I was one of your followers and watched it back then. Man I love Air Asia and when I saw they were doing that it made me even more wish I was in Thailand! What a deal! Air Asia has the prettiest and nicest flight attendants. I knew what area you were going but didn’t know which beach.
Hi, it took me one clue only, been there a couple a times, love it. Then I went from Ao nang to a 4 island tour which was great, then a ferry boat to Phi Phi and from there later onwards to Phuket.
Here is a question of subject for you: Although I have to admit I would rather experience your adventures myself in person, I love watching your clips, since due to the current circumstances I take what I can get, only to use the information you provide to plan my upcoming lengthy stay in Southeast Asia. I’m sure you’re wondering by now, where is this mans question ? Okay, here it comes: where did you learn to produce videos ? I’m not necessarily talking about editing, I’m talking about the production and the story line telling. You make the whole experience, watching your videos, more fun then what ever is playing on TV these days, to the point that I’m actually waiting for new clips to come out. What I’m trying to say is, you do an awesome job and I hope you’ll never stop doing what you’re doing, and in return I promise I’ll never stop watching your videos. Thank you
holy crap Rocco, you don't know how much this comment means to me. I'm working hard at it...I love it....but comments like this are what fuels it all!!! To answer your question, I used to work in the film industry, mostly on TV shows. But never on the creative side so your compliment about story telling is really awesome to hear. Just trying to make videos i'd like to watch i guess.....
Retired Working For You I hope one day, in the not so distant future, we can hang out for a little while in, anywhere in Southeast Asia, as I would love to personally thank you and maybe invite you to a meal and yes, of course, a beer or two. Rocco from Victoria B.C. Canada
I love your videos! I traveled quite alot but Thailand has a special place in my heart. Frist time I was in Thailand was 20 years ago, I was 21 and fell in love with the people, the islands och Bangkok! Since then I have been back many times, now with kids and they love Thailand as well. Your BKK videos when you just strolling are great, I feel like I am back instantly. Keep the videos coming! Greetings from Sweden!
Got it when the plane landed, can't miss that scenery around Krabi Airport. My favorite is Phra Nang Beach, hope you take the little walk over to it. We always sit in the last row window seat, no one behind us & great views.
Hey, Chris looks like you walking much better. Your big toe must be healing. thanks again for an enlightening video. I will get back to you about some things I need to find out regarding moving to Thailand.
Hi Chris Fantastic video! Very immersive ... Am sure many viewers, me included, felt we were with you on this trip 👍 Each of your videos has super production quality - camera angles, slick editing, super script and the "life" of the video....can imagine the amount of hardwork you put into each of it! Hats off to you my friend! "Find a job you enjoy doing, and you will never have to work a day in your life." - fits what you are doing aptly.
I think that foreigners who are in Thailand at this time Would be very happy Because where to go Less tourists Nature has become more beautiful Foreigners who do not visit Would definitely want to visit like Chris Parker..........🤞😍🤞
Funny video ! I got it only at clue no 4 when you were at Aonang. But I had a feeling earlier when you said 700 to 800 km away from BKK. I envy you to be in Thailand since I am waiting to be able to go back in Thailand (ready to retire). Your videos keep reminding me how much I am anxious to go back and enjoy, thanks !
Chris, I had a hunch it would be railay Beach. I've never been but I hear on certain days the water is so clear the fish swim all around you. Cool place!
Does anyone else like the vlog before they watch it? :) Never been to Krabi will have to put it on the bucket list. Looks awesome I look forward to the next videos :)
I just couldn't guess Railey Beach... But I nailed Krabi Airport as soon as you arrived to the good old Don Muaeng. Watching Yankees crush the Blue Jays, top 5th and 16-3 for Yankees and 2 outs... I know you're a Blue Jays fan so I feel for you. But being a Swede and a Yankee fan... I can't be any happier than a pancake! Enjoy Raliey and looking forward to the next episode! Cheers!
The last time I was on that beach (about 2 years ago) half the beach was filled with food concession boats and there was heavy boat taxi traffic, so much nicer when empty.
Great video, I’m a new subscriber, I like your style. A story teller. 👍👍 Any videos out there with retirement and long term apartment advice for Krabi? Thanks 🙏
Hey Chris this is one of my all time favourites. I guessed right away but knew 100% when you landed in Krabi. I look forward to seeing what staying is like because I usually stay in Ao Nang👍👍
I (my wife) have a house in Lam Phura, Trang. Just 1,5 hours from Krabi. Visited Ao Nang last year. so beautiful. I will definitely check out Railay west next time.
I wish you had made the vlogs last year before I visited Thailand. Now I have to come again as soon as possible or even move there :) Thanks! You are the greatest ambassador of Thailand. Great job
Fantastic choice. I did get it but only as I saw part 2 and 3 first in the list LOL! Surely the best beach though, at least on the mainland. I went back in 98/99 and it doesn't really look any different, unlike a lot of Samui and Pha-Ngan. Cheers mate!
I flew down from Pattaya (by way of Bangkok) and stayed at a great boutique hotel in Ao Nang last summer (2019). Loved it there. The hotel had it's own private beach off property and after spending some time there, we took a brief long boat ride to Rialay Beach. Spent 4 or 5 hours there before taking the short long boat ride back to Ao Nang beach. Loved Railay Beach. And you are right, when it comes to Railay Beach, the West IS the best. Thanks for the Vids. I am enjoying them. John (Phoenix, AZ, by way of Buffalo NY, been to Toronto many times back in the day)
Great to see something i love. I also have started to explore Thailand more .... and it is endless. I recently visited Surat Thai and Satun and this beach looks like that.
At Clue #2 at the airport from the ticket - it said Krabi and then its easy. Best beach in Krabi is Railay Beach. Stayed at the Rayavadee Resort a couple of years ago. Awesome resort😄 Good job Buddy - hopefully meet up one day in Bkk🍺🍺🍺
Excellent and fun video; just got back from Phuket; people were very appreciative of efforts to travel domestically; businesses have it tough down there but still had a lot of fun; youve inspired meme to do Krabi in November when we get better weather; luv Railey 👍👍
Yes, they love us domestic travelers these days. And it's a chance to see Thailand in a once-in-a-lifetime state of being tourist free. Amazing, but very bittersweet as I feel so much for them.
I was there in February. Absolutely stunning and you are right camera won't do justice, it is so beautiful (especially sunsets) that you have to see yourself to believe. The only thing I didn't like about this beach is that it is not swimming friendly. Lot's of sharp rocks here and there. Be careful!

Got it when you arrived in Ao nang, had a feeling you might go to railey. Beautiful beach, especially when not to busy. You got a bargain on the flights, all year 👍 wish I was there with you. Great video 👌😉
Been there, done it. The boat from Ao Nang beach will drop you Railay West beach, Railay east does not have a beach, it just has a floating pier and a tiny beach. Seems to be you are on Phra nang beach, south of Railay.
you're funny. i am not on phra nang beach. but thanks for telling me where i am. and oh yeah...the boat dropped us off at Railay east and we came from Ao Nang. But glad you know everything!
I had a pretty good idea @ 4:43 when I spied the destination on your boarding pass. I was at Railay last November. Tough to beat the Andaman... but I could also recommend Ban Krut as my favorite gulf beach. -Cheers!
My Friend Air Asia Thailand flies Internationally too, Myanmar, Malaysia, and India, I have flow to all these destinations on Air Asia. Cheers, great video. Rayely Beach I miss my yearly trips to Paradise, open up soon.
Love Railey beach west in the morning and the sunset..but prefer to spend the lazy afternoon at Phra Nang Beach next to Rayavadee Hotel ..the atmosphere there is incredible!! 👍👍👍🤟🤟🤟
Looking forward to seeing more of the Railey area in your upcoming videos! I've stayed on Ko Lanta a couple of times in south Krabi and have always wanted to see Railey. Maybe on my next trip!
On a side note, 5:00 one of my favorite things to do while leaving LAX was to get there early and watch all the flight attendants walk by. Thai airlines and Japan airlines has some amazing looking women, but when Korea Air comes walking through, its like a super model-fest. Its breathtaking 555. I spotted a coffee club 8:04. All is good whenever a Coffee Club shop is nearby. My favorite! I wish they had these in the states. Great video. I didn't get any of the clues, but I loved the journey!
I'm a bit late to the party. I hoped by clue 3 and was sure when you hit Ao Nang. I agree. First went to Railay in 1995 and fell in love with it. Times when even without COVID you could be the only one on the beach. That changed pretty quickly and by 2002 the cat was well out of the bag. Still a gorgeous beach all the same.
Thought is was Ao Nang when I saw it at the tourist shop on the side of the bus....wrong ...oh well...but that Air Asia deal....now that’s what I’m talking about....I’m a flyer....big or small...love flying....
Oh!!! To easy!! Go there every year, plus a few other beaches on the islands there!! Chaweng my best fav only because you can have such a choice, loud, noisy, shopping clubs, drinking, eating, North, middle little quieter! South quiet, chilled, Then More south very nice beaches!
@@RetiredWorkingForYou , from Aonang boat service club walk till end of Soi Ao Nang 17 you will find a monkey trail going into the jungle exiting the other side.Hope you will explore it,have fun
