These same people do not adhere to any faith in particular and most never attend religious gatherings of any sort.
I did not forget. I have seen riots, terrorist bombings, hijackings, 9/11, embassy attacks, and hostage situations. Everyone who's trying to feel more important than the next guy. I'm so sick of violence and the needless loss of life. We never learn. For God's sake stay in your lane.

Talk about a misleading title! Those terrorists didn’t "attempt" to hijack the plane. They DID hijack it. I doubt the people trapped on it for so long would call that an attempt.
Because most people associate hijacking with a takeover of the plane while it's in the air. You're right though, this plane was hijacked even though it never left the ground.
It is interesting that this is precisely the teaching of Jesus in Matthew 10:37: that you must love him more than ypu love father, mother, son, daughter. It is no doubt a dangerous doctrine, and the Christian religion has had its fair share of miseries because of it. As an atheist, I have escaped the dangers of such strange doctrine. I have no God demanding from me to love him more than I love my wife.

Attacks like these scare me to think so many attacks happened even before 911 most classes focus on 911 so most people start thinking it was the first major attack even though there was a lot before it. I hope any people who were affected by an attack get justice and live a happy life
Peter, this happened in 1994. Back then, they didn't use those things on planes. They didn't even lock the cockpit. The captain was considered God to the co-pilot and navigator. They couldn't relieve the captain of his duties. He made the rules he called the shots. If you didn't like it, tough. Today, that has changed. Since 9/11, that all has changed. The co-pilot or navigator can relieve the captain at any time they feel the need, too. They are armed, and the cockpit is now locked.
