No matter how many times I see these guys outside of Always Sunny, I cannot get over how much their characters are just slightly exaggerated versions of themselves. The only one that's not quite so close is Charlie. But he's in there...

I genuinely love that almost twenty years after going into business together they still obviously are very good friends who still deeply enjoy being around each other.

As an Irish person can I just say how much I appreciate Charlie saying "Irish-American whiskey" and not just "Irish whiskey" when referring to an American product.
There’s more to it than Charlie being reverent. It’s not just an Irish style whiskey made in America. It’s an Irish whiskey blended with an American rye whiskey.
Mac always telling the gang facts even if they might be right or wrong is what got me 😂

THE BOYS ARE BACK IN TOWN
I’ve been to 50 + football stadiums in the uk and never seen fish n chips sold. It’s usually sausage rolls, meat pies and burgers. Also we just don’t have tarter sauce with fish n chips! Every chippy sells ketchup, gravy and curry sauce.
The tar-tar sauce bit is like a scene straight from Sunny
It’s great that these guys have been together for a long time and still have fun and make each other laugh.

The ketchup dip trick was taught to me by a friend & I can vouch that it both tastes good & still feels wrong.
I went to visit a friend in Jersey but worked construction in Philly. We went to Max’s steaks and the whole crew order it with ketchup and I was so confused…so I did the same. Life changed lol
Steak and cheese is meant to be eaten with a lil ketchup. No shame in a little sweetness added to the savory. Ketchup snobs, get over yourselves.

that’s because they write the show and they put a little bit of them in the characters
The way that they are just more mild and less horrible versions of their Sunny characters is amazing lol. The entire tartar sauce conversation felt like it walked out of Sunny

I’m a big fan of a lot of the people y’all feature on this show BUT this trio takes the cake! IASIP is my favorite show ever and the way that these three guys interact (especially listening to them on their podcast) is the best, there’s never been better comedic chemistry!
