I balked at the price I was quoted for my 12yo Audi. I found a new appreciation for the hard work that goes into it. Even if I had the tools, the space, and did a decent job the first time this would take me a couple of weeks. Realistically I would stuff it up and still have to pay someone who knows what they're doing, afterwards. Thanks for the insight.
Do you remove the screws from lateral pillars covered by "Airbag" sign? On B6 model you removed. Any other plastic covers from pillars/lateral frame except the back cover(brake lamp) need to be take out for acces space? Thanks
We never reuse the old fabric/foam. And dont offer that service. Just full Replacement with new foam/fabric and new glue. If it was previously recovered in new material, then repair can be accomplished. Here our some Quick Fix Methods Explained in this Video ruclips.net/video/R9zGH9KOUYA/видео.html
Fabric may only be sagging in a few places & still neat, but if it previously hasn't been recovered, Adding glue to the existing factory material wont work, looks messy, it will leave a visable stain due to glue hitting raw fabric. Over time the foam backing on the fabric crumbles away making it un-stick & causing the fabric to fall down. To fix the sagging issue professionally, the Foam/Fabric needs to be replaced. Kind regards, Reece
A list of our fabric can be viewd here in this video ruclips.net/video/w2_cP7idWns/видео.html Buy Our Fabric We Use On Our ebay Australia Shop - ebay.us/iVlfnt However Audi fabrics is not something we specialise in across all models, from our experience it's usually the #7 light grey cappuccino fabric we use or the #5 Anthracite
So if it's the foam backing that breaks down, have you found that it's lasting longer with the newer materials or even with the ones you are reupholstering, are they needing to be done after 7 - 10 years again?
I'd assume they last longer with the material we use as it has a protective extra stich layer on the foam side before it meets with the board. But I'd still assume the foam has a life span and will break down in that 10 - 20year timeframe
We don't do a huge amount of Audi models here so it gets difficult to suggest an accurate process online. Having windows out would make a lot of the removal easier, however it's a preference thing, we haven't yet had to remove windows and get by with the gentle flex bow of the board out rear drivers doors or front passenger doors and rear hatch, all depending on what model we are working on. However comes with practice and knowledge of what the tolerance is when it comes to bending boards.
Hey mate, we are just currently based in Adelaide SA doing the Car Headliner / roof lining repairs in person for local customers. For all other customers, interstate etc, we only have our online downloadable (how to DIY) eBooks available, and also we can sell and post the fabric out to you. But Melbourne should have local motors that could do the job for you. Cheers, Reece 👍👍😎
Buy Our Fabric We Use On Our ebay Australia Shop - ebay.us/iVlfnt Audi models can become difficult for us to suggest the correct match, majority of the time we are using either our #5 Anthracite charcoal black, or our #7 cappuccino light grey flat knit fabric

Hello can you explain why an Audi A4 S line headliner cannot not be repaired as in steam or glue? Every im reading it’s best to replace.
We never reuse the old fabric/foam. And dont offer that service.
Just full Replacement with new foam/fabric and new glue.
If it was previously recovered in new material, then repair can be accomplished.

I have a 2008 Audi A5. I was told he windscreen has to come out to enable the headlining to be removed. Is this correct?
