Great video brother, thanks for the attention to detail descriptions. I just got one yesterday and didn't realize it had a plastic spur til I saw your video, I thought it was awful quiet lol. What brand upgrade do you recommend in mod .6 ? I am a speedrun guy coming from the SCY16102 1/16 platform expanding to this pretty nicely designed 1/10 so your great videos will help me cut my learning curve w this rig tremendously, thank you again

That's so funny you just uploaded this video, I literally just broke ANOTHER spur gear...damn plastic. I guess I'm gonna grab the metal spur gear on amazon
@@MattysRCWorld it is frustrating, get the metal gear and you won't have anymore problems until you really try and push the truck to 6s or above 62mph
I'm pissed...this is the 2nd spur gear I've stripped...I hate plastic sometimes...and I'm talking about the laegendary thunder all stock

@@MattysRCWorld you'll enjoy the Thunder, it's a great budget truck. Check Scorched Rc for parts, it's just a rebranded FTX carnage and they stock everything you need.

@@da6thmane094 the M0.8 won't fit the stock slipper, I modified some traxxas slipper units to work in my Thunder, there's a video about the slipper conversion.
