deliver ahaha
I agree! Tried a few and they’re nice but not worth them being double what cigars just as good cost
Nothing beats Cohiba for overpriced.
To be totally honest, this video felt a little bit "hasty" for me.. maybe it was just the enthusiasm but i felt like you were in a hurry.. I feel that you speak more relaxed in other videos, taking more time almost.. Just take your time I would say.. just some feedback, no critique..
All junk for how much they cost, you can get way better sticks for less money.
Cuban cigars are overrated.
This channel fell off huh
How?
You're not well dressed; you're just expensively dressed. Big difference. There's no quality or craftsmanship in anything you're wearing. You're just thinking more money = "mUsT BE gOOd!"
He isn’t into quality, tradition, or craftsmanship. He’s into partnering with overpriced junk peddlers who use pomp and snobbery to sell their shit.
Everyone I’ll spare you his commenting history. Shockingly it’s trollish.
All this dude does now is review cigars. What a shame
True his channel is rather Cigar heavy recently but i think only one of his last six videos has been about Cigars... Hardly all he does.
What’s wrong with that?
Not true at all.
Say what? I don't care enough to get the actual stats, but I think under 25%, by far, are cigar reviews.
Really? I was just wondering when there was going to be another cigar video coming up since the last like 4-5 vids were not about cigars.. I am quite looking forward to the visit of Eddy and Edward since the walk in humidor is now finished!
Did the Italy trip turn out to be a bust?
