Thanks mate, legend !

I studied a few of your videos until I felt confident enough to give it a go on my own truck. I used the permatex auto headliner adhesive. I sprayed as quickly as I could, overlapping 50%. Once I was done spraying half the headliner, and half the fabric, I flipped it. As soon as the fabric touched the headliner it was stuck. I couldn’t adjust anything, and everything got ruined 😭. Now I have half my headliner all filled with glue.
I have a few questions if anyone could answer..
1. What did I do wrong?
2. Why did the glue stick so quickly? (allowing no adjustments) (it also ripped when I tried to pull it)
3. How do I get my glue off?!
P.s. my headliner is fairly weak. Just a thin layer of fiberglass, and foam.
Thanks for reaching out to us mate, I'm about to load up a video this week regarding using spary can glue. And how many cans are required.
This is one issue that can always go wrong is the placement of fabric to the board, and once stuck, sometimes with certain styles of headliner board material, or fsbric styles , it can't be adjusted, without the possibility of causing a mess.
Our material, generally allows for mutiple moving around on the board, our Glue we use, Tensorgrip T51 or T65 definitely allows for longer dry time and usability.
But like I said, some headliner boards have zero tolerance to errors made in placement of fabric once stuck. The Truck headliner board your working on, may be this style.
Stay tuned for that newer video of us using Permatex Carpet headliner adhesive out of a Can.
