    You got to string it with higher tension or remove the lead at the hoop so to have that control over power

    @chadallen3211 Месяц назад

    You should try playing with a Blade Pro V9. Totally different racket that does everything better than the retail Blade.

    They’ve reverted back to how the older blades were the ncode and k factor they had more power than these current blades which is why they had 93sq inch and 95sq inch and 88 and 90 sq inch versions

    i think you will like it but i think u should still stick with radical as it suits your game slightly better

    I gotta say, aesthetically speaking, that is a beautiful racket! What was with the rubber band on the strings? Is that like a DIY dampener or something? Thanks and congrats on 7K!!!

    • @MPTennis
      @MPTennis  6 месяцев назад

      Yes it is! Elastics can serve as a substitute for a vibration dampener. Works well. Many legends of the game used to do this like Agassi, Sharapova, and many many others

    It looks like your review was coloured by a low string tension.

    How would you compare it to the solinco whiteout? Ive been playing with the Whiteout 18x20 and love it. But have also loved playing with previous Blades.

    • @MPTennis
      @MPTennis  6 месяцев назад

      I personally enjoyed the whiteout series more than the blade. I would probably pick any whiteout over the blade. Just my opinion.

  • @glademaster
    @glademaster 6 месяцев назад

    I noticed the Blade feels/sounds/plays very different at the center of the sweet spot (two crosses over the middle) versus everywhere else. Could that be the cause of the inconsistency you experienced?

    • @MPTennis

      Honestly I have no idea hahah. In general just very powerful. Which was unexpected

    What is “window 1”? Means one net height over the net?

    • @MPTennis
      @MPTennis  6 месяцев назад +1

      Yes..or like the size of a window above the net. Window 2 would be stacked above that and window 3 above that etc. At times my ball goes through window 2 or 3 and doesn't penetrate the court enough

    The swing weight QC is so so bad on these. I had 10 frames and there was a difference of 25 points heaviest and lightest. Its just unacceptable. They have only tightened up on the static weight and the balance

    How different are these than wilson lab blade pro?

    • @hybrid11theory75
      @hybrid11theory75 6 месяцев назад

      Blade Pro is a pure graphite layup without any tech in it. Mold is also completely different. They aren't similiar to retail Blades....

      @@hybrid11theory75 sure but i want to know how different

    • @hybrid11theory75
      @hybrid11theory75 6 месяцев назад +1

      @@BambotbAs I said, they're two different kind of racquets. BladePro is an H22 mold that has more power and plow due to higher stock SW and thicker beam. Sweetspot is more defined and off centre hits are quite jarring....

  • @johns6481

    Probably should spend more time with a racket before reviewing it if you haven’t even found the right string setup yet.

    • @MPTennis
      @MPTennis  6 месяцев назад

      I love my string and putting it in a different racquet will tell me a lot about it. If I HAD to play the blade (knowing what I know now) I would put a stiffer string in it. Ex: Sync, Alu, confidential.
