They are languages, since they won't understand most of what these tongues mean.

It’s crazy how this pidgin language evolved into a creole language. i hope they standardized and formally teach chavacano in schools now.
As what my coworker told me Chavacano is broken spanish. For the entire Philippines, they use 85% spanish language in their daily lives.
Not the entired philippines. In zamboanga maybe. In cebu the spanish that we speak are just a few words and i dont think it totals to 85%
